2015년 개통 예정인 수서-평택 고속철도는 서울 강남권과 동남부 지역 주민들의 통행시간을 단축시켜 고속철도 이용에 따른 접근성을 향상시키고 더불어 이용수요의 증가가 기대된다. 그러나 고속철도 수서역이 개통된다 하더라도 서울특별시 내에 고속철도 이용을 위한 접근성이 낮은 지역은 존재 할 것이다. 이는 철도 역사입지 선정시 철도 이용자들의 접근성 측면은 고려되지 못해 발생하는 문제점이라고 볼 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 기존 연구된 접근성 산출식을 이용하여 서울역·용산역·수서역의 접근성 지표를 산출해 고속철도 수서역에 대한 접근성 척도를 비교 분석하고, 서울특별시의 고속철도 이용 접근 가능권역을 분석하여 고속철도 이용 접근 가능권역의 변화를 알아보았다. 본 연구를 통해 향후 철도 역사 입지 선정시 접근성을 적용하여 입지 선정에 대한 판별성을 높이는데 기여할 것으로 기대되며, 서울특별시의 고속철도 이용에 대한 접근성 향상 방안의 참고 자료로 사용되어 고속철도 이용에 대한 접근성이 향상되는데 기여할 것으로 기대된다. This study is expected to contribute to determine the location selected for the railway station site selection during future accessibility, And Improving access to High Speed Railway in Seoul, is used as a reference and is expected to contribute to improve accessibility for the use of High Speed Railway.
