Target fish species and the oceanographic conditions are important factors for the design of an artificial reef. These factors in this study were analyzed using a Questionnaire on recreational fishing in the Taean waters. According to the results. fish species caught by recreational anglers at artificial reefs in Teaan coastal waters were chiefly Sebastes schlegeli, Hexagrammos otakii and Perslichthys olivaceus. Also, current are relatively strong. These results mean that the artificial reef for recreational fishing should be made by the combination of frame and face structure.

인공어초에 대한 정확한 개수산정은 인공어초 사후관리사업의 필요충분조건이라 할 수 있다. 그러나, 현재까지 정립된 기준 산정방법이 없으며, 개수 산정시 필요한 실체적율 또한 0.8을 관례적으로 사용하였다. 본 연구에서는 인공어초를 투하한 직후 멀티빔에코사운더를 이용한 조사를 통하여 정확한 실체적율값을 알아보았다.

This study reviewed methods on the creation of seaweed beds. Two methods for the seaweed bed are presented in this study. The one is to promote the propagation of target seaweed species in the existing seaweed beds, and the other to recover the target seaweeds by various methods in seaweed withering ground. These methods, however, are differently used according to environment conditions in a given waters. The former is chiefly used in the place where herbivores such as sea-urchin are easily exterminated and the latter in the place where seaweeds are easily transplanted.

This study developed a normal temperature-circulatable retort-sterilized crab analog (RSCA) with a long shelf-life by retort sterilization. We examined the optimum sterilization conditions and quality characteristics of the RSCA. A central composite design for response surface methodology (RSM) was adopted to optimize of the retort sterilization. The central composite design consisted of 11 samples: four factorial points, four star points, and three central points. The sterilization temperature and F0-value for retort sterilization were the independent variables, and the shearing force, whiteness, and sensory score for texture were the dependent variable. The RSM analysis of the multiple response optimization for the RSCA using the Minitap statistical programing gave an F0-value of 3.3 min. at 117.5℃. The RSM analysis also indicated that the sterilization temperature during retort sterilization was the most influential factor, while the F0-value had little effect on the quality of the RSCA. The moisture, pH and volatile basic nitrogen contents of the RSCA product were 73.1%, 7.3 and 17.2 mg/100 g, respectively, and viable cells count was >18 CFU/g. And sensory quality characteristics of this RSCA was similar to those of a commercial crab analog.

Ectopic salivary tissue is an uncommon etiology of a neck mass in an infant. It is due to anomalous embryologic development of salivary tissue. We have experienced a case of cervical fistula due to ectopic salivary gland in 3-year-old male. The discharge is saliva-like and related to meals. Histopathologically, mucinous acini are located in lower dermis and subcutaneous fat. When a cystic neck mass or fistula is present on cervical area especially in children, an ectopic salivary gland should be considered as one of the causes. (Korean J Dermatol 2003;41(3) : 394∼396)

펄스형 Nd:YAG 레이저는 가공물질과 쉽게 반응하고, 램프에 의해서 연속발진은 물론 정상발진, Q-스이치 및 모드동기 발진까지 다양한 발진 형태가 가능하며 재료가공 및 계측용으로 널리 사용되어지고 있다. 재료가공에 있어서는 가공목적에 따라 에너지 밀도를 제어하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 에너지 밀도의 제어는 레이저 출력의 펄스반복률을 제어하는 방법이 주로 사용된다. 본 연구에서는 펄스형 Nd:YAG 레이저의 펄스반복률을 제어할 수 있는 3단 병렬 순차 충·방전 방식의 레이저 전원회로를 설계 및 제작하여 반복율에 따른 플래쉬램프의 전류파형 및 레이저 출력의 안정도와 신뢰성을 확인할 수 있었고, 펄스반복율은 30∼150[pps]까지, 30[pps]씩 증가시켰을 경우, 레이저 출력 효율은 약 5% 씩 감소한 반면, 축력은 약 4W 씩 증가하였다. A pulsed Nd:YAG laser interacts with processing materials easily, having different kinds of oscillators, such as CW by lamp, Q-switching, mode locking and so on. A pulsed Nd:YAG laser has been used in a wide variety of fields : measuring, materrial processing, and so on. In a material processing, it's very important to control an energy density according to the processing purpose. It is mainly used to control the energy density to vary pulse repetition rate. In this study, we designed and fabricated the 3-mesh parallel sequency charge and discharge circuit of which the pulse repetition was to be controlled. As increasing a repetition rate, we could find the stability and the reliability of laser output as well as flashlamp current waveform. When increasing a repetition rate from 30 to 150[pps] by 30[pps], we also found that the efficiency of lase output decreased by about 5%, while the output increased by about 4W.
