노견(老犬)에 발생(發生)한 질섬유종(膣纖維腫)의 외과수술(外科手術) 1예(例)

질내(膣內)에 발생(發生)한 종양(腫瘍)으로 인하여 내원(來院)한 13년생(年生) terrier견(犬)에 대하여 회음부(會陰部)를 통한 종탕절제술(腫蕩切除術)을 실시(實施)한 증례(症例)를 보고(報告)한다. 1. 조직학적(組織學的)으로 관찰(觀察)한 결과 섬유종(纖維腫)으로 인정(認定)되었다. 2. 외음순(外陰脣)의 배측연접(背側連接) 상부(上部)의 1cm 폭(幅)을 남겨놓고 질부(膣部)의 배벽(背壁)까지 피부(皮膚) 및 근층(筋層)을 절개(切開)한 후절개창공(後切開創孔)을 통하여 종양물(腫瘍物)들을 절제(切除)한 결과(結果) 외음부(外陰部)의 형태에 변화(變化)를 일으키지 않고 원상(原狀)을 유지(維持)하였다. 3. 절제후(切除後) 현재(現在)까지 (약(約)6개월(個月)) 재발미후(再發微候)는 인정(認定)되지 않았다. A 13 years old terrior dog with vaginal tumor was referred to the animal hospital of Chungnam National University. Resection of vaginal tumor through perineal area was performed. The results obtained were as follows. 1. Histologically, tumor was classified with fibroma. 2. The skin and musculature of the perineal area was incised to the dorsal area of the vaginal wall except I em of width over the dorsal commissure of the vulvar cleft. Through the opening of the wound, pedunculated tumors were amputated and diffused tumors were removed by submucosal resection. After the surgical operation, the original shape of the external area of vulva was not changed. 3. After the resection recurrent sign was not observed up to nowadays for about 6 months.
양이온 교환된 Faujasite 상의 CO 수소반응에 대한 양자화학적 해석

Fe^(n+) 교환된 Faujasite 상에서 진행되는 CO 수소화 반응의 특성을 양자화학적 계산을 통해 해석하였다. Faujasite 내 양이온 자리를 표현하는 cluster모델들에 대한 CNDO/2 계산을 수행하여 전체에너지, LUMO 에너지 및 Wiberg 결합차수값들을 구하였다. 얻어진 전체에너지와 Wiberg 결합차수는 모델분자들의 구조적 안정성을 나타내었다. CO 수소화 반응의 반응기구도 전체에너지를 통해 고찰하였다. 계산된 LUMO 에너지 값을 통해 모델분자들의 L 산성도를 해석하였다. Quantum chemical calculations are used to characterize the hydrogenation of carbon monoxide over Fe^(n+) changed faujasite. The method of CNDO/2 calculations have been applied to cluster models representing canon sites in faujasite to obtain total energies, LUMO energies and Wiberg bond orders. The calculated total energies and bond orders of suggested models showed the structural stabilities of cluster models. The reaction mechanism was also discussed by the total energies calculated from the model. And the calculated LUMO energies can predict L acidities of faujasite by the cluster models.
사슴에서의 Xylazine Hydrochloride 와 Ketamine Hydrochloride 의 진정효과(鎭靜效果)

Xylazine and ketamine hydrochloride were given intramusculary to 32 deers (sika deer 7, red deer 11, elk 6, pere david deer 3, and reindeer 5). Ketamine hydrochloride was injected 30 minutes after administration of xylazine. Sedative action of combined anesthesia of xylazine and ketamine hydrochloride was similar to the sedative effects of xylazine alone. The recovery from sedation of combined anesthesia was remarkably fast comparing with xylazine alone.

This study was performed to evaluate the sedative effect of xylazine for restraint of deers such as sika deer (19 cases), red deer (19 cases), elk (19 cases), pere david deer (13 cases) and reindeer (8 cases), raised in the area of surburb of Seoul, Chungcheongnam-do and Gyungsangbug-do. provinces The results were as follows : 1. The more the dose of xylazine, the earlier the onset of sedation, and the s1ower the recovery time to normal state. 2. The optimal intramuscular dose of xylazine was found to be 0.8~1.4mg per Kg of body weight for sika deer, 0.6~1.0mg for red deer, 1.0~1.4mg for elk, 0.2~0.4mg for pere david deer, and 0.6~1.0mg for reindeer.
고활력우정자(高活力牛精子)의 선택적(選擇的) 분리(分離)에 관한 연구(硏究)

As a fundamental study to increase the reproductive efficiency in cattle, highly motile sperm were separated and collected from raw semen, extended semen and frozen semen by different methods using various concentrations of bovine serum albumin or Tyrode's solution. Various characteristics and light microscopic and electron-microscopic morphology of sperm separated by different methods were compared. The results obtained were as follows; 1. The sperm separated from raw semen using bovine serum albumin showed significantly high value in motility, motile sperm count, percent of normal sperm and progressive motility, as compared with control sperm and revealed the highest sperm recovery rate when separated with 6% bovine serum albumin. 2. The sperm motility, percent of normal sperm and progressive motility of the highly motile sperm frozen after being separated from raw semen with bovine serum albumin, showed significantly high value than those of a control sperm and especially found the highest value when separated with 20% bovine serum albumin. 3. Light-microscopic percent of abnormality was significantly low in the prefrozen and postfrozen highly motile sperm separated with bovine serum albumin, as compared with control sperm. 4. Electron-microscopic finding of the highly motile sperm separated with bovine serum albumin showed low percent of deformity in the dilatation and vesiculation of cell membrane, in dilatation and density loss of acrosome than in those of control sperm. 5. It was impossible to separate the highly motile sperm from frozen semen with bovine serum albumin, but it was possible with Tyrode's solution. 6. Recovery rate of highly motile sperm from raw semen extended semen and frozen semen was the highest when the sperm pellet stood in Tyrde's solution for 80 minutes. 7. The highly motile sperm separated from raw semen, extended semen and frozen semen with Tyrode's solution showed significantly high value in motility, progressive motility and percent of normal sperm, as compared with control sperm. 8. Highly motile sperm, when separated from raw semen, extended semen and frozen semen with Tyrode's solution, showed significantly low percent of microscopic abnormality as compared with control sperm.
Succinylcholine Chloride의 꽃사슴에서의 근이완효과(筋弛緩效果)

This study was performed to evaluate the effect of succinylcholine chloride as a muscular relaxant in deers. Succinylcholine chloride was administered for the harvesting of velvet antler to 62 sika deers which were farmed in the surburb of Seoul. The results obtained were as follows. 1. The more the dose of succinylcholine the earlier the time to immobilization and the slower the time to recover (p<0.05). 2. The optimal intramuscular dose of succinylcholine was found to be 0.11~0.14mg per kg of body weight for sika deer. 3. The time to immobilization revealed the longest An 4~6 years group. The more the age the longer the time to recover (p<0.05).
