본 연구는 인증 사회적기업의 경제적·사회적 성과지표를 활용하여 유형화를 시도하고, 통계적 적합도 지수를 통해 성과별 유의한 잠재유형을 탐색하는 것이 목적이며, 성과 유형간 조합을 분석하였다. 연구대상은 조상미 외(2011) 연구에 참여한 사회적기업 중 현재까지 운영되고 있는 기업이며 2011년 이후 6년간의 성과를 조사하여 분석하였다. 사회적기업의 경제적 성과인 매출액의 변화유형을 탐색한 결과 잠재유형이 세 개인 최적 모형을 도출하였으며 ‘매출성숙형’, ‘매출증가형’, ‘매출평균형’으로 명명하였다. 이때 매출평균형이 가장 많은 분포를 보이며, 운영기간이 타유형에 비해 짧은 것으로 나타났다. 사회적 성과인 취약계층고용율의 경우 세계의 최적모형이 탐색되었다, ‘고용평균형’, ‘고용감소형’, ‘고용증가형’으로 분류되었다. 사회적 성과는 고용평균형이 가장 많이 나타났으며, 다른 유형에 비해 매출액이 높은 것이 특징이다. 또한 사회적기업 경제적 성과의 변화유형에 따른 사회적 성과 변화유형의 분포인 3×3의 교차유형을 살펴보았다. 교차유형에서는 ‘매출평균형·고용평균형’, ‘매출평균·고용감소형’이 주를 이룬다. 이를 통해 사회적기업의 유형의 특징을 알아보고 지원 제도의 현실성 제고를 위한 정책 제안과 실행에 있어 필요한 시사점을 제시하였다. In this study, various performance types, the combinations of the performance types for growth were investigated to suggest viable policy recommendations for the sustainable growth of social enterprises. The data of the economic and social performance of social enterprises from 2011 to 2016 were obtained and the changes were investigated. Among total of 235 social enterprises that participated in Cho et al, 2011, the research subjects were 164 social enterprises, which were still being operated in March, 2018. The performance of 6 years, since 2011, was surveyed, and total of 104(recovery factor: 69.8%) of social enterprises were analyzed using the growth mixture model, cross tabulation. First of the results, the latent trajectory classes of sales, which are of economic performance, were investigated through the analysis of growth mixture model. The optimal model including three latent classes was adopted. The three latent classes were named as `mature sales type', `growing sales type', and `average sales type'. Second, the latent trajectory classes of employment rate, which are of social performance, were investigated. The optimal model including three latent classes was adopted. The three latent classes were named as `average employment type', `declining employment type', and `increasing employment type'. Third, cluster in 3 x 3 tabulation, which is a distribution of the latent trajectory classes of social performance based on the latent trajectory classes of economic performance of social enterprises, was looked into.

지역 기반 사회적경제의 장소성 형성과정 탐색: 서울시 사례연구

본 연구는 지역 내 선순환 경제를 하나의 목표로 삼는 사회적경제 조직이 서울에서 어떻게 주민과 관계를 맺고 지역사회 내에서 토착화 되는지 탐색하였다. 이를 위해 지역 기반의 사회적경제 조직 사례를 통해 사회적경제의 장소성 형성과정의 공통적 특성을 밝히고자 하였으며, 장소성을 구성하는 여러 요소와 다양한 하위단위 분석을 실시하는 임베디드 사례연구(embedded case study)를 진행하였다. 서울시의 5대 권역에 뿌리내린 6개 사회적경제 조직이 대상 사례이며 지역에서 오랜 역사를 지니거나 지역을 기반으로 설립된 조직이 선정되었다. 사례분석 결과 현재위치와 외부관계, 장소기반의 일과 사람, 장소에 필요한 정책제도, 장소를 만들어주는 분위기와 문화, 체험과 경험으로 기억되는 장소, 지역 기반의 장소로 뿌리내림 등 6개의 장소성 속성이 공통적으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 사회적경제 조직이 지역에 깊이 정착할 수 있는 정책 제안과 실행에 있어 필요한 시사점을 제시하였다. This study explored the placefulness of how social economy organizations settled in Seoul. It looked at how social economy organizations affect the region and how they give experiences and memories to residents. In the case of regional-based social economy organization, we explored the common characteristics of the process of forming the placefulness of social economy organizations. Through the embedded case study, various factors and various sub-units were analyzed. The selected cases are six social economy organizations rooted in five major regions of Seoul, and organizations with a long history in the region or established based on the region were selected. As a result of the case analysis, 6 properties of placeness appeared, and 12 dimensions of placeness were revealed. Based on this finding, suggested policies and implications for social economy organizations to settle well in the region.

사회적 기업 인지도와 사회적 자본의 사회적 기업 신뢰에 대한 효과 분석

지난 10년 간 한국의 사회적 기업은 빠르게 성장했으며 향후 한국사회의 다양한 위기에 대응하는데 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다. 국가·시장·시민사회의 협력 속에서 사회적 기업이 실질적으로 기여하기 위해서는 지역주민들의 협력과 참여가 중요하다. 그렇다면 한국에서 사회적 기업을 신뢰하는 사람 누구인가? 저자들은 Top-of-mind awareness 방식으로 측정한 사회적 기업 인지도와 사회적 자본의 사회적 기업에 대한 신뢰에의 효과를 분석했다. 분석결과 사회적 기업의 이름을 알거나 사회적 자본을 보유한 주민들이 사회적 기업을 더 많이 신뢰하는 것으로 확인되었다. 분석결과에 따라 사회적 기업 인지도를 확산하고 지역사회 사회적 자본을 확충할 필요가 있음을 제언하였다. There have been widespread beliefs that social enterprises positively impact our local communities. These beliefs could lead local residents as stakeholders to be involved in community-based social enterprises in order for the sustainable development of their communities. Korean Social Enterprise Promotion Agency have shown that the distribution of these organizations varies considerably from one community to the next. These differences could lead to the disparity of the public perceptions on social enterprises and innovation across communities. A careful review of the previous studies reveals some individual-level factors and social capitals affect the public attitudes toward social enterprises. Thus, the purpose of this study is to explore what factors and social capital affect the public views towards social enterprises after developing the conceptual dimensions and measurement scales. Using data from a nationwide online survey of public perception toward social enterprises in South Korea (N=600), the author will find influential variables including individual-and community-level variables and social capital on public attitudes on social enterprises.
