A battery of tests for scholastic achievement, personality, study habits as a means to determine predictable factors in the process of learning has come to obtain. For a fuller assessment, the scope of validity needs to be determined as it operates concurrently in different areas at which individual tests are directed. This paper records results of testing two groups of 150 and 50 women students. The multiple correlation was .63 as against .51 for a scholastic aptitude variable. Scholastic aptitude and personality were correlated and concurrent validity computed ranged rather low, from -.17 to .02 below the significant level, .05(See Table Ⅴ). In an aptitude-personality correlation the value derived was .06, too low for significance. Personality-study habits ranged in correlation from 0.18 to 0.4.

The purpose of this research is to improve the teacher education curriculum in Korean colleges and universities. There has no improvemental research on teacher education curriculum been conducted since 1655. The ultimate goal of teacher education curriculum is to foster the desirable teachers who will contribute to the improvement in secondary schools in future. The feature of desirable teacher depends on how to organize the curriculum which has been adopted on the basis of the ministry model and that of curriculum improvemental committee belonging to the universities and the colleges. Therefore, this research is highly significent to the improvment of the teacher education curriculm in Korea. The research is highly contributory to building up the teacher education curriculum which helps organize the department of teacher education in various colleges and universities in Korea. The frame and procedure of the research are as follows: historical change of teacher education curriculum in Korea, the comparative survey of five foreign contries' teacher education curriculum, critical evaluation on teacher education curriculum in literature in the past five years, analytical study emphasizing problems, demonstrative and improvemental model of curriculum on teacher education courses and administration of teacher education curriculum. The result of the research is that the writer organized the improvemental model of the curriculum based on every related theory which is basic assumption of organization of the curriculum, the goal theory of organizing and establishment theory of each field in organization.
Priming Effects at Clause Edge in the Processing of English as a Second Language

The present study explores whether or not L2 learners' real time grammatical processing differs from adult L1 speakers'. According to the Shallow Structures Hypothesis (SSH; Clahsen & Felser, 2006a, b), nonnative speakers (NNS) access only shallow representations during processing. This study tests the prediction made by the SSH more concretely, by investigating antecedent priming effects at intermediate gap positions during the processing of long distance wh-dependencies in L2 English, using a semantic priming task. High level NNSs showed crucial asymmetries: They responded faster to clause‐edge probes related to antecedents than those to subjects, but not otherwise. Low level NNSs’ reaction times were flat. They produced no reading-time asymmetries suggestive of intermediate traces or priming effects at gap position, unlike NSs under the same stimuli. In contrast, antecedent-priming at clause edge was discovered, suggesting intermediate traces left by cyclic movement. Priming effects at clause edge are prima facie reflexes of intermediate traces in NNS processing, suggesting that it is grammatically based.
심용접에 의한 판재로 보강된 균열판의 응력세기계수 해석

The stress intensity factor has been calculated theoretically for the cracked plate subjected to remote normal stress and reinforced with a sheet by symmetric seam welding. The singular integral equation was derived based on displacement compatibility condition between the cracked sheet and the reinforcement plate, and solved by means of Erdogran and Gupta's method. The results from the derived equation for stress intensity factor were compared with FEM solutions and seems to be reasonable. The reinforcement effect gets better as welding line is closer to the crack and the stiffness ratio of the cracked plate and the reinforcement sheet becomes larger.
測定尺의 機能에 비추어 본 標準點數尺 解釋에 관한 論究

The purpose of this study is to pursue the right explanation of standard score scales and its nature. Many researchers are likely to explain the nature of the measurement scale as if it werw ratio scale. Especially they explain the zero score as if it were absolute zero. From this point of view, I have surveyed the explanation of foreign researchers. The study of standard score scale should be accompanied by the study of the nature of measurement scale itself. Therefore I suggest the following. 1. The zero in standard score is not absolute but it means average ability. Accordingly free mathematic operation is meaningless but few restricted operation. 2. Standard score scale is one of interval scale. Some researchers are to explain it as interval scale while they recognized that the zero is absolute. This is a contradictory explanation. 3. Standard scores enable us to show more clearly the achieving results in class than using the raw scores. 4. Furthermore, it enables us to estimate even other scores such as percentile score rank order score and so on. 5. It enables us to evaluate the student's progress more fairly.
