        대전시 지역경제의 투입 - 산출분석에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to build a regional I-O table for Taejon City using a non-survey technique and thereby to analyze structural changes in the economy of Taejon City. As a result, this study has found followings. First, in terms of linkage effects, the industries that have higher investment priorities are in the group of "intermediate-demand type" industries. For the year of 1990, the growing industries were basic metal, electricity and electric equipment, product of pulp and paper, which are mainly in the manufacturing sector. For the year of 1995, however, growing industries were primarily in the service sector such as electricity, gas and water, transport and storage, real estate, and business service. Especially, electricity, gas and water, transport and storage items of the productive service sector would be desirable as strategic industries in Taejon. Second, industries in Taejon could be grouped into four sectors such as "growing type", "recovering type", "depressed type" and "declining type", according to the multiplier effects. The industries that are moving up to the higher ranks in the hierarchy of multiplier effects are found to be basic metal, metal product, computer and office machinery products, and communications. In order to promote the economy of Taejon, it is recommanded that investment should be concentrated on these industries.

        Rapid development of computer-mediated communication (CMC) fosters its uses in education field, especially in classroom. Because the technological and educational traits of CMC are distinguished from other instructional media, its instructional uses should be different as well. Nevertheless, most uses of instructional CMC focus on efficient information delivery as instructional media uses of traditional media. Current emphasis on social learning calls for alternative instructional uses of CMC. CMC can help teachers to create effective social learning environment with its highly interactive and multi-way communication characteristics. According to researches, learning by interactions in CMC environment helps learners to reflect on and make meaning from what they have learned, which is important for knowledge construction. In order to make the most of instructional CMC, teachers are required to design and develop it systematically taking such situational elements as instructional goals, learners' characteristics, learning tasks and evaluation into consideration. In addition, a taecher's role as moderator of learners' interactions is highly stressedl. Young children whose literacy and experience of using CMC is limited tend to be reluctant to learning by interaction with others in CMC environment. Despite the fact that instructional CMC can be conducive to learning and instruction, the effectiveness of instructional CMC depends largely on how it is designed, developed, and implemented. In conclusion, teachers should use CMC as instructional tool to make learning more meaningful to their learners. To achieve this purpose, teachers required to play new roles as designer and moderator of instructional CMC as well as their traditional roles..
