        청소년의 수업대화 참여 요인에 대한 혼합 연구 - 개인, 교사, 부모, 또래 요인을 중심으로 -

        This study investigates the factors influencing adolescent students’ participation in classroom conversations. Quantitative data were collected from 3,429 primary and secondary students using questionnaires, and qualitative data were collected from 25 students using semi-structured interviews to obtain an in-depth understanding of the results of the quantitative research. Using the quantitative data, we explored the structural relationship between peers, parents, teachers, and personal factors and students’ participation in classroom conversations, including questioning, presentations, and a small group discussion. Specifically, we examined the mediating effects of students’ communication attitudes―communication efficacy, enjoyment in school talk , and empathic conversational attitudes. We hypothesized a structural model wherein perceived parents’, peers’, and teachers’ factors influence adolescent students’ communication attitudes and, in turn, students’ communication attitudes influence their participation in classroom conversations. The results showed that both communication efficacy and enjoyment of talking in school had significant positive effects on participation in classroom conversation; the direct effects were .45 and .26, respectively. Communication efficacy had the highest total effect. The indirect effects of mothers’, fathers’, and teachers’ interest in oral communication were .10, .09, and .32, respectively. Empathic conversation attitudes had a mediating effect on the relationship between the interests expressed in conversations and communication efficacy. Following the quantitative data analysis, individual interviews were conducted with 16 active participants and 9 passive participants classified on the basis of the survey results. The findings of this study show that there were differences between active and passive participants in terms of the opportunity for personal talks with teachers, the nature of parents’ interest in oral communication, confidence in public speaking, and the perception of peer responses in the classroom. These results imply that rather than focusing just on communication skills, teachers should use diverse approaches to help students positively perceive their communication capacities and support students to express empathic conversational attitudes. In addition, it is important to show a supportive interest in children speaking at home, and to create a safe and supportive classroom in school.

        Acitretin으로 치료된 다발성 거대각질가시세포종 1예

        Giant keratoacanthoma is an uncommon variant of keratoacanthoma, which may increase to a diameter of several centimeters. Although keratoacanthomas usually resolve spontaneously, giant keratoacanthoma can be invasive and destructive. A 49-year-old man presented with a 5-year history of multiple large hyperkeratotic and crusted plaques and nodules on sun-exposed areas such as the face, ear, hand, and forearm. Some lesions involuted spontaneously, whereas others became rather enlarged. The biopsy specimen revealed horn-filled crater formation, epidermal extending resembling a buttress, and an eosinophilic glassy appearance in the keratinocytic cytoplasm. We treated the lesions with acitretin, and they almost completely resolved after 13 weeks. Here we describe a case of multiple giant keratoacanthoma treated with acitretin.         1970년대 국책영화와 대중영화의 상관성 연구

        1970년대 박정희 체제하의 국책영화와 대중영화는, 일반적으로 공유된 생 각들과는 달리, 실제로 많은 부분 유사한 시각과 형식 패턴들을 공유하고 있 었다. 이 둘의 관계는 상호 대립적이기보다는 상호보완적이다. 국책영화는 상징적 질서 안에서 지배적인 형식의 위치를 점함으로써, 다시 말해 법, 제 도적 뒷받침 속에 하나의 규범으로 위치 지워짐으로써 대중영화에 전체적인 영향력을 가졌다. 또한 국책영화는 대중영화의 문법들을 흡수함으로써 부분 적으로 프로파간다 영화의 한계를 벗어나는 유연성을 가질 수 있었다. 새마을/반공/문예 영화와 같은 국책영화와 호스티스멜로드라마/청년/하이틴 영화 같은 대중영화 양자는, ‘조국근대화를 향한 국가재건’을 위해 정치, 경 제, 사회, 군사 영역과 더불어 문화 영역에 이르기까지, 전일적인 지배체제와 항시적인 예외상태를 구축했던 유신체제의 민족국가적 문화상상이라는 공통 의 지반에서 생성되고 그 특유의 정동을 공유한 특정적인 문화형식이다. 이 시기 국책영화의 하위 범주들과 대중영화의 장르들 간에는 일종의 짝패의 관계가 성립되는 것으로 보인다. 그 중 국책영화인 팔도강산 시리즈와 70년 대 대표적 대중영화인 얄개 시리즈는, 명랑성이라는 국가주의 이데올로기의 가동, 정치기술로서의 이상화를 구현하는 스펙터클과 주체화 전략, 서사 패 턴에서 상호 연관성을 가지고 있다. So-called Park’s regime in 1970’s involved people’s lives and bodies into political sphere to accomplish national development and modernization rapidly. And the dictatorial government in the period carried out various of national policies and social campaigns to mobilize the people. Park’s regime produced many propaganda films for promotion of national policies. Throughout strong supports and various grants for propaganda film making, dictatorial government encouraged filmmakers to make spontaneously pro-governmental films. For this reason, this thesis considers the relation of specific Korean popular films and national policy propaganda films in 70’s that revealed, consciously and unconsciously, the dynamics of political technique, bodies, subjectivation and modernization of those days. Focusing on Yalkae, A Joker In High School (Gogyo-yalgae) gained in popularity at that time and Six Daughters (The Land of Korea/ Paldogangsan), this study examines the intertextuality and interaction of national policy propaganda film and popular film in 1970’s.

