        횡성 섬강 상류의 어류상

        Fish fauna was investigated from June to November 1993 at the upper Sum river in Hoengsong. Form of stream was Aa and Aa-Bb, and pH, DO and BOD were 7.3∼7.9, 8.8∼10.2mg/l and 1.3∼1.5mg/l. The collected fishes were classified twenty nine species belonging to twenty two genera and seven family, of witch twelve species were endemic species of Korea. Dominant species was Zacco temmincki and subdominant species was Coreoleuciscus splendus. zacco platypus, Microphysogobio longidorsalis and Acheilognathus signifer were also numerous. Scarce Species were Hemibarbus labeo, Cobitis lutheri and the like. The species diversity index, dominance index and evenness index were 2,552, 0.384 and 0.758.

        줄납자루 , Acheilognathus yamatsutae ( Cyprinidae ) 의 비늘 생성과 형태

        This study was described squamation chronology and scale morphology of the bitterling, Acheilognathus yamatsutae. The first scale appeared on the caudal peduncle region at 11.4±0.18mm and the final squamation was completed at 16.5±0.34mm in standard length. The height of the scales on anterior region was longer than width of it and the height increased to predorsal region and decreased in posterior region. The largest scales were center of lateral line scales and the number of circuli in each scale increased proportionately to the height to scale. Regeneration scales were average 20.9% in lateral line, 3 rows of above the lateral line and 2 rows of below the lateral line scales. The scales below the lateral line were observed many regeneration scales than the scales above the lateral line.

        줄납자루 , Acheilognathus yamatsutae 의 지리적 변이 및 Acheilognathus cyanostigma 와의 형태비교

        In this study the geographic variation of Acheilognathus yamatsutae from five river system in Korea was investigated and a morphological comparison between A. yamatsutae and Acheilognathus cyanostigma was conducted. Morphological variation of A. yamatsutae was very diverse among populations. Of all characters, barbel length showed great difference. Barbel length of the Nagtong river population was the shortest of all populations. There were no morphological difference between sex. A. yamatsutae was clearly discriminated from A. yamatsutae by the following characters: barbel length, egg shape and the number of scales above lateral line. In cluster analysis, A. yamatsutae divided into two groups. The one is composed of the Nagtong river population and the other is composed of the Han, Kum, Somjin, Youngsan river populations. A. yamatsutae from Japan showed very distant relationship with A. yamatsutae from Korea.

        홍천강에 서식하는 쉬리 , Coreoleuciscus splendidus Mori ( Cyprinidae ) 의 생태

        This study was made to expand the knowledge of the ecology of Coreoleuciscus splendidus Mori in the upper part of Hongchon river from Feb.1989 to Oct.1990. This species was found at the upper and middle parts of stream in clear and rich dissolved-oxygen water and the habitat was stones and pebbles bottom. The flow velocity was 57±23cm per second and the water depth was 23±6cm. The major cohabitation fish were Zacco temmincki, Pungtungia herzi and Coreoperca herzi. The body length frequencies in this population indicated that 35-5Smm group is one year old, 55-7Omm group is two years old and the longer group than 70mm is regarded as being over the three years old. The male and female individuals became sexually mature over the two years old and the spawning season was from early April to late May with water temperature 10-l8˚C and the properous season was early May in 15˚C. The mean number of eggs was 1132 and the eggs were sink, adhesive stickiness, opaque and the size after absorption of water were 2.24±0.07mm, and the micro-villi were dense on the surface of the egg under the SEM microscope. The sex ratio of male and female was 1.73: 1, and the contents of stomach were almost aquatic insects including Baetis sp.

        The spawning condition was investigated of the bitterling, Acheilognathus yamatsutoe Mori in aquariums. Sexual responses in male and female bitterlings were very sensitive to the mussel rather than the other sex. But spawning behavior was shown ouly when all of the male, the female and the mussel were present. And the sexual response was not shown at all when there was no direct contact with the live mussel.

