        보안정책을 표현하는 침입차단시스템의 지식기반 모델링 및 시뮬레이션

        It is quite necessary that an organization's information network should be equipped with a proper security system based on its scale and importance. One of the effective methods is to use the simulation model for deciding which security policy and mechanism is appropriate for the complex network. Our goal is to build a foundation of knowledge-based modeling and simulation environment for the network security. With this environment, users can construct the abstracted model of security mechanisms, apply various security policies, and quantitatively analyze their security performance against possible attacks. In this study, we considered security domain from several points of view and implemented the models based on a systematic modeling approach. We enabled the model to include knowledge in modular fashion and provided well-defined guidelines for transforming security policy to concrete rule set.

        제조공정 개선을 위한 생산계획 평가 시뮬레이션

        A manufacturing environment without a computerized system causes numerous problems, since many important decisions are made based on the experience of veteran staffs. Especially, when a strategy for the improvement of manufacturing efficiency is considered, it is hard to predict the effect of the strategy. A solution to the problem without large investment of the computerized system is the simulation study. This paper shows the modeling and simulation based on DEVS(Discrete Event System Specification). Two types of models are implemented, one for representing the current production strategy and the other for the new strategy. The new strategy is expressed as priority rules within the model. The process in concern is the metal grating production process in which the size of the group, for applying a specific cutting and scheduling strategies, is one of the important factors in improving the production efficiency. Some reliable criteria for the evaluation related to the production effeciency are established from the simulation study.

      • 블랙보드 구조의 그레이팅 스케쥴링 시스템에의 적용

        본 논문은 제조 공정의 생산관리 시스템을 개발함에 있어서, 생산 공정상의 스케쥴링 문제를 해결할 경우 시스템내의 여러 하위 모듈간의 협동을 통해서 처리하게 되는데, 이런 경우 각 모듈간의 원활한 협동을 위한 연동 방법을 정의하여야 한다. 이러한 연동 문제를 해결하기 위해서 분산 인공지능의 분산문제 해결 방법 중의 하나인 블랙보드 구조(Blackboard Architecture)를 사용하였다. 시스템의 문제 해결 과정을 여러 단계로 나뉘어진 공유 작업 공간(Shared Work Space)인 블랙보드에 나타내었으며, 구성 모듈간의 통신은 블랙보드를 통해서 이루어진다. 문제 해결의 처리 절차는 블랙보드의 구성요소중의 하나인 제어기에 지식의 형태로 정의되어 있고, 제어기는 이 지식을 바탕으로 모듈간의 실행 순서를 제어한다. 이와 같이 블랙보드 구조를 적용하여 하위 모듈간의 협동시에 발생하는 연동 문제를 해결하였으며 또한 시스템의 수정 및 확장에 대처 가능한 환경을 구성하였다. In the development of a production process scheduling system a collaboration method must be defined for the cooperation among submodules within the system. The blackboard architecture is exploited for solving the collaboration problem, which is one of the problem solving architecture that belongs to the distributed artificial intelligence. The dynamic states of the problem solving processes are presented in the hierarchically constructed shared working memory called as a blackboard. The communication for the collaboration is done through the blackboard. The problem solving steps are contained in the global controller, one of a component that consists the blackboard architecture, as knowledge. The global controller activates proper submodules based on the knowledge. By applying the blackboard architecture the collaboration problem among submodules in the grating production process scheduling system (GPSS) has been solved as well as the system became adaptable to the future modifications and expansions.

      • 이종의 소프트웨어 시스템들의 연동을 지원하기 위한 블랙보드 구조의 적용

        본 논문에서는, 이형질의 분산된 소프트웨어 시스템들의 연동을 위해 각 시스템을 담당하는 에이전트들을 할당하고 블랙보드 구조를 이용하여 그들간의 협력을 제공하는 시스템을 제안하였다. 이 시스템을 분산 컴퓨팅 환경의 하나인 멀티미디어 원격교육 시스템에서 이미 개발되어 있는, 특성이 서로 다른 소프트웨어 서브 시스템들의 연동을 지원하는데 적용하였다. 각 에이전트들에 대한 메타지식을 제어기에 분리 시킴과 더불어 제어 지식과 문제해결 지식을 명확히 분리하여 분산, 협조형 문제해결의 기존 시스템들이 갖는 문제점을 개선하고 기존의 소프트웨어 시스템들의 재사용성을 높였다. This paper presents a multiagent system, based on the blackboard architecture and its mechanism of coordination and communication, developed for the collaboration of distributed heterogeneous software systems. The system provides the environment fur the collaboration among pre-existing heterogeneous subsystems within the context of multimedia distance education application. The meta-knowledge for each agent is isolated in the global controller and the control knowledge and the problems-solving knowledge are clearly separated within the syitem. As a result, the coordination problem that typically found in the conventional distributed problem solving systems are greatly enhanced and the reusability of the pre-developed systems are improved.
