        Recently, due to localized heavy rain and flash floods in urban areas is becoming more frequent flood damage. To prevent flood inundation damage, to formulate the diverse directions in connection with the drainage system of buildings, roads, sewerage, pump stations, detention (retention) pond, and streams is very important. In addition, it is important for the uniform design criteria, the consistent of hydrologic and hydraulic analysis method, and a flood disaster mitigation systems connected with structural and nonstructural measures. To accomplish this, the method such as installation of storage facilities, infiltration facilities, and underground water tank, the optimal size of the design gutter and grate of the road, ensure the capacity of pumping stations, and the installation of a flood control channel into the deep underground requires comprehensive measures dimension in urban areas.

        The Water is very important resource to man. The riverain and view which are concern with water are important co-ownership resource to territory. We hold consciousness which is keep up and bring up water, and put in practice it. The plan which is make riverain-space, is realization of harmony between the use of water and closed water, detecte of riverain-space, a specific character of territory, which is base on the historical culture of territory with wholesome ecosystem, execute creativity. The improvement of riverain-environment is resuscitate natural sapce which is concern with water, inhabit variety microorganisms, animals and plants, play to conservative function of water quality, integrite and create beautiful riverain with natural disposition of consideration of ecology.

        Effects of PDGF on the Activation of the MyoD Family Gene Expressions in Xenopus laevis

        We report the effects of hPDGF (human Platelet-Derived Growth Factor) on the muscle cell differentiation in Xenopus laevis. Animal caps were excited from stage 8, 12 and 15 embryos and animal cap assay was performed with the treatment of hPDGF for 5 hours. MyoD family genes (MyoD, Myf5, Myogenin) were activated in the PDGF-treated animal caps excited at stage 8 whereas control animal caps are not. Animal caps from stage 12 did not show significant expression of MyoD family genes. However stage 15 animal caps showed increase in another myoD family gene, MRF4. It was reported that the somites have strong expression of PDGF. All these data strongly suggest that PDGF activates MyoD family gene expression spatiotemporally, thus mediate muscle cell differentiation in Xenopus laevis.

      • 수치모형에 의한 연안해역 해수운동의 분석

        확산현상, 표사유동 및 인간의 여러 활동이 실제 연안해역에서 일어나므로 연안해역 해수운동의 물리적 특성을 파악하고 해석하는 것은 중요한 의미를 지닌다. 본 연구에서는 연안해역에서의 파랑변형과 평균해수위 변동 그리고 연안유속 분포양상에 대해 여러 인자들이 미치는 영향을 2차원 유한차분 모형(ADI, Up-wind)을 이용하여 분석하였다. 계산결과로는 수치모형을 해저경사가 일정한 2차원 지형에 적용하여 해저경사, 입사파고, 파향각, 파주기, 마찰계수 및 수평확산계수가 연안해역 특히 쇄파대내에서 파랑변형, 평균해수위 변동 및 연안유속 분포에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. The unproper development of the nearshore zone can enhance the diffusion of pollutant in the nearshore zone resulting in unbalanced sediment budget of beach which causes alteration of beach topography. Therefore, it is required to predict the effects of the envirnmental change quantitatively. In this paper, the depth-averaged and time-averaged energy balance equation is selected to acount for the wave transformation such as refraction, shoaling effect, the surf zone energy disipation, wave breaking index and bore, due to wave breaking in the shore region.(Numerical solutions are obtained by a finite difference method, ADI and Upwind. For the calculation of the wave-induced current, the unsteady nonlinear depth-averaged and time-averaged governing equation is derived based on the continuity and momentum equation for imcompressible fluid.) Numerical solutions are obtained by finite difference method considering influences of factors such as lateral mixing coefficient, bed shear stress, wave direction angle, wave steepness, wave period and bottom slope. The model is applied to the computation of wave transformation, wave-induced current and variation of mean water leel on a uniformly sloping beach.

      • 2次元 移流-分散 모델에 의한 地下水 汚染의 數値解析

        In this study, it aims to analysis the advection-dispersion of groundwater pollution in saturated aquifer and to develop the numerical model for the advection-dispersion equation. At the first, finite element method(Galerkin type) is used to simulation solute transport in Eulerian approach. At the second, Eulerlian-Lagrangian method is used to simulate solute transport which adopts a Lagrangian viewpoint when dealing with the advection terms and an Eulerian viewpoint when dealing with the dispersion terms in the solute transport equations. At the last, the numerical results were compared with analytical solutions. The results are as follows. First, Eulerlian-Lagrangian method is more stable than finite element method for the numerical dispersion and diffusion in two dimensional solute transport equation. Second, in finite element method the RMS errors are increased if the peclet number is greater than two, so that is unstable, when comparing with Eulerlian-Lagrangian method. Third, Especially in the case of the advection-dominated, Eulerlian-Lagrangian method is more stable than finite element method and eliminates numerical dispersion and oscillation for all cases investigated with peclet numbers ranging from 1 two 10.

        건강 걷기 운동이 초등학교 5, 6학년 학생의 체격 · BMI 및 체력에 미치는 영향

        건강 걷기 운동이 초등학교 5, 6학년 학생의 체격·BMI 및 체력에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해서 B광역시 S초등학교 5학년 남학생 57명, 여학생 39명, 6학년 남학생 59명, 여학생 45명, 총 200명을 대상으로 하였다. 걷기 집 단은 걷기 누가기록표상 거리를 기준으로 1집단(500 km 이상 보행), 2집단(200 km 이상 ~ 500 km 미만 보행), 3집 단(200 km 미만 보행)으로 나누었으며, 6개월간 운동을 실시한 후 결과를 분석하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 체격항목인 신장, 체중, BMI에서 5, 6학년 남, 여학생 모든 1, 2, 3집단에서 운동 전·후에 긍정적 변화를 나타냈으며, 체력항목인 50 m 달리기, 윗몸일으키기, 제자리멀리뛰기, 앉아윗몸앞으로 굽히기, 1000 m 오래달리기 및 걷기에서는 1 > 2 > 3 집단 형태로 긍정적 변화가 나타났다. 운동 후 집단별 비교에서는 체격보다는 체력항목에서 1집단이 3집 단보다 긍정적 변화를 나타내었다. The purpose of this study was to compare and analyze the effects of fitness walking exercise on physique, BMI(body mass index) and physical fitness of 5th and 6th grade elementary children. The subjects for this study were 200 children(57 boys and 39 girls in the 5th grade, and 59 boys and 45 girls in the 6th grade) at S Elementary school in Busan. The students were divided into 3 groups. Group 1 walked more than 500 km. Group 2 walked less than 500 km but more than 200 km and Group 3 walked less than 200 km for 6 months. The result of exercising for 6 months affected the physique, BMI and physical fitness of the students analyzed as follows: In physique, height, weight and BMI had significantly positive increased in the 5th and 6th grade boys and girls in all groups as comparing before and after exercising. In physical fitness, there were significantly positive increased on 50 m run, sit-ups, standing long jump, sit-and-reach, 1000 m run-walk had in all groups by stages(group 1 > 2 > 3) as comparing before and after exercising. In compare groups after exercising, there were significantly positive increased in physical fitness on group 1 more than group 3. These results indicate that fitness walking exercise by long time is effective to improve physique and physical fitness in normal elementary school students. However, for fitness walking exercise of the positive effects are necessary to change of teachers and parents personal mind.