      • 어류의 패내 산란과 석패과 유생의 어체부착

        This study was carried out to determine the attachment parts and rates on the host fish and the successive stages of the glochidial encystment. A scanning electron microscope observation of the glochidia, the larvae of freshwater brivalve, Anodonta arcaeformis flavotincta, on the host fish, Carassius auratus, was conducted. The attachment rates on the host fish were 30.1%, 22.3% on the pectoral, the caudal, and the pelvic and anal fin, respectively. Glochidia, once attached to the host, have become encysted within 27 hours. The glochidia in fish tissues have sloughed between 13 days and 15 days when the water temperature was 16℃ in laboratory. During encystment, the epithelial cells of the host fish migrated actively toward the attached glochidia and covered them. In the encystment process, the encysted tissues in the host have become loose in seven days and exposured a pat of the glochidium in eight days after infection. No changes of the glochidial size have found before attachment and after sloughing.

        석패과 유생의 어체부착과 어류의 피낭형성

        석패과(Unionidae) 패류 유생의 어체부착과 이에 따른 어류의 피낭형성에 관하여 조사 연구한 결과는 다음과 같다. 말조개와 펄조개 유생의 형태는 모두 둥근 삼각형으로 유생사(larval thread), 갈고리(hook), 작은갈고리(hooklet), 감각모(sensory hair) 등의 부착기관을 가지고 있었다. 어류와 식성이나 서식장소에 관계없이 유생의 부착과 어류의 피낭 형성을 관찰할 수 있었다. 줄납자루에 패류 유생을 부착시킨 결과 가슴지느러미, 등지느러미, 아가미, 꼬리지느러미 등의 순으로 높은 부착률을 보였으며 26±1℃의 온도 조건하에서 6-10시간만에 피낭이 완성되어 유생을 완전히 둘러쌌으며 5-6일째에 피낭이 느슨해지면서 유생이 탈락하였다. Morphology of glochidia of two species of Unionidae mussels, Unio douglasiae and Anodonta woodiana were studied based on SEM, and their attachment on Acheilognathus yamatsutae(Acheilognathinae) was observed in the experimentally infected fishes. The glochidia were round-triangle in shape and possessed larval threads, hooks, hooklets, and sensory hairs. Glochidal attachment and cyst formation of the fish were observed without regard to feeding habit and habitat. Density of glochida on the fish (Acheilognathus yamatsutae) was in the order of pectoral fin, dorsal fin, gill and caudal fin. The host fish became encysted about 5-10 hours to the glochidia, and the glochidia detached about 5-6 days after attachment at water temperature 26±1℃.

        줄납자루 , Acheilognathus yamatsutae(Cyprinidae)의 패류 체내 산란

        줄납자루, Acheilognathus yamatsutae의 패류 체내 산란에 관하여 1990년부터 1992년까지 강원도 춘천시에 위치한 의암호에서 조사 연구하였다. 본 종은 패류 체내 산란시 조개의 크기에 관계없이 산란숙주로 선호하는 종이 있었으며 선호하는 종내에서는 큰 개체를 선택하였다. 산란숙주로는 석패과의 말조개, 작은말조개, 곳체두드럭조개, 작은대칭이 등의 순으로 선호하였으며 석패과의 도끼조개, 재첩과, 산골과의 패류에는 산란을 하지 않았다. 조개 안의 어란과 자어는 대부분 내반새에 위치하였고 말조개에서 발견되는 어란과 자어의 수는 1-35개(마리) 사이였으며 한 개체당 평균 3.6개(마리)를 보유하고 있었다. 본 종은 비교적 부화가 빠르고 부화 직후에 이미 표피상돌기와 익상돌기가 생성되어 있었으며 꼬리운동이 활발하였는데 이는 조개의 반새안에서 토출되는 것을 막기 위한 방편으로 생각된다. Spawning of the bitterling, Acheilognathus yamatsutae into the mussel was studied from 1990 to 1992 in Lake Uiam, Korea. This fish preferred to spawn in certain mussel species such as Unio douglasiae, U. douglasiae sinuolatus, Lamprotula gottschei and Anodonta arcaeformis flavotincta in order of preference. Within the same species of mussel, they preferred the larger size. Eggs and larvae were commonly located in the inner demibranch of mussels. Average number of eggs or larvae per mussel was 3.6(ranged from 1 to 35). The eggs of the bitterling were hatched out within 41 hours when water temperature remained over 20℃ and the larvae already possessed minute tubercles on the skin and yolk projections to prevent themselves being washed out from mussels.
