        지역사회 고위험 우울노인의 집단인지행동프로그램이 노인의 외로움, 우울 및 자살사고에 미치는 효과

        Purpose : the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cognitive behavior group intervention on loneliness, depression, and suicidal ideation among community-dwelling older adults with a high risk of depression. Methods : A quasi-experimental research with nonequivalent control group pre-posttest design was employed. Twenty-seven older adults were recruited from community mental health welfare center for the intervention group, and 23 older adults participated for the control group. The intervention consisted of 10 sessions with cognitive behavior group discussion once a week. Instruments were Loneliness Scale, Geriatric Depression Scale, and Suicidal Ideation Scale. Analysis of covariance(ANCOVA) was used to adjust for baseline measures of the mean group difference. Results : The results showed that there was a statistically significant difference of loneliness( F=6.15, p=.017), and depression(F=12.87, p=.001) between the intervention and control group when controlling for the covariate. However, there was no significant differences in post adjusted suicidal ideation(F= 3.56, p=.065) between intervention and control group. Conclusion : The findings suggest the need to modify and to use the cognitive behavior intervention for older adults with a high risk of depression at the community- based setting.

        자아존중감 증진 프로그램이 재가 만성 정신분열병 환자의 자존감, 우울 및 대인관계에 미치는 효과

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of self-esteem improvement program on self-esteem, depression, and interpersonal relationship in chronic schizophrenia patients living in the community. Methods: The research design was a non-equivalent pre and post control group design. One of two community mental health centers was randomly assigned to receive the intervention and the other served as a control. Eight patients in the intervention group and ten in the control group participated. For the intervention group, the self-esteem improvement program was provided in 60-minute session once a week for 12-weeks. Measurements were Korean version of self-esteem scale (SES-K), Korean version of beck depression inventory (BDI-K), and Korean version of interpersonal relationships (IR-K). Results: The only statistically significant difference between the experimental and control group was for interpersonal relationships. For the experimental group, there were statistically significant differences in self-esteem and interpersonal relationships. Conclusion: The results indicate that this type of program has a positive effect on self-esteem and interpersonal relationships and can be a feasible type of intervention program for community dwelling patients with chronic schizophrenia.

      • 재가(在家)노인의 학대에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the situation of maltreatment and even abuse of aged people at home and to suggest or develop treatment programs and proper nursing care for the old. The subjects in this study are 199 aged people over 65 years at home in Seoul (96 men and 103 women). A survey questionnaire designed by the researchers consists of 27 questions and is divided into 4 categories. This questionnaire is developed from preceding studies for elderly abuse(Quinn et al, 1986, Rosenblatt, 1997, Song et al, 1998) and is estimated on a 4 point rating scale. The statistical analysis is carried out by percentage, one-way ANOVA, and Scheffe-test. The results of this study were as follows ; Regarding elderly abuse, the results from statistical analysis show that psychological abuse and neglect occur in 12.8% of the subjects sampled, physical neglect occurs 9.9% among those sampled, financial abuse and neglect 5.1%, and physical abuse and abandonment 1.8%. There was no significant difference in sex, age, religion, the existence of job, the number of children, inherited property, educational background, health status, physical disease, dependence on ADL, resource of income and alcohol in elderly abuse level (p>0.05). However, elderly abuse level is shown to occur with significant differences in marriage status, spending money by the month, economic status among those who support a certain old person, the satisfaction of each old person’s economic status, the participation level of social activity, the relationship among the family and, the frequency of meetings with children(p<0.05). Therefore, elderly abuse in marital status is found much higher in bereavement, divorce, and separation than marriage, in spending money by the month is shown lower at elderly abuse in much more spending money than small spending, and in the economic status of supported children, good economic status is resulted in lower at elderly abuse level. And the elderly abuse level in dissatisfaction of economy status is shown higher than good satisfaction of economy status, and the elderly abuse level in participation status of social activity is shown lower in social activity than social non-activity. Also, in the relationship among family members, good family relationship is shown lower than bad family relationship in elderly abuse level, and in the frequent meeting children more than once a month is lower than once a month in elderly abuse. The elderly abuse that occurs today is higher in psychological abuse and neglect than physical neglect, financial abuse and neglect, and physical abuse and desertion. Also, the elderly abuse level is found lower in case of marriage, much spending money per every month, good economic status of children, good satisfaction of economic status, social activity, good family relationship in the past and frequent meeting with children.

