단파장적외선 분광분석법을 이용한 열수변질대 정량화 연구

Advanced argillic, argillic, and phyllic zones are the most important alteration patterns to predict the hidden ore body during exploration of hydrothermal deposits. We examined the quantitative relationship between the spectral absorption characteristics and the mineral content of the synthetic mixtures such as alunite-kaolinite and illite-kaolinite using short wavelength infrared (SWIR) spectroscopy. In the alunite-kaolinite mixtures, the spectral absorption characteristics of the alunite was highly correlated with the Hull quotient reflectance(0.99) and the kaolinite had the highest correlation with the Gaussian peak(0.92). Illite-kaolinite mixtures are essential for Gaussian deconvolution because of the overlap of absorption region. Illite and kaolinite mixtures indicate the high correlation of 0.93 and 0.98, respectively. The error ranges in the alunite-kaolinite(8%) and illite-kaolinite mixtures(5%) derived from SWIR were smaller than the ones(29% and 26%) obtained from X-ray diffraction(Rietveld) analysis. These results show that SWIR spectroscopic analysis is more reliable than XRD Rietveld analysis in terms of quantification of allowed minerals. 열수 광상의 잠두 광체를 예측하는데 중요한 인자로 인식되는 고(산성)점토 변질대, 점토 변질대 및 필릭 변질대의 정량성을 확보하기 위해 명반석-고령석 조합과 일라이트-고령석 조합에 대한 합성 혼합시료를 대상으로 단파장적외선 스펙트럼의 흡광특성과 광물함량의 점이적인 변화추이를 비교하였다. 명반석-고령석 조합에서 명반석은 Hull quotient 반사도가 가장 높은 상관관계(0.99)를 보이며, 고령석은 가우시안 피크가 가장 높은 상관관계(0.92)를 나타내고 있다. 일라이트-고령석 조합은 흡수영역이 중첩하고 있어 가우시안 분해가 필수적이며, 일라이트와 고령석은 각각 0.93과 0.98의 높은 상관도를 보이고 있다. 단파장적외선 분광분석법에서 유도한 명반석-고령석과 일라이트-고령석 조합의 오차범위(8%, 5%)는 리트벨트 X-선 회절정량분석법에서 구한 성분비의 오차범위(29%, 26%)보다 작아 분광분석결과가 상대적으로 정량적 신뢰도가 높다는 것으로 확인되었다.
풍촌층 상부 층준의 고품위 석회석 동정을 위한 SWIR 적용

정선 지역 고품위 석회석 광산인 강원, 충무 및 백운 광산을 대상으로 풍촌층 상부 층준의 대표적 탄산염암을 구분하고 각 유형의 전암 분석 및 VNIR-SWIR(visible near infrared-short wavelength infrared) 분광분석을 실시하여, 현장에서 고품위 석회석의 CaO 함량, 이질 불순물 및 백색도를 평가할 수 있는 분석법을 제시하였다. 동일 시료에서 분말 시료의 분광 반사도는 절단 시편에 비하여 매우 높은 분광 반사도를 보였고, 탄산염암의 분말 시료는 백색도와 분광 반사도가 0.99의 매우 높은 상관관계를 보이고 있다. 전암 분석에서 확인된 충무광산의 방해석과 백운석 분말 시료를 75:25, 50:50, 25:75 질량비로 혼합하여 각각 스펙트럼의 변화를 확인하고, 탄산염암의 CaO 함량과 흡수파장을 비교한 결과 0.98~0.99로 매우 높은 상관도를 보이고 있다. 탄산염암의 흡수파장과 화학조성은 2340 nm(55.86 wt.%)에서 2320 nm(29.71 wt.%)로 이는 $CO{_3}^{-2}$ 성분과 결합하고 있는 Ca 함량과 이를 치환하는 Mg 성분 함량의 차이에 따라 흡수 위치가 변화되는 것을 의미하며, 현장에서 분광분석을 통한 탄산염광물의 CaO 함량을 정량적으로 적용할 수 있다. The mineralogical and geochemical characteristics of diverse carbonate rocks can be investigated by using VNIRSWIR(visible near infrared-short wavelength infrared) spectroscopic analysis as a rapid, nondestructive, and inexpensive tool. Comparing whole rock analysis to VNIR-SWIR spectroscopic analysis, the analytical method was investigated to estimate CaO contents, mud impurity, and whiteness of carbonate rocks involved in high-grade limestones in the field. We classify typical carbonate rocks in the upper Pungchon Formation in high-grade limestone mine area such as the Gangweon, Chungmu and Baegun mine in the Jeongseon area. The results show that powdered specimen has much higher reflectance than cutted specimen between the same sample. Whiteness is highly correlated with reflectance(0.99) for powdered specimen. The absorption of mineral mixtures shifts in position as a result of the mass ratio of calcite and dolomite in the Chungmu mine by changing to 75:25, 50:50, and 25:75. The absorption peak position in carbonate mixtures is highly correlated with CaO contents(0.98~0.99). Based on color system, the carbonate rocks are grouped into (milky) white, light grey, light brown, grey, and dark grey. The absorption peak position shifts from 2340 nm to 2320 nm as CaO contents decrease from 55.86 wt.% to 29.71 wt.%. We confirmed that absorption peak position shifts depending on the amount of Ca, which is bonded to $CO{_3}^{-2}$, Mg, and Fe contents replacing Ca. This result suggests that CaO contents in carbonate rocks can be considered to quantitative analysis in the field by spectroscopic analysis.

