        Microfluidic Device for Continuous Observation of Cellular Behaviors in Specialized Core-shell Microcapsules

        To screen cellular behavior in individual microcapsules, we propose a new method that is capable of efficiently trapping, capturing, monitoring, and collecting microcapsules by using hydrodynamic and magnetic forces. We generated specialized core-shell microcapsules with magnet particles (1.05 μm) that respond to a magnetic force by a core-shell encapsulation microfluidic device. Microcapsules were individually trapped in the trap wells of a microfluidic device by a hydrodynamic force. Then, the microcapsules were captured firmly by a magnetic force that did not allow any microcapsules to escape from the trap wells. In addition, the microcapsules could also be collected easily by removing the magnet from the microfluidic device. A mouse embryonic carcinoma cell line, P19, was encapsulated to form embryonic bodies, resulting in a high rate (¤90%) of spheroid formation while maintaining strong cell aggregation and viability. We expect that this method can provide a useful screening tool to study stem cells and tumors with respect to chemical cues.

        Droplet-based Microfluidics for Making Uniform-sized Cellular Spheroids in Alginate Beads with the Regulation of Encapsulated Cell Number

        Droplet-based microfluidic devices are a promising strategy for generating highly-reproducible,massive cellular spheroids. However, there were challenges in the previously-reported microencapsulation device for forming uniformly-sized cellular spheroids because of difficulty in regulating the number of encapsulated cells in the alginate beads. Here, I introduce an advanced droplet-based microfluidic device that is capable of generating the number of encapsulated cells in a more uniform fashion than the previously-reported microencapsulation device via dispersing cell clusters formed by self-assembly into an individual single cell at a cell-scattering component. When cell clusters were introduced in the cell scattering component, the initial large-sized cell clusters were scattered into single cells via about 10 iterations of sequential processes (split, stretch, and bump). After cell encapsulation, the number of encapsulated cells coincided with the Poisson distribution in the cell-scattering encapsulation device,while the number of encapsulated cells was rather randomized in the previous device; the cell clusters were encapsulated in 20% of all alginate beads. In addition, more uniform-sized cellular spheroids were generated in the beads by the cell-scattering encapsulation than by the previously-reported device via adjusting the number of cells in the beads. The proposed method provides a valuable tool for generating massive and uniform cellular spheroids, which will contribute to the development of a new quantitative analysis of stem cell differentiation and cancer research.

        Studies on the Manufacturing of Carbon Bond Graphite Crucible

        Carbon bond 흑연도가니는 clay bond 형 흑연도가니에 비하여 열전도율이 크고 열팽창율이 적으며, 열간하중성이 좋을 뿐 아니라 열충격에도 안전하여 그 사용 수명이 100여회나 된다. 본 연구결과 carbon bond 형 흑연도가니의 제조에 적합한 원료의 조합비는 인장흑연 40, 탄화규소 15, Ferro-silion 25, 무기질결합제 15, 영정석 3, ferromanganese 2 였으며, 흑연도가니 제조에 소요되는 원료들의 상호관계는 흑연량이 증가할수록 산화율 및 기공률이 증가하고, 기공률의 증가도 흑연의 산화량에 비례하였으며, 탄화규소의 증가는 산화율 및 기공률을 증가 시켰고 ferrosilion의 증가는 기공률 및 산화율에 별영향을 미치지 않었고, 유리질의 증가는 산화율 및 기공율을 감소시키나 과량이면 bloating현상이 일어나 오히려 기공률이 커졌다. 제조된 도가니의 물성은 부피비중2.31, 겉보기비중 2.58, 기공률 15.2%, 흡수율 6.01%, 압축강도 438kg/$cm^3$, 인장강도 256kg/$cm^3$, 산화소모율 3.77%이하이며 평균사용 수명은 105회였다. This study was focused on the improvement of production techniques of small crucibles in relation with the appropriate selection of raw materials, various batch compositions and physical and chemical characteristics of the crucibles. Various tests gave the optimum batch composition for the carbon bond graphite cructble as follows: Pyontaek graphite flake (refractory aggregate) : 40Part Silicon carbide: 15Part Tar pitch (binder) : 11Part Inorganic additives (to improve the oxidation resistance) : 15 Part Cryolite : 3 Part Ferro manganese : 2 Part Ferrosilicon : 25 Part Crucibles pressed with 400kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ at 12$0^{\circ}C$. and fired in reducing atmosphere at 120$0^{\circ}C$ brought the most favorable results as follows: Bulk density : 2.31 Apparent density : 2.58 Porosity : 15.2% Oxidation loss at 1, 50$0^{\circ}C$. for 3 hrs : below 3.77% Water absorption : 6.01% Compressive strength : 438kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ Tensile strength : 256kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$.

        論文分析了以跨年代和體裁語料分析,中世紀韓國語格助詞的分類基本上是以其意義、功能、聲調、生命度、尊卑爲基准,幷被視爲應嚴格遵守的原則。通過分析發現,中世紀屬格助詞的分類基准生命度和尊卑之分,到了近代、現代助詞的分類上,生命度和尊卑基准的制約變得淡薄。

        기독학교 교목의 정체성과 사역 비전

        경성대학교는 1955년 故 김길창 목사에 의해 ‘기독교 정신’으로 세워졌지만 건학 이념 보다는 대학의 성장과 발전이라는 현실적 목표를 추구해 왔다. 하지만 2014년에 경성채플과 기독교 정책과목들의 개설, 2015년에는 경성대학 교회를 설립하여 건학 이념 구현의 토대를 마련하였다. 본 논문 2-3장에서는 이러한 사명을 감당하는 교목의 정체성과 사역에 대한 문헌 연구와, 교목실 사역을 돌아보았다. 특별히 2016년 2학기 경성채플을 수강하는 692명(성별/ 남–274/39.6%, 여–398/57.5%, 무응답–20/2.9%, 종교별/ 기독교-108/15.6%, 천주교-35/5.1%, 불교-102/14.7%, 무교-440/63.6%, 기타-7/1%)을 대상으로 실시한 채플 평가와 만족도 분석을 통해 교목사역의 현재적 유의미성과 앞으로의 사역 비전을 제안한다. KyungSung University committed to ‘Christian Gospel’ was founded by the late reverend Gil Chang Kim in 1955. KyungSung has put more efforts on the highest standards of academic excellence over the last 60 years. Since 2014, several core classes focused on Christian Gospel were instituted through KS Chapel and Global KS. Celebrating 60th anniversary in 2015, KSU Church was officially dedicated to strengthen Christian Gospel and Campus Ministry. While treating in the 2nd and 3rd chapter of this paper, I introduce the office of KS Campus Chapel to answer for the identity and Christian ministry with further written studies. Particularly, I analyzed 692 students" questionaries of 2016 Second Semester (sex: male students 274 or 39.6%, female 398 or 57.5%, and none 20 or 2.9%; religion: Christians 108 or 15.6%, roman catholics 35 or 5.1%, buddhists 102 or 14.7%, atheists 440 or 63.6%, and none 7 or 1%). By this way, I want to suggest the present significance of and future tasks of Christian schools" campus chaplain ministry.
