        The muscle protein polymorphisms in korean native cattle, holstein, and imported beefs from Australia and U.S.A. was investigated to identify breed-specific muscle proteins, especially korean native cattle specific proteins. Muscle proteins was divided into three fractions; fraction A which contained mainly blood proteins, fraction B which contained mainly enzyme and soluble proteins and fraction C which contained mainly structural proteins. On the analysis of fraction A by SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, the molecular weight (mw) 218k of protein band was appeared in only imported beefs from Australia not in korean native cattle, holstein, and imported beefs from U.S.A. Similarly, the mw 117k of protein band was appeared in only imported beefs from U.S.A. not in korean native cattle, holstein, and imported beefs from Australia. But the mw 35k of protein band was appeared in korean native cattle, holstein and imported beefs from Australia not in U.S.A. In fraction B, the mw 92k of protein band was appeared in only imported beefs from U.S.A. not in korean native cattle, holstein, and imported beefs from Australia. However, the mw 33k of protein band was appeared in korean native cattle, holstein and imported beefs from Australia not in U.S.A. In fraction C, the mw 155k of protein band was appeared in korean native cattle, holstein and imported beefs from Australia not in U.S.A. However the mw 120k of protein band was appeared in only imported beefs from U.S.A. not in korean native cattle, holstein, and imported beefs from Australia. Similarly the mw 110k of protein band was appeared in only imported beefs from Australia not. in korean native cattle, holstein, and imported beefs from U.S.A. Furthermore, the mw 54k and 28.5K of protein bands were not appeared in only imported beefs from Australia but in korean native cattle, holstein, and imported beefs from U.S.A on the analysis of muscle proteins by secondary electrophoresis, lot of breed-specific muscle proteins were identified. Therefore, the results of this study suggested that the breed-specific beefs can lie identified by the analysis of muscle proteins.

        시스템 다이내믹스를 이용한 간호단위별 간호인력 산정에 관한 연구

        Purpose: The purpose of the study was to forecast manpower by building the nursing manpower-staffing model(surgical-medical nursing unite). Method: The system dynamics approach was adapted to build a simulation model for calculating medical-surgical nursing manpower-staffing. The model was built up on Venism 5.0b DSS. Result: The results in the basic circumstance are in following. The level of nursing service quality, patientsatisfaction, and nurse job satisfaction maintains higher at medical-surgical nursing unit of the tertiary hospitals with the ratio of bed to nurse 2.5:1-3.0:1 than at any other situations. The level of nursing service quality, patient satisfaction, and nurse job satisfaction maintains higher at madical nursing unit of the secontary hospotals with the ratio of bed to nurse 3.0:1 and at surgical nursing unit of the secondary hospitals with the ratio of bed to nurse 3.0:1-3.5:1 than at any other situations in the fundamental from. The results in the simulation circumstance are in following, As author raises the operating rate of bed into 95-100%, and cut skilled nursing staff down, the level of nursing-service quality, patient satisfaction, and nurse job satisfaction drops slightly. Conclusion: In terms of economic efficiency on tertiary hospotals, the ratio of bed to nurse for the best reasonable medical-surgical nursing manpower-staffing is 3.0:1. In terms of economic efficiency on secondary hospitals, the ratio of bed to nurse for the best reasonable medical nursing manpower-staffing is 3.0:1 and surgical nursing manpower-staffing is 3.5:1

      • 맥주효모 슬러리의 급여가 육계의 성장과 혈액 성상에 미치는 영향

        맥주공장에서 얻어지는 맥주효모 슬러리를 육계사료의 첨가제로서 이용하기 위하여 8$0^{\circ}C$에서 건조하였으며, 육계사료에 0%, 2%, 4% 첨가ㆍ급여하여 육계의 성장과 장기발달 및 혈액 성상에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 4% 맥주효모 슬러리의 첨가시 육계의 성장률이 9% 향상되었고(P<0.05) 사료 효율은 8% 개선되었다(P<0.05). 사료섭취량은 전처리구간에 차이가 없었다. 또한 전 처리구간에서 육계의 간장, 심장 및 복강지방의 무게에는 차이가 없었으나, 체중 대비 간장 무게의 비율에 있어서는 4% 첨가구에서 감소되었다. 맥주효모 슬러리의 첨가가 혈중 glucose 농도에는 영향을 미치지 못하였으나, 혈중 triglyceride 농도에 있어서는 4% 첨가구에서 31% 유의적으로 감소하였다.(P<0.05). 특히 맥주효모 슬러리의 첨가가 육계의 혈청 중 total-cholesterol 농도에는 영향을 미치지 않았으나, HDL 농도에 있어서는 2%와 4% 첨가구에서 대조구에 비하여 각각 33%와 26% 증가하여(P<0.05), HDL/TC의 비율을 향상시켰다(P<0.05). 본 연구의 결과는 맥주효모 슬러리의 첨가가 육계의 성장 및 사료효율을 개선시켜 육계의 사료 첨가제로서 이용가능성을 확인시켜 주었으며, 특히 혈중에서는 triglyceride 농도를 감소시키고, HDL 농도 및 HDL/TC의 비율을 증가시켜 체내 지방대사에 영향을 미친다는 것을 보여준다. This study was conducted for a period for 5 weeks in order to evaluate effects of brewer's yeast slurry(BYS) on the growth performance, organ development and blood composition of broiler chicks. A total number of 84 one day old broiler chicks were allocated to one of three supplemented diets: 0%(control), 2% and 4% BYS. Body weight gain and feed efficiency of chicks fed the diet supplemented with 4% BYS significantly was increased by 9% and 8%, respectively, compared to the control diet(P<0.05). The BYS supplements did not affect weights of liver, heart and abdominal fat, and their ratios per body weight. However, in 4% BYS supplement group, ratio of liver to body weight significantly decreased(P<0.05) by 12%, compared to the control. The supplement of 4% BYS decreased the concentration of triglyceride by 31%, and increased the concentration of high density lipoprotein(HDL) by 26%, compared to the control(P<0.05). These results indicated that the supplementation of 4% BYS in diet can improve body weight gain as well as feed efficiency, and increased the concentration of blood HDL, and ratio of HDL to total-cholesterol of broiler chicks.
