인삼의 석유-에테르 추출물은 사람의 적혈구로부터 얻은 carbonic anhydrase의 활성을 크게 억제하는 작용을 가졌음이 확인되었다. 이 억제효과는 acetazolamide에 의한 carbonic anhydrase 억제효과와 매우 유사하며, 따라서 인삼의 이른바 이뇨작용은 이 소수성 억제 물질에 기인하는 것으로 추측된다. It has been confirmed that petroleum ether extract from White Ginseng has a remarkable inhibitory effect on human erythrocyte carbonic anhydrase. This effect is very similar to the inhibitory effect of the carbonic anhydrase by acetazolamide, and therefore it may be assumed that the diuretic action of Ginseng results from its hydrophobic inhibiting substances.

인삼에 포함되어 있는 carbonic anhydrase 활성화 또는 안정화성분의 열, 무기산, 알칼리, 몇 가지 산화제 및 환원제에 대한 안정성을 검토하였다. 이 성분은 열이나 묽은 무기산, $Na_2S_2O_4$와 같은 환원제에 대해 비교적 안정하나, 알칼리와 산화제($H_2O_$, NaClO, $K_3Fe(CN)_6$)에 의해 그 작용을 쉽게 잃게 된다는 것을 확인하였다. Effects of heat, mineral acid, alkalis, and oxidizing and reducing agents on the stability of the carbonic anhydrase activating or stabilizing principle in Panax Ginseng are investigated. It is found that the substance is relatively stable to heat, dil. mineral acid (hydrochloric acid), and reducing agent such as Na-hydrosulfite. However, the action of alkalis and oxidizing agents ($H_2O_$, NaClO, $K_3Fe(CN)_6$) resulted in loss of its function.

본 연구는 인터넷 사용자의 증가와 사용 환경이 급성장하는 가운데 유해성(각종 사이버테러 등) 역시 증가하고 있다는 문제점과 대응을 분석하였다. 이러한 상황에서 각종 정보보호시스템이 개발되어 운용되고는 있으나 현재 까지 역추적 기술에 대한 완벽한 대안을 제시하고 있지는 못하고 있다. 해킹이 시도된 후 이를 막기 위한 제품/서비스로 해킹 시도 자체를 방지하는 데는 한계를 가지고 있다. 따라서 적절한 실시간 역추적 기술의 도입을 통해 기존 네트워크 체계의 문제점을 해결하고 보안성을 극대화 할 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구에서는 실시간 역추적 기술의 동향과 적용 사례 분석을 통한 이해와 개념을 제시한다.

사람 혈청 속에 있는 L-글루탐산-데히드로게나아제 (GlDH) 및 순수한 GlDH (Sigma사 제품)의 활성은 인삼의 에탄올 추출물(WGpet-alc)에 의해 다같이 증가되었지만, 인삼의 석유에테르 추출물(WGpet)에 의해서는 작은 농도에서도 감소되었다. 이러한 효소활성 증가효과 또는 감소효과는 흰쥐의 간 GlDH에 대한 실험결과와도 여러 점에서 공동된 양상을 나타낸다는 것이 확인되었다. On the basis of our previous report on the biochemical studies of Ginseng substances, it was attempted to observe the effect of ethanol extract (WGpet-alc) and petroleum ether extract (WGpet) of White Ginseng on the activity of human serum GlDH and pure GlDH in vitro. The activity of human serum GlDH and pure GlDH was significantly increased in the presence of WGpet-alc. On the other hand, an inhibitory effect of WGpet on GlDH was observed even at low concentration. It was also confirmed that these activating and inhibitory effects have the same pattern as the effects on albino rat hepatic GlDH.

When the concentration of WGpet-alc was under 0.05%, human serum L-isocitrate dehydrogenase was activated in vitro but its activity lowered as the concentration of WGpet-alc rose, and it was found that about 47% of the ICDH activity was diminished in the presence of 2. 0% of WGpet-alc. On the other hand, an inhibitory effect of WGpet on ICDH was observed even at low concentration, and it was shown that ICDH was completely inhibited at 0.05% of WGpet. A similar effect of WGpet-alc and WGpet was also observed in human serum L-malate dehydrogenase reaction. The activity of MDH increased sufficiently (about 2.3 times at the concentration of 0.05% WGpet-alc), but the activity lowered when the concentration of WGpet-alc rose over 0.05%. At 2.0% of WGpet-alc the enzyme activity decreased to almost half. When 0.05% WGpet was added to the reaction mixture, about 57% of the enzyme activity was found to be diminished and a complete inhibition of the enzyme activity occurred at 0.1% of WGpet.

인삼의 에탄올 추출물(WGpet-alc)은 사람 혈청 속에 있는 글루탐산-옥살초산 트란스아마나아제(GOT) 및 글루탐산-피루브산 트란스아미나아제(GPT)의 활성을 증가시키는 효과를 가졌으며, 이러한 효과는 WGpet-alc의 농도가 0.50% 일때 가장 현저하였고, 농도가 이보다 클 때는 도리어 감소되었다. 이와는 반대로, GOT 및 GPT의 활성은 인삼의 석유에테르 추출물 (WGpet)에 의해 크게 감소된다는 것이 확인되었다. Ethanol extract of Ginseng(WGpet-alc) was observed to increase the activities of human serum GOT and GPT in vitro and it was found that both enzymes showed the maximum activity when the concentration of WGpet-alc was 0.5% and the enzyme activity was decreased as the concentration of WGpet-alc rised over 0.5%. It was also observed that petroleum ether extract of Ginseng (WGpet) showed even at very low concentration an inhibitory effect on both enzymes.

With due to the recent development of USN (Ubiquitous Sensor Network) technology, a monitoring system has been developing for assuring the structural integrity of infrastructure through normal or long term measurements during their lifetime. An accident such as a collapse of infrastructure may cause not only loss of life but also damage to the economy of the nation. In order to enhance the availability of infrastructure and to be able to maintain their lifetime, it is necessary to monitor and to evaluate continuously the structural integrity throughout their entire lifetime. The purpose of this paper is to develop a monitoring system integrated with evaluation function based on the ubiquitous technology. The most essential part of this study is focusing more on developing a specific module convertible to A/D, which is to enhance the applicability of sensors that had not been applied to existing monitoring systems. Conclusively it has been successfully enhanced to make more diverse the number of sensors and measuring techniques for the monitoring system.
