        스포츠생리학 / 폐경기 여성의 신체활동, 체격, 연령, 초경 및 폐경시기가 대퇴골밀도에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 신장, 체중, 초경, 폐경, 신체활동, 운동경력이 대퇴골경 밑 대퇴전자부 골밀도에 미치는 관계를 알아보기 위해 Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry를 이용하여 폐경기 여성(연령 54.4±4.59세) 16명을 대상으로 측정 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.대퇴골경 골밀도는 연령과 운동경력과는 각각 r=0.74(p<0.001), r=0.53(p=0.001)로 매우 높은 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 신장, 체중, 신체활동, 초경과는 r=0.48(p<0.001), r=0.47(p<0.001), r=0.41(p<0.05), r=0.40(p<0.05)로 유의한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 다중회귀분석 결과 체중, 연령, 신체활동이 91.14%를 설명하였다.대퇴전자부 골밀도는 신장, 체중, 운동경력이 각각 r=0.63(p<0.001), r=0.72(p<0.001), r=0.70(p<0.001)로 매우 높은 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으며 연령, 신체활동과는 각각 r=-0.48(p<0.001), r=0.49(p<0.001)로 유의한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 다중회귀분석 결과 체중, 연령, 신체활동이 94.28%를 설명하였다. The relationship between physical activity, physique, ague, menarche, postmenopausal, femur trochanter bone density was studied in 16 health, postmenopausal women. Femur neck and femur trochanter bone density were measured with dual energy X-ray absorptiometry(DEXA).Femur neck bone density was significantly correlated ague as well as height, weight, menarche, physical activity and exercise career.The calculated contributions of weight, age, physical activity for the total variances femur neck bone density was 91.14% respectively.Femur trochanter bone density was significantly correlated weight as well as age, height, physical activity and exercise career.The calculated contributions of weight, height, age, physical activity for the total variances femur tronchanter bone density was 94.28% respectively.

        운동생리학 : 체중감량이 고등학교 태권도 선수의 등속성 최대근파워와 근지구력에 미치는 영향

        This study examines effects of rapid weight reduction on isokinetic maximal muscle power and muscle endurance in high school aged taekwondo players on 10 trained males. The methods of Weight reduction is selected exercise, diet, and sauna on 5% self weight. The test performed 60°/sec on isokinetic maximal muscle power and 180°/sec on muscle endurance using isokinetic machine. Variables are peak torque(PT), peak torque/body weight(FT/BW), total work(TW), Hamstring/Quadriceps ratio(H/Q ratio). The results of this study are as follows :After weight control during a week on isokinetic maximal muscle power, FT showed significant change on left knee extensor(p<.05), PT/BW showed significant change on right and left knee extensor(p<.05), and TW showed no significant change on knee extensor. Isokinetic maximal muscle power, FT showed significant change on right and left knee flexor(p<.05), PT/BW showed significant change on right knee flexor(p<.05), and TW showed significant change on right knee flexor(p<.05). Muscle endurance, FT showed significant change on right(p<.05) and left knee extensor(p<.01), PT/BW showed significant change on left knee extensor(p<.05), and TW showed no significant change on knee extensor. Muscle endurance, FT showed significant change on left knee flexor(p<.05), PT/BW showed significant change on right and left knee flexor(p<.05), and TW showed significant change on left knee flexor(p<.05). H/Q ratio, showed no significant change on isokinetic maximal muscle power(60°/sec) and muscle endurance(180˚/sec).In conclusion, reduced weight through methods of exercise, diet and sauna decreased significantly on ability of isokinetic maximal muscle power and muscle endurance in taekwondo players.