        대학생의 데이트 폭력 경험에 대한 연구

        Purpose : The purpose of this study was to identify experience of dating violence and factors affecting dating violence in college students. Methods : A cross-sectional, descriptive design was used. A convenience sample of 633 college students was recruited in Y college. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, and multiple regression analysis. Results : The regression model on psychological dating violence experience was significant(F= 11.25, p<.001). Thirty-three percent of the variance in the psychological dating violence was explained by the direct effect of data violence awareness(β=.36), dating experience(β=.35), family violence experience(β=.18), gender equality awareness(β=-.17), and age(β=.02). The regression model on physical dating violence experience was significant(F=5.08, p<.001). Gender equality awareness(β=-.25), date violence awareness(β=.20), dating period;6~12month(β=.18), dating experience(β=.15), and family violence experience(β=.10) explained 18% of the variance in physical dating violence. The regression model on sexual dating violence experience was significant(F=4.71, p<.001). Gender equality awareness(β=-.31), dating period;6~12month(β=.22), dating experience( β=.17), and family violence experience(β=.14) explained 17% of the variance in sexual dating violence. Conclusion : The findings have implications for strategies and suggest the need to develop an education program on healthy dating and gender equality awareness in order to prevent dating violence in college students.

        일개 전문대학에 재학 중인 대학생의 회복탄력성과 양생에 관한 연구

        Purpose: This study was designed to assess the degree of resilience and Yangsaeng and to identify correlations among variables of college students in Korean. Method: Participants were 244 students in Y city of Kyunggido province. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson’s correlation coefficients, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe’s test, multiple regression and Cronbach’s α. Result: For Yangsaeng, mean score was 3.06(5 point scale) and 181.34(5 point scale) for resilience. Yangseang was correlated positively with resilience (r=.452, p<.001), self regulation (r=.44, p<.001), interpersonal skills (r=.27, p<.001) and positivity (r=.40, p<.001). Major satisfaction and regular exercise was significantly different in Yangsaeng and resilience. Yangsaeng, major satisfaction and drinking alcohol was explained 24.5% for resilience. Conclusion: The Yangsaeng oriental health care regimen could improve resilience; self-regulation, interpersonal skills and positivity. Therefore, Yangsaeng could be recommended as a way of promoting health and resilience.

        The purpose of this study was to identify a school life satisfaction to self-esteem of college students. The result of the study in return will provide basic formation for counseling in schools, guidance and education in college students. Also. It will provide the basic data for self-esteem promoting program for improving school life satisfaction in the college students. A convenient sample of 2153 students was selected from YIT students. The instruments used for this study were the self-esteem test modified by An, Hwang-Ran( 1993). The collected data were analyzed with the descriptive statistics such as frequencies, means, multiple Regression. The results of study are as follows : 1. The mean self-esteem score for the total sample was lower(54.02). Factors affecting the self-esteem were : sex, age, type of residence, physical health, mental health, father’s education level, father's job, child rearing type of mother's, household economic level, family atmosphere, a period post-graduate study determination, entrance motive, scholastic achievement ability, these variables explained 33.7% of variance. 2. The mean of school life satisfaction of college students was moderate(37.73). Factors affecting the school life satisfaction were : sex, age, type of residence, physical health, mental health, father's education level, father's job, child rearing type of mother's, household economic level, family atmosphere, entrance motive, a period post-graduate study determination, scholastic achievement ability, self-esteem, these variables explained 20.1% of variance.
