보중익기탕(補中益氣湯)이 Lymphocyte와 CD4+ T cell에 미치는 영향(影響)

Introduction The effects of Bojungikkitang on the immunosuppression induced by methotrexate in rats were investigated in this experiment. The multiple parameters of immunity assessed in. each rats includes the rate of body weight loss, weight changes in thymus, spleen and axillary lymphnode. The number of lymphocyte and CD4+ T cell count in blood, thymus, spleen and axillary lymphnode were also measured. Methodology Male Sprague-Dawley rats were chosen as an experiment object and were divided into 3 groups by a random selection. Each group consisted 6 rats. The normal group didn't receive any treatment. The control group was administered methotrexate for 4 days. The sample group was administered with both Bojungikkitang and methotrexate for 4 days. The dosage of medication was 2cc/day, 1cc given at 10AM and another 1cc given at 5PM. Results The rate of body weight loss was significantly decreased in the sample group. The weight of thymus was significantly increased in the sample group while the weight of spleen did not show much increase. Blood CD4+ T cell count, thymus lymphocyte count, thymus CD4+ T cell count, spleen lymphocyte count, spleen CD4+ T cell count and axillary lymph node CD4+ T cell count were significantly increased in the sample group while blood lymphocyte count and axillary lymphnode lymphocyte count did not show much increase. Conclusion As one can witness from the above results, administration of Bojungikkitang played potent role in increasing immune system among the rats treated with methotrexate which induces immunosuppression. Overall increase of lymphocyte count and CD4+ T cell count in the sample group with Bojungikkitang effectively proves its ability to boost the immune system.

마이크로웨이브를 조사한 흰쥐 폐조직의 Phospholipae A₂ 활성과 Arachidonic Acid Cascade계에 미치는 녹차 Catechin의 영향

본 연구에서는 흰쥐에 마이크로웨이브를 조사한 후 폐조직을 대상으로 폐조직 기능장애를 일으키는데 주된 역할을 하는 혈전생성능을 arachidonic acid(AA) cascade계를 통해 관찰하여 마이크로웨이브에 의한 폐혈관 기능장애와 그에 대한 녹차 catechin의 항혈전 효과를 규명하고자 하였다. 실험군은 마이크로웨이브를 조사하지 않은 정상군과 마이크로웨이브를 조사한 군으로 나누고 마이크로웨이브 조사 군은 다시 식이 중 catechin 공급수준에 따라 catechin을 넣지 않은 군(MW group), catechin을 0.25% 급여한 군(MW-0.25C group), catechin을 0.5% 급여한 군(MW-0.5C group)으로 나누었다. 식이와 음료는 자유 섭식시키면서 2주간 사육한 후 2.45 GHz 대역의 주파수를 15분간 1회 조사하였으며 마이크로웨이브 조사 후 6일째 동물을 희생시켜 본 실험에 사용하였다. 실험군의 실험동물 수는 각각 10마리로 실험하였다. $PLA_2$ 활성은 마이크로웨이브 조사로 30% 증가하였으며 MW-0.25C군은 15% 증가였으나 MW-0.5C군은 정상군 수준이었다. 인지질분자종의 변화를 관찰한 결과 lyso PE가 MW군에서 47% 증가되었으나 MW-0.25C군 및 MW-0.5C군에서는 각각 18%, 20% 증가되었다. $TXA_2$ 생성은 MW군에서 50%의 현저한 증가를 보였으나 catechin 공급군인 MW-0.25C군 및 MW-0.5C군은 정상군 수준이었다. $PGI_2$ 생성은 MW군에서 31%의 유의적인 감소를 보였으나 catechin 공급군인 MW-0.25C군 및 MW-0.5군은 정상군 수준이었다. 따라서 혈전생성지표인 $PGI_2/TXA_2$ ratio는 정상군에 비해 MW군에서 43% 유의적으로 감소되었으나 MW-0.25C군 및 MW-0.5C군은 정상군 수준이었다. 지질과산화물의 함량은 MW군에서 34% 유의적으로 증가하였으며 catechin 공급군은 정상군 수준이었다. 결론적으로 마이크로웨이브에 피폭된 흰쥐 폐조직에서는 AA cascade계의 율속 효소인 $PLA_2$ 활성의 증가와 혈전생성지표로 인식하는 $PGI_2/TXA_2$ ratio의 불균형이 초래되었으나 catechin은 TBARS 농도를 낮추면서 $PLA_2$ 활성을 저해시키고 AA cascade계를 개선시킴으로써 항혈전 작용을 나타내었다. In the present study, the effects of green tea catechin on microsomal phospholipase $A_2$ ($PLA_2$) activity and the arachidonic acid (AA) cascade in the lungs of microwave exposed rats were investigated. One Sprague-Dawley male rats weighting $100{\pm}10$ g was randomly assigned to the normal group and three were assigned to the microwave exposed groups. The microwave exposed groups were subdivided into three groups according to the levels of dietary catechin supplementation: catechin free diet (MW) group, 0.25% catechin (MW-0.25C) group and 0.5% catechin (MW-0.5C) group. Rats were sacrificed on the 6th day after microwave irradiation (2.45 GHz, 15 min). The lung microsomal $PLA_2$ activity in the MW and MW-0.25C groups was 30% and 15% greater than that of the normal group, respectively, whereas no significant difference between the normal group and MW-0.5C group was observed. The percentage of phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) hydrolyzed in the lung microsome in the MW, MW-0.25C and MW-0.5C group increased by 47%, 18% and 20%, respectively, due to microwave irradiation. The formation of thromboxane $A_2$ ($TXA_2$) in the lung microsome was 50% greater in the MW group than in the normal group. However, the levels of $TXA_2$ in the MW-0.25C and MW-0.5C group were normal. The formation of prostacyclin ($PGI_2$) in the lung microsome was 31% lower in the MW group than in the normal group, while the levels of $PGI_2$ in the MW-0.25C and MW-0.5C group were similar to the normal group. The lung microsomal thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) concentration, which can be used as an index of lipid peroxide was 34% greater in the MW group, when compared with the normal group. However, there was no difference between the MW-0.25C, MW-0.5C and normal groups. In conclusion, lung function appeared to be improved by green tea catechin supplementation due to its antithrombus action, which in turn controls the AA cascade system.