        20개 향료 항원의 첩포 검사 결과에 대한 연구

        Background: The TRUE test and Korean standard series are frequently used to determine the cause of allergic contact dermatitis. Although the TRUE test and Korean standard series have some fragrance antigens, they do not include all Korean Food & Drug Administration (KFDA) labeled fragrances. Moreover, there is no report regarding the patch test result of the KFDA-labeled fragrances in Korea. Objective: This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of positive patch test reactions to the KFDA-labeled fragrances and compare the results of the TRUE test or Korean standard series. Methods: The patch test was conducted on patients with suspected allergic contact dermatitis due to fragrances or cosmetics. The fragrance ingredients patch test comprised 20 KFDA-labeled fragrance antigens including fragrance mix (FM)1, FM2, etc. We reviewed the clinical information of patients using the MOAHLFA index. Results: Of 237 patch-tested patients, 21 (8.9%) showed at least 1 positive reaction and 13 (5.5%) showed 2 or more positive reactions. The characteristics of the MOAHLFA index were not related to fragrance allergy. Eleven (4.5%) revealed a disagreement in the patch tests of FM and FM1 ingredients. Of 21 patients with fragrance allergy, 3 (14.3%) reacted solely to FM2. Cinnamyl alcohol and cinnamyl were the most common fragrance allergens. Conclusion: If the TRUE test or Korean standard series is solely employed to determine fragrance allergy, false negative cases and patients with contact allergy to fragrance ingredients not included in the FM1 fragrance can be missed. Therefore, it would be desirable to test the FM and fragrance ingredient antigens simultaneously. (Korean J Dermatol 2016;54(8):622∼627)

        빈곤이 아동의 건강에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 2004년 초등학교 4학년에 재학 중인 아동 1,785명과 그 부모를 대상으로 한 서울아동패널 1~5차년도 자료를 이용하여 빈곤이 아동건강에 미치는 영향을 종단적으로 분석하였다. 아동건강에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되어 온 특성들을 통제한 상태에서 빈곤은 아동의 건강에 부정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 특히 지속빈곤, 일시빈곤, 비빈곤으로 나눠 살펴본 결과 지속빈곤의 아동건강에 대한 악영향이 두드러지게 나타났다. 이러한 빈곤의 아동건강에 대한 악영향은 주로 부모-아동간 유대관계 약화와 부부간의 갈등을 통해 작용하는 것으로 판단된다. 이러한 발견은 빈곤아동의 건강을 향상시키기 위해서는 소득지원 등 경제적 차원의 정책적 개입이 중요하고, 가족 관계에 대한 지지활동도 고려될 필요가 있음을 시사한다. This study analyzed the effect of poverty on children's health, using data from wave 1-5(2004-2008) lf the Seoul Panel Study of Children surveys(SPSC). The analysis results indicated that poverty has a negative effect on child health over time when controlling for potential variables that mediate the family income-child health association. There was also a strong cumulative effect of poverty that explains much of the strengthening association between the length of poverty and child health. The negative effect of poverty on child health could be enhanced through poor mother-child relationship and marital conflict. This finding suggests that programs to improve child health, by implication, will require family level interventions such as increasing income support and improving care-giving and family interaction.

