전북 부안의 좀구굴치 ( Micropercops swinhonis ) 개체군 생태

Population ecology of the freshwater goby, Micropercops swinhonis(Gu¨nther) was studied at the Ch`oˇngho reservoir of Puan-gun, Ch`oˇllabuk-do, Korea from January 1994 to July 1995. The usual habitat of this species is usually the sand and mud substrates where water plants are dense. 18 fish species in 10 families inhabit with M. swinhonis. The food items of M. swinhonis consist of copepods, cladocerans, chironomid larvae and young fishes eat also copepod larvae and rotifers. The mature group of about 30∼40 mm in total length is reached during one year. Spawning period is from April to May based on the gonadosomatic index of female and male. The number of mature ovarian eggs of an adult female is enumerated as 219∼958 and the size of ripe eggs is 0.64∼1.12mm in diameter.

한국산 새코미꾸리속 koreocobitis 어류의 골학적 연구

미꾸라지과에 속하는 새미꾸리속 어류의 골격계를 경골과 연골로 구분지어 두개골, 상각 및 하악, 현수골, 설궁, 새궁, 척추골 및 부속골격, 전대 그리고 요대로 구분하여 관찰 · 기재하였고 근연군으로 생각되어 왔던 미꾸리속 및 기름종개속 어류의 기존에 보고된 골학적 특성과 비교하였다. 대부분의 골격에 있어서 미꾸리아와 어류의 다른 속의 골격계와 거의 일치하였는데, 새궁에서 제 3기새골이 연골로서 신장되어 잇는 점, 하새골이 모두 4쌍으로 제 4하새골이 크기는 작지만 연골로서 존재한다는 점, 그리고 인새골이 모두 3쌍으로 제3인새골이 연골이지만 뚜렷하게 존재한다는 점에서 차이가 있었다. 새코미꾸리와 얼룩새코미꾸리의 2종 간에는 측사골에 있는 측돌기의 위치와 견갑골의 돌기의 크기를 제외하고는 뚜렷한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 한편, 그 동안 많은 논란이 있었던 본 속의 분류학적 위치에 대해서는 전두골이 부접형골과 마나지 않고, 현수골에 metapterygold-quadrate fenestra가 존재하는 점에서 미꾸리속보다는 기름종개속 어류와 근연인 것으로 사료된다. The skeletal system of the Korean endemic genus Koreocobitis is described and figured in detail, and discussed with previous reports about two related genera. Misgurnus and Cobitis. Although most skeletal characteristics of Koreocobitis accord with those of the other cobitid fishes, there were differences in the number of hypobranchial and pharyngobranchial bones and in having the fourth cartilaginous basibranchial bearing a thread-like cartilage extending posteriorly. The position of the lateral process on the lateral ethmoid and the size off the process in the scapula were different between the two species K. rotundicaudata and K. naktongensis. On the basis of two characters, frontal not contacting with parasphenoid and presence of metapterygoid-quadrate fenestra, the genus Koreocobitis seems to be closely related to Cobitis rather than to Misgurnus.

전북 부안군 청호저수지산 좀구굴치의 전골격계를 기재하고 도시하였다. 본종은 안하골에 안하골상이 있는 점, 내익상골이 후익상골로부터 분리하는 점, 견갑골이 이차상이고 상후의쇄골이 있는 점 등의 골학적인 특징을 보인다. 한편, 미골격과 등지느러미 담기골식에서는 많은 변이가 관찰되었다. The skeletal system of freshwater goby Micropercops swinhonis from Korea is figured and described in detail. The osteological characteristics of the species are as follows: infraorbital bearing a subocular shelf present; mesopterygoid present and separated from metapterygoid; scapula forked and dorsal postcleithrum present; and caudal skeleton and first dorsal pterygiophore formula highly variable.

한국산 양쥐돔과 어류 중에 지금까지 우리나라에 기록된 적이 없는 Naso lituratus (Schneider) 1개체(체장 215.2 ㎜)를 제주도 서귀포 앞 바다에서 정치망으로 채집하였다. 본 종의 국명은 "제주표문쥐치"라 하였으며, 계수·계측형질을 기재하고, 아울러 표문쥐치속 어류 3종의 검색표를 함께 제시하였다. A rare species of unicornfishes, Naso lituratus (Schneider) was recently collected from coastal waters in Cheju-do, Korea. This species was described and figured as first record from Korea. A key of three species belonging to the genus Naso from Korea is presented.