광음향 영상 기술은 광학영상 및 초음파영상 기법을 융합한 영상 기술로 높은 공간 해상도 및 대조도의 영상을 실시간으로 제공이 가능하다. 광음향 영상은 전임상 연구에서 많은 연구가 진행되었으며 최근 광음향 영상의 임상적 응용을 위한 연구에 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 본 논문은 광음향 영상을 이용한 원발 종양 및 전이 진단 기술 연구 현황에 대해 소개하고 임상적용을 위한 문제점에 대해서 알아보도록 한다. Photoacoustic imaging is a hybrid real-time imaging technique that combines high optical contrast and ultrasonic resolution. It has primarily been utilized in pre-clinical research and has evolved into clinical practice. In this paper, we review photoacosutic imaging for detection of primary canccer and metastatis and its limitation in translation from pre-clinical to clinical application.

기생(寄生)과 공생(共生) 사이 : 구인회 도시소설과 겹쳐 읽은 김유정 소설

서른 편 남짓한 김유정의 소설들은 주로 농촌 배경 소설과 도시 배경 소설 양자로 구분되어 논의되곤 한다. 그러나 소설의 무대가 어디인가의 문제가 아닌 1930년대 자본주의적 삶의 구조에 대한 문제의식이라는 점에서 접근하면 김유정 소설세계는 통합적이고 연속적으로 읽힐 수 있다. 특히 김유정이 1930년대 문학 동인 ‘구인회’의 일원이었던 만큼 그의 소설들을 박태원 등이 쓴 도시소설과 함께 읽을 때 그들이 공유했던 시대감각과 문제의식을 드러낼 수 있을 것으로 본다. 이를 위해 이 글에서는 김유정 소설의 핵심 소재인 들병이를 비롯한 농촌 유랑민이 도시로 유입되어 빈민층을 형성하게 되는 맥락에 주목했다. 즉 김유정 소설의 농촌 유랑민들을 박태원의 『천변풍경』 등에 등장하는 시골 출신 행랑어멈, 안잠자기, 깍정이(거지)의 전사(前史)로서 재조명한 것이다. 한편 김유정 소설에서 성을 파는 여성과 그녀에게 기생하는 남편이라는 들병이식의 생계 형태는 도시를 무대로 한 박태원과 이상의 작품들을 통해 유사하게 재연된다. 이 소설들은 경제주권을 가진 카페 여급과 그들에게 생계를 의탁하고 있는 인물들의 구도를 통해 농촌에서와는 달라진 여성노동의 위상, 도시에서 젠더 역학이 작동하는 방식을 드러낸다. 농촌에서 들병이에게 기생하는 그녀의 남편이 여성에 대한 소유권을 주장하며 폭력적이면서도 당당하게 기생(寄生)하는 양상과 달리, 도시의 룸펜들은 자신들의 무능을 수긍하고 그녀들에게 기생하는 대신 그녀들에 대한 소유권이나 목소리를 내세우지 않는 전략을 취한다. 이는 도시의 영원한 타자들이 상호 공존과 공생(共生)을 꿈꾸는 30년대적 방식의 하나라고 할 수 있다. Kim Yu-jeong s literary works are mainly divided into rural and urban background novels. However, Kim Yu-jeong s novels can be read in an integrated and continuous manner, given that it is not a matter of where the background of novel is, but a question of the capitalist life structure of the 1930s. Most of all, Kim Yu-jeong was a member of the literary club “Guin-hoe” in the 1930s, therefore if we read his novels parallel with urban novels written by members of “Guin-hoe”, we can find the common sense of their times and perception they shared. To this end, this article noted the context in which rural wandering people, including Deulbyeong(a wandering woman selling sex), a key material of Kim Yu-jeong s novel, enter the city and become urban poor such as female servants and beggars, who appear in Park Tae-won s Scenes from Cheonggye stream. Meanwhile, the life of Deulbyeong and her husband (parasitic on her) similarly appear in Park Tae-won and Yi Sang s works. Their novels reveal how the status of women s labor changes, and how gender dynamics work in the city through the features and voices of cafe waitress with economic sovereignty and those who depend on them to make a living. Unlike Deulbyeong s parasitic husband, the unemployed (urban lumpen) admits his incompetence and take a strategy of not presenting ownership of them. This is one of the 1930s ways in which the eternal others of capitalist city imagine the dream of mutual coexistence.

〈별들의 고향〉을 통해 본 1970년대 대중 문화와 문학의 존재 양상에 관한 일 고찰
