The testis and epididymis are important organs of the male reproductive system; the functionis to produce, mature, transport, and store sperm. It is important to understand the localization and expressionof specific proteins based for the studies of its physiological processes. In this study, we investigated theexpression and distribution of galectin-3, one of beta-galactoside-binding proteins, in the testis andepididymis of mouse using western blot and imunohistochemistry. Western blot analysis revealed that theexpression of galectin-3, 29 kDa protein, was low in the testis. In the epididymis, high expression wasdetected in the body and tail part, but moderate expression in the head part. By immunohistochemicalanalysis, we found that positive localization of galectin-3 was detected in some myoid cells and Leydigin the epithelium of epididymis, especially in the epithelium of both body and tail of epididymis. Collectively,these results suggest that galectin-3 is constitutively expressed in the testis and epididymis of mouse withvarying intensity, and the role of galectin-3 in the male reproductive organ may be involved in the specificfunction of its structures.

나노압입시험에서의 접촉형상 보정을 통한 유연소자 박막의 탄성특성 평가

최근 스마트폰 산업의 발전으로 인하여 실사용 환경에서 유연소자의 기계적 거동에 대한 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있다. 유연소자 박막은 두께가 나노 단위이고, 기존의 시험법으로 측정하기 어려워 주로 나노압입시험을 이용하여 경도, 탄성계수 등의 특성을 구하고 있다. 그러나 현재 널리 쓰이고 있는 분석법(Oliver-Pharr Method)은 기판의 영향이 이론적으로 고려되지 않아 단순히 적용하기에는 무리가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기판 영향을 고려한 타 연구자들의 모델에 대한 적용성을 확인하고, 압입자와 시편 표면에서 발생하는 소성쌓임 현상(pile-up)에 대해 압입깊이의 보정을 실시하였다. 유연소자 박막의 탄성계수를 평가하고 검증하기 위하여 폴리이미드 및 실리콘 웨이퍼 기판 위에 금속, 비정질 박막을 증착하여 실제 실험을 수행하여 비교하였다. The evolution of smartphones has led to numerous researches in the mechanical behavior of flexible devices. Due to the nano-size of the thin flexible film, nanoindentation is widely used to evaluate its mechanical behaviors, such as elastic modulus, and hardness. However, the commonly used Oliver-Pharr method is not suited for analyzing the indentation force-depth curves of hard films on soft substrates, as the effects of soft substrate is not considered theoretically. In this study, the elastic modulus of the thin film was evaluated with references to other reported models which include the substrate effect, and with calibration of the indentation depth for the pile-ups between the indenter and test surface. We fabricated test samples by deposition of amorphous metal film on polyimide and silicon wafers for verification of modified models.

영화산업은 한류의 영향과 함께 우리 문화의 발전을 기약하고 나아가 21세기에 우리 경제를 이끌어 갈 성장산업으로 인식되고 있다. 영화산업이 지속적으로 경쟁력을 갖추고 한류 확산에 기여하려면 제작에 대한 투자 등 양적 증대와 함께 장르 다각화, 작품성 향상 등 질적인 성숙과 함게 경쟁법적 차원에서 소비자가 질 높은 영화를 선택할수 있도록 자유롭고 공정한 경쟁질서가 확립되어야 할 것이다. 이를 위해서는 무엇보다 소위 빅3 소속 계열사들의 자발적인 공정경쟁질서 확립이 급선무이다.

본고는 『蒼石集』에 수록된 130여 편의 疏·箚·啓辭 가운데 蒼石 李埈의 현실인식과 그 대응방안이 구체적으로 제시된 자료를 대상으로 하여, 자신의 지위와 처해진 현실을 중심으로 시기별 특징에 따라 전란기, 외임기, 간관기로 나누어 논의를 전개했다. 전란기의 창석은 창의를 통해 구국실현을 위한 길에 앞장섰으며, 屯田起耕을 효과적으로 경영하여 기민을 구제하고 군수 공급을 원활하게 하는 데 온 힘을 쏟았다. 또한 소모관으로 참전하여 의병을 규합하고 군수를 재정비하는 등 위란의 조선을 구하는 데 최일선에 섰다. 외임기는 단양, 풍기, 삼척 지역 목민관이 되어 궁핍한 백성들의 현실을 목도하고 그들을 구제할 방안을 마련하는 데 진력했다. 그 방안으로 첫째는 문제의 원인에 대한 정확한 진단과 함께 해결 방안을 군왕께 상소한 것이고, 둘째는 지성으로 백성을 보듬어서 化民成俗을 이루는 데 있었다. 간관으로서의 창석은 공론을 펼쳐 문제해결을 위한 다양한 방안을 제시했다. 특히 힘주었던 부분은 언로의 개방을 통한 상하 소통의 국정운영이다. 언로 개방은 인사의 중용과 공정한 국정으로 이어지기 때문이다. 그리고 외침에 대비한 국방 운영은 인재의 발탁과 실효적인 책략을 통해 자강자립을 위한 국방 운영을 천명했다. 창석이 제시한 간언은 한결같이 성왕의 정치가 펼쳐져 백성들이 평안한 삶을 구가할 수 있기를 바라는 데 있다. This study developed a discussion based on the specific materials about Changseok s perceptions of reality and countermeasures in approximately 130 So(疏), Cha(箚), and Gyesa(啓辭) in his Changseokjip(蒼石集) according to the war, local office, and gangwan(諫官) period. During the war period, Changseok took the lead in saving the nation by raising an army in the cause of justice and managed Dunjeongigyeong(屯田起耕) effectively to save starving people and ensure the smooth supply of military materials, being in the frontline of saving Joseon from the war. During the local office period, he served as a local Mokmingwan(牧民官) in Danyang(端陽), Punggi(豊基), and Samcheok(三陟), witnessing the destitute reality of people and devoting himself to plans to save them. His made a two-prong approach: one involved the accurate diagnosis of causes of problems and the proposal of their solutions to the king, and the other was to enlighten people and create beautiful customs by taking care of them with utmost devotion. As a Gangwan, he put a special emphasis on the management of state affairs based on communication between upper and lower ranks by opening up the communication channels since the opening of communication channels would lead to the appointment of personnel and fair management of state affairs. He also declared the management of national defense for self-strength and self-independence through the recruitment of talents and effective strategies. His remonstrance was always based on his wish that the politics of a sage king would work to ensure a peaceful life for people.
