This study was performed to evaluate strength of underwater concrete patching materials. Laboratory experimentals were conducted by compressive strength and bond strength. Test results showed that patching materials were satisfied quality criterion of standard.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate characteristics of antiwashout underwater concrete for repair of underwater dam facility. Laboratory experimentals were conducted by air content, slump flow, pH, turbidity and compressive strength for evaluation of antiwashout underwater concrete. Test results showed that A2 has good properties in all respects.

This study was performed to evaluate durability of underwater dam concrete patching materials. Laboratory experimentals were conducted by bond strength, abrasion resistance, chloride ion penetration. Test results showed that patching materials were relatively good performance except chloride ion penetration.

This study investigated about dowel bar retrofit and evaluated bond property of GFRP dowel bar. Repeated pull-out test put into operation for bond property of GFRP dowel bar. As the result of test, GFRP dowel bar indicated lower bond stress and grew less and less of bond stress after repeated pull-out test. Therefore, GFRP dowel bar indicated less binding force at joined concrete pavement.

This study evaluated the performance of shotcrete with various mineral admixtures, such as metakaolin and granulated blast furnace slag. The properties of the high-performance shotcrete investigated its chloride-ion penetration, as well as freezing and thawing, and neutralization tests using metakaolin and granulated blast furnace slag. The test results indicated that high-performance shotcrete with metakaolin and granulated blast furnace slag had better long-term performance, as compared to conventional shotcrete.