        한국에서 구입한 벨트 버클에서의 니켈과 코발트 검출에 관한 연구

        Background: Among metals, nickel and cobalt are very important contact allergens. They are widely used in products that have direct and prolonged contact with the skin. A frequent cause for nickel-induced allergic contact dermatitis is a nickel-containing belt buckle. The belt buckle showed a relatively high positive rate in the cobalt spot test in our previous study. Studies regarding nickel and cobalt release from belt buckles in Korea have been scarce. Objective: We attempted to assess nickel and cobalt release from belt buckles purchased in Korea by conducting spot tests. Methods: Belt buckles of various brands and prices were randomly purchased in Korea. They were tested using the dimethylglyoxime (DMG) test and cobalt spot test for detection of nickel and cobalt release. Results: A total of 97 belts including 61 brand-name and 36 non-brand-name belts were sampled. Of 91 belt buckles tested using the DMG test, 45 (49.5%) demonstrated a positive reaction. There were statistical differences among the positive rates according to brand/non-brand and price. All belt buckles tested negative for the cobalt spot test. But in the EN1811 test, some belt buckles with a positive reaction in the DMG test showed a low nickel release rate. Conclusion: Although cobalt was not leached, nickel showed a relatively high positive rate in the belt buckles purchased in Korea. Therefore, we suggest that belt buckles purchased in Korea could be a common source of nickel-induced allergic contact dermatitis. (Korean J Dermatol 2016;54(6):438∼443)

        전신성 피지선 모반 1예

        A patient with nevus sebaceous showing linear or wide distribution can present with a triad of nevus sebaceous, seizures, and mental retardation. Most of those cases are classified as sebaceous nevus syndrome. Ophthalmological, skeletal, and other abnormalities may also be present. A male weighing 3,580 g was born at the gestational age of 38 weeks after a normal pregnancy. He was referred to the dermatologic department on the first day of life. He presented with yellow-orange and verrucous plaques on both sides of the temporal areas, face, neck, upper and lower extremities, and trunk. Skin biopsy specimens were taken from the scalp and right lower leg. Histologically, both specimens showed sebaceous gland hyperplasia, absence of mature hair follicles, infundibular cystic structures, and apocrine glands. Brain magnetic resonance imaging, transthoracic echocardiography, abdomen ultrasonography, and routine laboratory investigations were performed and showed nonspecific findings. The patient did not show seizure activity at 19 days of observation, and he is now on close observation. We herein report a very rare case of systematized nevus sebaceous presenting at birth.         아동의 학업성취 발달궤적의 예측요인과 발달산물

        학업성취는 직업과 사회적 지위 등 이후의 생애과정을 예측할 수 있는 중요한 지표이기 때문에 아동청소년기의 중요한 과업 중 하나이다. 기존 연구는 학업성취를 횡단적으로 살펴보거나 원인이나 결과 둘 중 하나로 접근하였지만 본 연구는 학업성취를 발달궤적의 형태로 종단적으로 살펴보고 발달궤적에 영향을 미치는 예측요인과 이의 영향을 받는 향후 발달산물을 동시에 살펴보았다. 서울아동패널 자료로 분석한 결과, 발달궤적은 상위유지형, 중간유지형, 하위유지형, 악화형, 상승형, 혼합형 6가지로 나타났다. 초등학교 4학년 성적이 높았던 학생 중 한 집단은 6학년까지 성적을 그대로 상위에 유지하고 다른 한 집단은 악화되는 차별적인 발달궤적을 가져오는 요인은 빈곤여부, 인지적 자극이었다. 반면 초기 성적이 낮았던 학생 중한 집단은 그대로 낮게 유지하고 다른 한 집단은 성적이 상승되는 차별적인 발달궤적을 가져오는 요인은 자아존중감, 인지적 자극, 긍정적 학교환경이었다. 이러한 발달궤적이 중학교 2학년 시기의 발달산물에는 어떤 영향을 주는지 살펴본 결과, 외현화, 내재화 문제행동에는 별 차이가 없었고 진로 성숙도에는 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 성적의 변화가 있는 집단이 성적의 변화가 없던 안정적 집단보다 진로성숙도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 아동복지적 함의에 대해 논의하였다. Children`s academic achievement is an important predictor of adult occupational and social status. Considering the limitation of cross-sectional studies on children`s educational attainment, this study examines the developmental trajectories of children`s academic achievement during 3 years between the 4th grade and 6th grade using the data from the Seoul Panel Study of Children(SPSC). We identify predictors that account for the group membership of each child`s developmental trajectory, and explore how these groupings of developmental trajectories affect children`s development outcomes when they are 2nd grade middle school students. We identified 6 academic achievement trajectory groups: constant-high, constant-moderate, constant-low, downward, upward, and mixed groups. The results of multinominal logistic regression analysis indicated that whether the child was living in poverty and whether they had cognitive stimuli were determinants of downward vs. constant-high developmental trajectory groups. The upward group was distinguished from the constant-low group by self-esteem, cognitive stimuli, and positive school environments. These groups of developmental trajectories did not show significant differences in internalizing and externalizing behavior problems, but demonstrated significant differences in career maturity in 2nd grade middle school. Practice implications for youth welfare from the analytic results are discussed to promote academic achievement.
