한국산 담수어류 버들붕어, Macropodus ocellatus (Pisces, Osphronemidae) 망막의 시각세포에 관한 연구

Using both light and scanning electron microscopies, it was investigated on the visual cells as well as the eyes of Macropodus ocellatus (Pisces, Osphronemidae). This species had a circular lens and yellowish cornea. The eyes had $3.5{\pm}0.2mm$ which is $31.1{\pm}3.0%$ in a percentage of eye diameter relative to head length. The retina ($158.2{\pm}10.6{\mu}m$) was built of several layers, including the visual cell layer which consists of three types of cells: single cons ($27.8{\pm}1.6{\mu}m$) and equal double cone ($33.9{\pm}3.7{\mu}m$), and large rods ($57.3{\pm}1.3{\mu}m$). The visual cell layer then was classified into the correct pattern. All visual cells were clearly distinguished from two parts (inner and outer segments). The elongated rod cells were extend to the bottom of the retinal pigment epithelium. In scanning electron microscopy, the outer segment links to inner segment by so-called calyceal piles. The M. ocellatus single and double cones appearance form a flower-petal arrangement, which is a regular mosaic pattern that contains quadrilateral units by four double cones surrounding a single cone.
빙어(Hypomesus nipponensis)의 정소 내 정자의 미세구조

The ultrastructure of sperms in testes of the pond smelt (Hypomesus nipponensis) was investigated using electron microscopes. The whitish testis was located between swim bladder and intestine. Especially, the left testis was larger than the right testis. The sperm was approximately $26\;{\mu}m$ in length. The sperm had an oval head and the acrosome was not found. The nucleus was about 400 nm in diameter and chromatin was incompletely condensed. The nuclear fossa deeply formed in sperm head and two centrioles were located in the fossa. The mitochondrium was observed only one in midpiece of the sperm and a motile flagellum consisted of an axoneme with a typical 9+2 pattern of microtubule. Also, the tail of the sperm has axonemal fins.
돌마자(Microphysogobio yaluensis)의 정소 내 생식세포에 관한 연구

모래무지아과에 속하는 한국고유종 돌마자 (Microphysogobio yaluensis)의 정소 내 생식세포를 조사하여 수온변화, 환경오염 및 서식지 파괴 등으로 멸종위기에 처한 한국고유종 보존을 위한 기초자료를 제시하고자 돌마자의 정소 내 생식세포의 특성을 확인한 바 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 돌마자의 정소가 성숙초기에는 정소의 정소낭 내에는 발생과정이 비슷한 생식세포들이 분포하였으며, 정소낭과 정소낭 사이에는 라이디히 세포들이 존재하였다. 또한 성숙후기 정소의 정소낭에는 정자들이 가득하였으며 제2정모세포들도 남아있었다. 제1정모세포의 핵은 직경 3 ${\mu}m$ 정도의 구형이었으며 미토콘드리아들은 세포질 한 쪽에 모여 있었다. 제2정모세포들은 직경 1.5 ${\mu}m$ 정도의 구형 또는 난형의 핵을 보유하였으며 제1정모세포보다 작았다. 정자완성과정 중에 있는 정세포의 핵은 구형으로 전자밀도가 높게 나타났으며 편모를 형성하기 시작하였고 세포질의 미토콘드리아는 편모를 따라 재배열되었다. 특히 정자의 두부는 구형으로 첨체는 보유하지 않았으며 편모는 전형적인 9+2 구조의 미세소관으로 이루어져 있는 특성들을 나타내었다.
한국산 수수미꾸리Kichulchoia multifasciata의 생식주기

Histological study and gonadosomatic index (GSI) to investigate an exact reproductive cycle of Korean loach Kichulchoia multifasciata, were conducted throughout a year from December 2011 to December 2012. The stage of ovarian and testicular development was divided into four phases: a growing phase (November to March the following year), a spawning phase (April~May), a degeneration phase (May~June), a resting phase (June to November). The peak of the spawning period in male and female appears between April to May, having water temperature 12.7℃ and day length over 13 hours. These results were consistent well with a histological study.

The sharks identified in the coastal waters of Korea are known to date to 9 Orders, 21 Families, 32 Genera and 47 Species. Therefore, recent studies and records of shark appearance in Korean waters were reviewed and organized. As a result, Halaelurus buergeri was separated from the Family Scyliorhinidae into the Family Pentanchidae based on the supraorbital crest absent on cranium above eyes. Accordingly, compared to the previous study, Family Pentanchidae, Genus Hexanchus, and 2 Species Hexanchus griseus and the Alopias superciliosus were added, resulting in a total of 49 species of sharks in 9 Orders, 22 Families, and 33 Genera in coastal waters of Korea. A list of these species, a search table, and the history of scientific name changes are provided, and proposed a new Korean name of ‘Bul-beom-sang-eo-gwa’ of the Family Pentanchidae.
한국산 미꾸리과 어류 왕종개 Iksookimia longicorpa 망막의 시각세포

