A questionary survey was performed to invetigate the citizen's attitude concerning the waste incineration facility. People disliked most cremetorim followed by waste transfer station, chmical factory, waste incineration facility and sanitary landfill. Most people favored 1km minimum distance of incineration facilities from the residence. Most people think that we need most composting facilities in the future followed by sanitary landfill and incineration facilities. Majority of people was willing to accept the perfect incineration facilities near their residence. However, 37.6% answered no. Most people accepted complusory measures by the goverment in the location of incineration facilites. One incineration facility per one city or Gun was slightly favored than multy-city or Gun incineration facility. People think that perfect thchnology most important to overcome Nimby's.

With the rapid growth of economy, the use of plastic is increased. However, due to inefficient management plan after use of plastics, great quantities of recovered plastic waste is not properly treated. In addition, because most of waste plastic is landfilled, we are faced with many problems in landfill site and occurrence of leachate. In order to solve this problem, the new recycling system has to be established and be built up information system connected with local government, waste collector, and recycling companies. In this study, it was assessed LCA of PET. According to the inventory analysis of water emission, it is shown that the concentration of wastewater is low due to simplification of process and product constituent. The impact assessment was not performed in detail because of elements limit for factors. The material load equivalent, which has impact on ozone layer depletion in global scale was only obtained. To reduce environmental impact by using of PET products and to lead the effective use of resources, PET must be recycled and reused because of the problem of dioxin when it is incinerated.

Henry Ⅱ(1154~89), the first of the Plantagenet Plantagenet Kings, is known to have been successful in strengthening the royal power through the reform of the English judicial system, but to have encountered major setbacks in his policy to gain more control over the church. He intended to tighten his grip on the church by nominationg Thomas Becket, his trusted henchman and Chancellor, archbishop of Canterbury. As Becket immediately changed changed character and vehemently opposed Henry posing as champion of church rights and subsequently was murdered by the king`s that the church of England came to be completely subordinated to the Roman canon law. In this paper I have attempted to clarify that henry had not been very adamant in view of the feudal customs of that time in his policy towards the church of England, and that his influence on the church did not decrease greatly, although he had great difficulties dealing with the papacy in the wake of Becket`s murder. On the basis of these arguments I have tried to reappraise the traditional view that Henry`s policy toward the church ended up in failure. With this purpose in mind I have reexamined the following issues. First, what was the back ground of the issuance in 1164 of the Constitutions of Clarendon that can be said to have been the core of Hnry Ⅱ`s policy towards the church? Second, how did Henry envisage the kingly power over the church should be strengthened? Third, how was Henry`s grip on the church of England after the retraction of certain provisions of the Constitutions of Clarendon subsequent to the murder of Becket, and what was the real significance of the Constitutions?

In this paper I examined on the origins of medieval universities. Some scholars argued that the Greeks and the Romans had no universities in which the word has been used for the past seven or eight centuries, and the true university are a genuine product of the twelfth century. But others insisted that the education and scholarship before the twelfth century, especially in Athens and Alexandria, were fully developed, so we must consider a university as an institution which were risen gradually from the long tradition of past. Reviewing these opinions critically, I suggested the view that the university as an institution for higher education, on the one hand, had a great debt to the tradition, on the other, a university as an institution of organized education represented by faculties and colleges and courses of study, examinations and commencements and academic degrees, was emerged from the peculiar circumstances of the twelfth century.