To classify a presumed hybrid of imported grouper species acquired from the National Fishery Products Quality Management Service, maternal and paternal lines were identified based on partial sequencing of mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase 1 (co1) and nuclear recombination activation gene 1 (rag1) genes. The matrilineal species was identified as Epinephleus moara by a partial (760 bp) co1 sequence. Ambiguous sequences with base pairs belonging to E. moara or E. lanceolatus were found in a total of 15 different base pairs in the partial 1,159 bp of the rag1 gene, and the patrilineal species was found to be E. lanceolatus. Therefore, all of the groupers examined in the study were identified to be hybrids of E. moara and E. lanceolatus. In addition, a fast and convenient method using random amplification of polymorphic DNA (RAPD) was established for hybrid discrimination. Hybrids between E. moara ♀ and E. lanceolatus ♂ were identified through specific bands of 387 bp and 433 bp in PRIMER 6.

Introduction : Olfactory groove meningiomas are usually resected via various skullbase approaches. In this report, a direct approach to the tumor via the endonasal route is described. Material and Method : Four patients presented with headache or seizure. Radiological images revealed olfactory groove meningioma associated with surrounding edema. The olfactory function examination revealed the hyposmia in all patients. All tumors were resected via endoscopic endonasal trans-ethmoidal approach. Results : The tumors were completely resected, including the dura of origin and bone. The skullbase reconstruction was performed with multi-layers fashion. There was no postoperative neurologic deficit except anosmia and morbidity including the leakage of cerebrospinal fluid. Conclusion : The endoscopic endonasal transethmoidal approach could be a safe and curative surgical approach to treating for olfactory groove meningiomas.

A precise embedded ultrasonic localization system is developed for autonomous mobile robots in indoor environments, which is essential for autonomous navigation of mobile robots with various tasks. Although ultrasonic sensors are more cost-effective than other sensors such as LRF (Laser Range Finder) and vision, they suffer inaccuracy and directional ambiguity. First, we apply the matched filter to measure the distance precisely. For resolving the computational complexity of the matched filter for embedded systems, we propose a new matched filter algorithm with fast computation in three points of view. Second, we propose an accurate ultrasonic localization system which consists of three ultrasonic receivers on the mobile robot and two or more transmitters on the ceiling. Last, we add an extended Kalman filter to estimate position and orientation. Various simulations and experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed system.
안장가로막에 대한 종양의 기원과 개구부 상태에 따른 두개인두종의 성장양상

Background: Advances in the endoscopic endonasal approach (EEA) have increased the under-standing of craniopharyngioma anatomy. We have previously proposed a relationship among cranio-pharyngioma growth pattern, their origin relative to the diaphragm sellae, and their aperture compe-tency. To reappraise that relationship, we retrospectively reviewed the diaphragm sellae anatomy of patients who underwent EEA for craniopharyngioma. Materials and Methods: From May 2010 to January 2013, thirty five patients underwent EEA procedures for craniopharyngiomas. Twenty patients without a surgical history were included in the study, and medical records describing the spatial relations between the tumors and the diaphragma sellae were reviewed and correlated with the tumor growth patterns on preoperative images. Results: All of the tumors were completely removed. Three prechiasmatic tumors were located un-der intact diaphragma sellae. Six retrochiasmatic tumors were composed of supra- and subdiaphrag-matic components that were continuous through an incomplete aperture of the diaphragm. Eleven retrochiasmatic tumors were located above intact diaphragms. Visual symptoms were normalized or improved in twelve of the sixteen patients with preoperative visual deficits. Preoperative hypotha-lamic dysfunction was recovered in ten of twelve patients. Conclusions: The EEA revealed the detailed tumor anatomy and confirmed our previous hypoth-esis that craniopharyngioma growth patterns are principally determined by the origin of the tumor relative to the diaphragma sellae and by the aperture competency. The EEA is indicated for removing both prechiasmatic and retrochiasmatic craniopharyngiomas.