The visual cells in the retina of Iksookimia longicorpa (Pisces, Cobitidae) were investigated by light and scanning electron microscopes. The retina (216.42±13.36 μm) has several layers, and the visual cell layer consists of unequal double cones and large rods. In a double cone, two members are unequal such that one cone is longer than the other (long element 26.42±1.7 μm, short element 16.82±1.1 μm). The cones form a row mosaic pattern in which the partners of double cones are linearly oriented with a large rod. The visual cells observed have an outer segment (hematophilic), inner segment (eosinophilic). In scanning electron microscopy, the outer segment links to inner segment by so-called calyceal piles (calyceal processes) of membrane discs surrounded by double membranes.

The purpose of this study was to find the effects of upper extremity pattern and rhythmic stabilization techmitue of MET(muscle energy techniques)+massage group and VAS(Visual Analogue Scale) in Frozen shoulder patients. Following appoval by the chief of neurosurgery, sixteen frozen shoulder patients were divided into two groups : The nine were in there MET(muscle energy techniques) exercise+massage group and the senven others least 4 weeks. Experimental data were analysed by statistical method t-test and Post-hoc was used for Duncan`a multiple range test. All statistical test in this study were conducted at the .05 level of significant With above exrerimental process the following were gainded. First. ROM: The MET exercise+massage group is more effective in increasing ROM such as flexion, extension, adduction, adduction, internal rotation), external rotation and MET exercise group was not significant differenoes on main effect(p<.05) Secound. VAS : The analogue scale of both group (MET exercise group; t=32.68, massage physical therapy group;(t=10.56, p<.00) was decreased significantly(p<.05) Therefore, in other to prevent and treatment Frozen shoulder patients, it necessary to ROM, in applying MET(muscle energy techniques), ROM(Range of Motion) program.
한국산 납자루아과 어류 2종의 시각세포에 관한 비교 연구

Two Korean Rhodeus bittering fishes are known as having a unique reproduction system that the female deposits its egg inside freshwater mussels. Among them, R. ocellatus and R. uyekii show an ecological difference in feeding items and micro-habitat. Through a light microscope, the visual cells of the retina in the two species were investigated to get information between vision and environment related with habitat. The two fishes’ eyes are spherical and R. ocellatus has relatively larger eyes. For the two species, the visual cells of the retina consisted of long single cones, short single cones, unequal double cones and rods. In the cones, all show a row mosaic pattern. Although the two species have a different micro-habitat in the wild, the component of the visual cells was very similar to each other.

Most of the downstream of the river is blocked by beams, so fishways are required for the movement of conciliatory fish species and connection with the upstream. Therefore, it is very important as an ecological pier that can help free movement of fish. The three previously installed eel ladders use only brushes on the bottom. For find out the effect of the bottom material except to brush, experimented used model glass eel ladders to the ascent of glass eel. The eel ladder model was 1.2 m length, 0.3 m wide, and 0.1 m high, and three gravels of different particles were attached to the bottom of the fish ladder setting on the Geumgang Estuary Bank. The first model ladder was made of gravel with particles of 5 mm, and the second model ladder was made of gravel with particles of 2 mm. The third model ladder was made by solidifying with particles of 1 mm or less cement. All experiments were repeated 5 times for 1 hour. As a result of the experiment, the lower the angle, and the smaller the gravel particles, the more glass eels are ascended to the ladder, but the made of cement was nearly not ascent. The gravel-bottom model ladder has a lower discharge and flow rate than the brush ladder so more glass eels can ascent ladder, and if the glass eel ladder is improved through experiments applying various floor materials and variables in the future, more glass eels are going to ascent glass eel ladder.
오염 요인별 지역선정을 통한 대기-기상자료의 미세먼지 인과관계 검증

The gradual desertification in Northeastern China brought about by the industrial development and global warming, has affected the Korean peninsula as evident by the ultrafine dust geographically and seasonally. People with severe respiratory problems, senior citizens and the infants are susceptible to the ill effects of fine dust which could prove fatal to them. Hence, we need to study the root cause of fine dust emergence and the correlation verification between fine dust and its side effects. This study firstly analyzed clean and contaminated areas classified by industrial elements. We utilized air, weather and industrial data in the area. Next, we detected a change of fine dust in terms of weather and climate. We analyzed correlation of air and weather by influence from domestic and neighboring country. The result indicated that China is the culprit of the emergence of fine dust predicament. Consequently, we can prove that fine dust ($PM_{10}$) and ultrafine dust ($PM_{2.5}$) could arise from geographical, seasonal, and pollutant elements. Therefore, we propose the optimum to make countermeasures about fine dust in terms of industry, topography, population and living residence.
