A new class of electronically commutated brushless motor, the flux-switching motor(FSM) is gradually emerging in power tools and household appliances especially fan application. This motor offers advantages of both high-power density and relatively high efficiency. This paper presents the principle of the FSM and design of the 12/6 pole FSM drive system. Finally, test results of the prototype motor are provided to verify a validity of the fan application.

This is the research of wind turbine that is designed to supply power to offshore buoy system. In order to reach maximum efficiency in limited space, vertical axis wind turbine was used. Vertical axis wind turbine system that was applied in this research has the form of lift and drag blade combined to achieve high efficiency at both high and low speed. In addition, support system was designed and developed to suit the offshore condition.
전류 신호를 이용한 인버터 구동형 전동기의 고정밀 고장검출 제어

본 논문에서는 오버 샘플링 방법을 사용해서 측정한 전류 신호를 이용하는 유도전동기 고장 검출 시스템에 대해서 제시한다. 인버터 구동형 전동기 드라이브는 전원 구동형(line-driven) 전동기 드라이브와는 다르게 고정자 전류에 많은 고조파 성분을 함유하고 있으며, 결과적으로 고정자 전류를 이용한 고장 진단이 명확하지 않다. 고장 진단을 위해서는 고정밀도(high resolution)를 가지는 전류 신호가 필요하며, 고정밀도의 전류 신호를 얻기 위해서는 LPF(Iow pass filter)나 고정밀 ADC(analog to digital converter)와 같은 추가적인 하드웨어가 필요하다. 그러므로 제안된 오버샘플링 방식은 추가적인 하드웨어가 필요하지 않으므로 인버터 구동형 전동기 드라이브 고장 진단 시스템에 가격 경쟁력을 줄 것으로 기대된다. 제안된 제어 알고리즘의 타당성을 검증하기 위해서, 베어링 고장에 대해서 다양한 실험이 수행되었고, 파크 벼환을 이용한 고장 상황의 전류 스펙트럼을 하였으며, FFT결과와 비교하였다. In this paper, the induction motor fault diagnosis system using current signals which are measured using over-sampling method is presented. In inverter-fed motor drives unlike line-driven motor drives the stator currents are reach in harmonics and therefore fault diagnosis using stator current is not trivial. The current signals for fault diagnosis need precise and high resolution information, which means the diagnosis system demands additional hardware such as low pass filter, high resolution ADC and etc. Therefore, the proposed over-sampling method is expected to contribute to low cost fault diagnosis system in inverter-fed motor drives without the need for any additional hardware. In order to confirm validity of the developed control algorithms, various experiments for bearing faults are tested and the line current spectrum of each faulty situation using Park transformation is compared with the results obtained from fast Fourier transforms.
FEM을 이용한 영구자석형 리럭턴스 동기 전동기의 설계에 대한 연구

In this paper, design of PMA-RSM(permanent magnet assisted reluctance synchronous motor) for washing machine using FEM(finite element method) is presented and algorithms to maximize electromagnetic torque is introduced. FEM has been approached to show the effects of motor parameters on the developed average torque and maximum torque. The designed motor is a combination of salient poles, which is making reluctance torque, and permanent magnet which are located on the air-gap of rotor to get a enough torque during low speed resign. And to verify availability of the proposed PMA-RSM, various simulation are done as compared with bldc motor which is used for washing machine.

In this paper, the induction motor bearing fault diagnosis system using current signals which are measured by over-sampling method is presented. In the case of inverter fed motor drive unlike line-driven motor drive, that make a lot of noise which can cause a wrong fault signals because of PWM(pulse width modulation) voltage. So, the current signals for fault diagnosis need very precise and high resolution information, which means this system demand additional hardware such as low pass filter, high resolution ADC system and so on to use fault diagnosis system. Therefore, the proposed over-sampling method is expected to contribute to low cost fault diagnosis system even though previous inverter fed motor drive without any additional hardware. 다상 유도 전동기(Multi phase induction motor)의 고성능 제어를 수행하기 위해서는 정확한 파라미터 계산이 필수적이다. 특히 전동기의 벡터제어(FOC, Field oriented control)나 직접 토크제어(DTC, Direct torque control)와 같은 고성능 제어 시스템의 경우, 슬립 계산이나 자속관측기 그리고 PI 제어기 게인 추정에서 전동기 상수들이 필수적으로 사용된다. 본 논문에서는 실험용으로 집중권(Concentrated winding) 구조를 가지는 2㎾, 5상 유도전동기를 제작하였으며, 5상 유도전동기 파라미터 추정에 대한 방법을 제시하였다. 일반적으로 다상 유도전동기의 경우 1차 공간 고조파(1st space harmonic) 성분에 대한 파라미터만을 추정하여 제어에 사용하지만, 본 논문에서는 1차 공간 고조파 성분과 3차 공간 고조파(3rd space harmonic) 성분에 대한 파라미터 추정 방법을 제시한다. 결과적으로 제안된 파라미터 추정 방법의 타당성을 확인하기 위해서 설계값과 실험값을 비교하였다.
에이전트 시뮬레이션 기반 인간-기계 협업 시스템에서의 작업 분배 최적화

Modeling and simulation of human-centered systems is a tremendously challenging problem because of the increasing crucial roles of humans in complex systems due to uncertainty and non-deterministic nature of human actions. To aid in designing and developing a control scheme for complex semi-automated systems catering for humans, this research provides a modeling vision and presents an agent-based simulation framework for a human-involved system. With the deterministic nature of automated system control models, stochastic and non-deterministic traits of human decision making processes are considered within the proposed modeling framework. To demonstrate the model’s applicability, human-machine cooperative environment of a material handling example is illustrated. We envision that the proposed agent-based and human-machine collaborative simulation model can provide an effective framework to incorporate humans in designing and implementing complex and multi-scale system control environments
