Insulation breakdown of water-cooled generator stator windings occurs frequently due to leakage of cooling water and absorption into the insulation material. Leakage and absorption problems of water-cooled stator windings are often found during regular preventive maintenance. To evaluate cooling water leakage and absorption, diagnostic tests were performed on two water-cooled turbine generators, which have been in service for 13 and 17 years, respectively. The test results of the measured electrical properties such as dissipation factor($tan{\delta}$), capacitance and AC leakage current for water-cooled generator stator windings with wet bars are reported in this paper.

Reverse osmosis(RO) separation for aniline by a polyamide composite membrane, FT30-2540 in spiral wound type with high salt rejection was studied. Also the influence of some important process parameters on the solute rejection properties of continuous RO process has been examined at 21℃. The solute rejection. of aniline was increased at higher operating pressure in most cases. Also at lower pressures, increasing the feed concentration caused reduction of aniline rejection, but at higher pressures, the effect of feed concentration on the solute rejection was small. In case of adjusting pH of feed solution (pH 3 - 11), the stronger acidity of solution, the more effective of aniline rejection by the membrane, and in the region of neutral or base, solute rejection was lower than that in acid region. The permeate flux increased at higher operating pressure and lower feed concentration, and this agreed with the prediction of Kedem-Katchalsky model. Also, the linear relationship between a reciprocal of rejection coefficient and a reciprocal of permeate flux was applicable for Pusch's theory.
