This work describes a basic concept of network based battle management system in AMD(Air & Missile Defense). The AMD operation inherently is joint concept that each single service do not satisfy the requirements of AMD theater operation. It is integrated system of joint forces that is operated simultaneously. The analysis of the future battlespace and air & missile threat is shown. From this analysis the prospective scheme of network based battle management system in building Korean future AMD is presented.
증례 : Simvastatin 복용 중인 환자에서 Clopidogrel 병합요법 후 발생한 횡문근 융해증 1예

Simvastatin은 HMG-CoA reductase 억제제로 혈중 지질을 개선해서 관상동맥 질환의 예방에 효과적이지만, 횡문근 융해증이란 중요한 합병증이 일어날 수 있다. 저자들은 simvastatin과 clopidogrel 병합 요법 후 횡문근 융해증이 발생하였고, 약물 중단 후 호전된 1예를 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하며, simvastatin과 clopidogrel 병합 요법시 횡문근 융해증 발생에 대한 주의를 권유한다. Simvastatin, the 3-hydroxy-3methylglutaryl coenzyme (HMG-CoA) reductase inhibitor is effective in reduction the risk of coronary event and are generally well tolerated. Rhabdomyolysis is uncommon complication of this drug. We describe a case of rhabdomyolysis associated with concomitant use of simvastatin and clopidogrel. Rhabdomyolysis occurred 30 days after clopidogrel added to a chronic stable dose of simvastatin, and resolved after discontinuation of simvastatin and clopidogrel. We recommend careful monitoring when clopidogrel is given to patients receiving simvastatin. (Korean J Med 69:S906-S909, 2005)

This work describes the possibility of ABL(Airborne Laser) applications to the Korean missile defense. The missile defense system is the multilayered defense system that consists of shooters, sensors and BM/C4I. The ABL is the missile defense system of boost phase. It is placing a high energy, megawatt class chemical oxygen iodine laser and highly sophisticated beam control/fire control and battle management systems on a modified Boeing 747-400F aircraft to detect, track and destroy ballistic missiles in their boost phase of flight. This work analysis the ballistic missile's threat of North Korea and the flight trajectory for the SCUD missile that is cut-off by the ABL. From this analysis the possibility of the ABL applications to the Korean missile defense is presented.
Public Employees` Perceived Effectiveness of Performance Management System in Korean Government

본 연구는 11개 정부기관의 공무원 828명을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 토대로 성과관리시스템에 대한 효과성 인식에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 분석하였다. 자료의 분석결과, 성과관리시스템에 대한 신뢰가 공무원의 성과관리에 대한 효과성에 가장 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 파악되었다. 또한, 인적자원관리와의 통합, 정보시스템의 수준, 조직 및 관리자의 지원, 비계층적인 조직문화가 성과관리 효과성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 파악되었다. 반면에, 성과관리제도유형의 다양성은 성과관리제도의 효과성에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 파악되었다. Based on a field survey of 828 Korean central government employees in eleven agencies, this study explores the factors that influence public employees` perceived benefits of performance management system (PMS). Trust of performance management systems is revealed as the most consistent positive influence on public employees` perceived effectiveness of PMS. Human resource management (HRM) integration, information systems, support of leaders and the organization, and non-hierarchical culture are consistently positive influences on the perceived effectiveness of PMS. The empirical analysis also reveals that different types of PMS do not influence the perceived effectiveness of PMS.

This work describes the ventilative NBC CPS(Nuclear Biological and Chemical Collective Protection Systems). The operational requirements of NBC CPS is derived using systems engineering approach. The NBC CPS system operational architecture which describes the operational concept of NBC CPS is proposed using a computer aided systems engineering tool.

Four furocoumarins and two dihydrofuranocoumarin glycosides have been isolated from the benzene-soluble and butanol-soluble portions of the roots of Ostericum koreanum Kitagawa, respectively. Four furocoumarins have been determined as imperatorin, isoimperatorin, oxypeucedanin and oxypeucedanin hydrate, and two dihy drofuranocoumarin glycosides determined as marmesinin and 4`-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl 3`-hydroxymarmesin on the basis of spectral data and physico-chemical evidence.

A systems engineering is an interdisciplinary engineering management process that evolves and verifies an integrated, life-cycle balanced set of system solutions that satisfy customer needs. This work describes analysis of. the defense R & D programs applied systems engineering approach. FA-18E/F and NSSN defense acquisition programs are adopted for the case study. Those two programs is performed by IPPD, which is one of the systems engineering management techniques. From the analysis results, implementation considerations of domestic defense R & D programs are presented.
