The study tried to newly light up the tradition of the art constitution in a socialist state, analyze korean race dancing of China in the art-historical flow and find out the characteristics of modern art history by examining the formation, developmental process and their works of the korean race dancing of China.First, the formative period was from the time migrated Koreans to 1949. The flow and the propagation of the civil-folk dancing was developed actively in this periods. The dancing of theater art was developed by dancing art of korean race in China and the dancing of stage art was developed by stage art, which was the civil-folk dancing of the korean race.Second, the developmental period of the korean race dancing in China was from 1949 to 1980. Examining the flow and the change in the developmental period, this art was developed not only as keeping pace with the great flow of the socialist revolution and the establishment of China in a dancing cultural sphere but also as having a characteristic of the korean race of china, based on the traditional culture of their race. Therefore this is the period that the artistic dancing of the korea race leads to its own developmental course.Third, the peak period of the korean race dancing in China was from 1980 to the present. As the exchange of dancing was frequent in the inside and outside in this period, the acceptable work of the foreign dancing was progressed actively and the developmental area of the korean race dancing culture was established largely.Accordingly, the professional dancing theory and comments were developed deeply and broadly, and harmonized quantitatively as well as qualitatively in this period. Therefore the formation and contents of the work was understood concretely throughout understanding the historical flow of the korean race dancing of in China and the development of the dancing and the study could play an important role to understand an artistic aspect widely.

본 연구의 목적은 노년기 남성노인의 여가를 새로운 삶의 시작으로 보고, 전통무용을 즐기면서 활동하는 남성노인의 삶은어떠한 요인이 있는가를 심층적으로 탐색하는데 있다. 이를 위해 67세의 나이로 4년 이상의 전통무용 경험이 있고, 현재일주일에 3번 전통무용 수업을 진행 중 이며 2번의 무대공연 경험이 있는 연구 대상자를 단일 사례로 선정 하였다. 문헌자료와 심층면담을 실시하여 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 전통무용 활동을 통한 삶을 증진시키는 요소들이 어떠한 것이 있는지를 살펴보았다. 첫째, 여유로운 경제적 자원이 은퇴 후에도 새로운 경제적 활동으로 이루어 졌으며, 자존감을 상승시키고삶 전체에 대한 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 전통무용 활동을 통해 신체적, 정신적, 사회적 기능이 향상되어 전문적인 활동으로 이어지며 질 높은 노후를 맞는데 중요한 기능을 한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 여성노인 에게만 국한된 전통무용 활동이 남성노인 에게도 자존감을 상승시키고 긍정적인 노후를 맞는데 그 가치가 확장 될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이를 토대로 은퇴로 인해 또 다른 삶을 살아가야 하는 남성 노인들이 전통무용 활동을 통해 긍정적인 노후를 맞이할수 있도록 남성 노인들에게 꺼려지는 전통무용 활동을 좀 더 친근하게 접 할 수 있는 프로그램 연구가 필요함을 알 수있었다. This study is focused on the leisure activities of the elderly man as the beginning of new life. In addition, We try to analyze the factors of life for those who enjoy the traditional dance. For this purpose, we selected a research subject who is 67 years old. He has more than 4 years of traditional dance experience and 3 times of traditional dance classes every week. Also he showed twice performances on stage. Based on the collected data and in-depth interviews, we examined the factors that improves the quality of life through traditional dance activities. First, his wealthy life has an effect on the new economic activities after retirement. This contributed to raising self-esteem and satisfaction in his old age. Second, we examine that traditional dance activities play an important role in improving the physical, mental and social functions of the elderly. Traditional dance activities have an influence on achieving self-esteem and planing for positive later years of elderly men as well as elderly women. In result, this study found out there is urgently needed the new program research that the elderly men who should live another life due to retirement can plan for their happiness old ages.

The purpose of this study was to examine era trait of Song-Bum’s new dance which was classified as artistic activity, artistic trait, artistic trend, the masterpiece through sectioning every ear from his life history standpoint. Also, this study reconstructed Song-Bum’s life and tried to start life history study by using qualitative method. This study was made up of two section. Firstly, depth interview which was the most important research method in this study was composed of semi-structured depth interview and unstructured depth interview. Secondly, collection of human work and content analysis was used. Data was analyzed through procedures which organized, classified, categorized data and found pattern and synthesized data to understanded deeply and generally about new dance in his life history standpoint. The first step was transcription and second step was coding, categorization and the last step was constant comparison. The results can be summarized as follow using above method. Firstly, Song-Bum’s beginning period(1945-1960) started to create, perform work into dance of new part. Secondly, Song-Bum’s activity period(1961-1970) emphasized dance’s formality beauty by developing into occupational dancing organization. Thirdly, Song-Bum’s restoration period(1971-1980) developed new dance into korea material, techniques. Fourths, Song-Bum’s best period(1981-1990) typed new dance into korea dance style in center of national dance organization and completed formation of synthetic art. This study can be played a important role on establishing theory system of new dance and dada finding, data preservation because new dance have actively effect on present creation dance. Namely, this study will be played a important role on understanding not only development history, phase of korea dance but understanding his artistic activity, artistic trait, artistic world.