        자연과학편 : 주기화 근력 트레이닝이 중,장거리 사이클 선수의 경기력 관련 변인에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 선수 경력 3~4년의 경기도 소재 D 고등학교 중·장거리 사이클 선수 10명(평균연령: 18세 ± 0.67세, 신장: 175.01 ± 6.87 cm, 체중: 62.00 ± 6.49 kg)을 대상으로 사이클 중ㆍ장거리 선수의 경기력 향상을 위한 훈련 프로그램(도로, 스프린트, 및 근력)을 개발하고, 이를 약 6개월간 적용하여 그 효과를 검증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구기간 중 4차례에 걸쳐서 체력 및 경기력의 변화를 관찰하였으며, 운동효율성, Cycling Time, Wingate Test 그리고 등속성 각근력 검사를 실시한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 각 측정 변인에서 향상도의 경향이 발견되었으며, 경기력 역시 훈련 프로그램 적용 후에 발전이 있었다. 훈련프로그램 적용 후 실제 경기에서 우수한 성적은 최대근력훈련을 수행한 후 지구력 향상기로 접어드는 단계에서 발견이 되었다. 그러므로 실제 실험실에서의 측정변인에서의 통계학적 유의성은 없었으나, 경기력 향상이 있었기에 본 연구의 훈련프로그램은 간접적인 영향을 준 것으로 판단되며, 향후 고등학교 환경에서 사이클 선수에게 적용이 가능한 훈련 방법이라 사료된다. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of strength training in combination with road cycling training for about 6 months on improvement of athletic performance in middle and long distance cyclists. Ten elite cyclists in "D" high school was participated in this study in which periodization theory for strength training was applied. Body composition, VO2peak, Ventilation(VE) and cycling efficiency, cycling time, Wingate test, and isokinetic muscle strength was evaluated after periodization of strength training. As a result, improvement in some variables produced in lab setting was not found statistically significant nor indirect measurements for cycling speed. However, some, but not all, cyclists showed a trend for an increase in measurements for speed. Considering that subjects post training program had good results in cycling events in which they participated, training program in the study might be effective to improve athletic performance. Taken together, training protocol applied in the study might be a good model for high school setting to improve athletic performance.

        운동생리학 : 운동강도에 따른 12주간 유산소성 트레이닝이 림프구 아형에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of 12weeks of aerobic training with different exercise intensity on blood lymphocyte number. Healthy college-aged males(22.53±1.91yr) were participated in the maximal exercise test before(N=32) and after(N=30) 12weeks of aerobic training. The subjects were divided into two groups; control groups(N=8), training group(N=24). Then training group was divided into three subgroups; 50%HRR(low, N=8), 70%HRR(middle, N=8), 85%HRR(high, N=8). Two persons were eliminated during the training. To investigate the effect of aerobic training on blood lymphocyte number were measured at rest, immediately after exercise and 60min recovery. Maximal exercise testing was used the Bruce protocol on the treadmill. VO_(2max) were measured by maximal exercise testing, exercise intensity was determined for aerobic training treatment a basis of this measured values. speed and grade at 50%, 70%, 85%VO_(2max) and 50%, 70%, 85% of %HRR gained pre test were produced and applied. The programs of exercise groups were aerobic treadmill exercise for 12weeks. Three groups performed almost 40min, 30min, 20min per day(3days/week) by 300㎉ respectively. Venous blood were drawn at the forearm antecubital vein at rest, immediately after exercise and 60min recovery. First, there was no significant differences of T-cell among four groups in number, but there was significant differences before and after training and sampling time in number(P<.01, .001). Second, there was no significant differences of B-cell among four groups in number, but there was significant differences before and after training and sampling time in and number(P<.01, .001). Also, there was no interaction effects. Third, there was no significant differences of NK-cell among four groups in number, but there was only significant differences before and after training in number(P<.01). there was significant differences of sampling time in number(P<.001). There was no interaction effects before and after training and sampling time in number. Forth, there was no significant differences of Th(CD4+)/Ts(CD8+) ratio among four groups, but there was significant differences before and after training and sampling time(P<.01, .001). Also, there was significant differences interaction effects among groups, before and after training, and sampling time(P<.05). Results indicate that the exercise-induced lymphocyte subset reduction is transient and suggest that it is not dependent upon training intensity in the case of college-aged male, but aerobic training of various intensity is associated with sustained alterations in immune function, both at rest and when exercising.

