A Water-jet is necessary to generate high water propulsion force in wheeled armored vehicle. This paper presented the result of CFD analysis to design the pod type water-jet and the results of water tank test of water jet. When the swimming speed, of amphibious wheeled vehicle is 6 km/h the thrust forces were in errors by lower than 3% compared to the bollard pull condition in CFD simulation. And the thrust force of CFD simulation conducted by the panel method were in errors by lower than 7% compared to the experiment.