        Resistance exercise has been one of the major potent stimulus to the neuromuscular system Based on the specific program design resistance training has been reported to enhance shingle power, or local muscular endurance. However, the scientific basis of the exercise intensity has not been enough to manifest about several hormone(e.g. anabolic, catabolic or appetite hormone). So the purpose of this study was to define that the responses of anabolic, catabolic and appetite hormone after resistance exercise of high level intensity(HI), moderate level intensity(MI), and low level intensity(Ll).The subjects for this study were 9 men (Age=25.4±3.56yts; height=175.6±4.46㎝; weight=71.6±8.97kg) who didn’t have history of cardiopulmonary diseases and medical problem.They performed the circuit resistance training using HI(10reps at 80% of one-repetition maximum(1R14, bran rest), MI(13reps at 6O% of 1RM, Min rest), and LI(20reps; at 4O% of 1RM, 1min not) protocols with 3 sets. Approximately, total exercise volume was 39,000J on all of the exercise protocols. Hormonal concentration was measured at three different tints: pm, past and Naivety thirty minutes of the exercise.For the data, all of the measurements -tire represented by mean and standard deviation using SP% statistical package(version 10.0). The statistics techniques for data analysis were two-way repeated ANOVA to determine the differences between each intensity and each time. One-way ANOVA was used to the specific analysis of exercise intensity. The 5% level of significance was used as the critical level for acceptance of hypotheses of the study.

        운동생리학 : 발레 무용수의 공연직전 스트레칭이 근력과 유연성에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of stretching right before performances on strength and flexibility of ballet dancers. For this purpose twelve female ballet majors were chosen to perform acute stretching of hamstring muscle for 0 second, 10 seconds, 30 seconds, and 60 seconds with 15 seconds of intervals between each stretching. And change in flexibility, peak torque, peak torque per body weight, and total work were measured by a Con-trex isokinetic dynanometer, following the performance of the subjects' stretching. The data were analyzed by one-way repeated measures ANOVA with p<.05 as the level of significance. The results are as follows : The performance of stretching caused significant decrease in the peak torque of knee flexion(p<.05). But difference in stretching duration(10 seconds, 30 seconds, 60 seconds) was found not to have significant influence in the peak torque of knee flexion. The performance of stretching caused significant decrease in the peak torque of knee flexion per body weight(p<.05), while difference in stretching duration(10 seconds, 30 seconds, 60 seconds) did not show significant difference in the peak torque of knee flexion per body weight. The performance of stretching caused significant decrease in total work of knee flexion(p<.05), yet difference in stretching duration(10 seconds, 30 seconds, 60 seconds) did not indicate significant difference in total work of knee flexion. Flexibility of knee flexion in each different stretching duration was not significantly different(p<.05) but showed a tendency to increase as duration increased. Based on these results, it is concluded that peak torque, peak torque per body weight, and total work were significantly decreased after acute stretching because the strength loss after acute stretching is assumed to result from the change of muscle length, muscle elasticity, and stretch reflex. On the other hand, different stretching duration(10 seconds, 30 seconds, 60 seconds) revealed no significant difference in strength. This is assumed to result from the fact that stretching durations were short and that there was only one muscle to be stretched. Flexibility was not significantly different in strength after acute stretching, either, and only showed a tendency to increase.

        Effect of the amount of battery charge on tube voltage in different hand-held dental x-ray systems

        Purpose : Hand-held dental x-ray system is a self contained x-ray machine designed to perform intraoral radiography with one or two hands. The issue about its usage as general dental radiography is still in dispute. The aim of the present study was to assess the relationship between the amount of battery charge and the tube voltage in different handheld dental x-ray systems. Materials and Methods : Seven hand-held dental x-ray units were used for the study. Tube voltage was measured with Unfors ThinX RAD (Unfors Instruments AB, Billdal, Sweden) for 3 consecutive exposures at the different amount of battery charge of each unit. The average and the deviation percentage of measured kV from indicated kV of each unit were calculated. Results : Tube voltage of only 1 unit was 70 kV (indicated by manufacturer) and those of the others were 60 kV. Tube voltage deviation percentage from the indicated kV at the fully charged battery was from 2.5% to -5.5% and from -0.8% to -10.0% at the lowest charged battery. Conclusion : Tube voltages of all units decreased as the residual amount of the battery charge decreased. It is suggested that the performance test for hand-held x-ray system should be performed for the minimum residual charged battery as well as the full charged one. Persistent battery charging is suggested to maintain the proper tube voltage of the hand-held portable x-ray system.
