Group Contribution Method 및 Support Vector Regression 기반 모델을 이용한 방향족 화합물 물성치 예측에 관한 연구

To simulate a process model in the field of chemical engineering, it is very important to identify the physical properties of novel materials as well as existing materials. However, it is difficult to measure the physical properties throughout a set of experiments due to the potential risk and cost. To address this, this study aims to develop a property prediction model based on the group contribution method for aromatic chemical compounds including benzene rings. The benzene rings of aromatic materials have a significant impact on their physical properties. To establish the prediction model, 42 important functional groups that determine the physical properties are considered, and the total numbers of functional groups on 147 aromatic chemical compounds are counted to prepare a dataset. Support vector regression is employed to prepare a prediction model to handle sparse and high-dimensional data. To verify the efficacy of this study, the results of this study are compared with those of previous studies. Despite the different datasets in the previous studies, the comparison indicated the enhanced performance in this study. Moreover, there are few reports on predicting the physical properties of aromatic compounds. This study can provide an effective method to estimate the physical properties of unknown chemical compounds and contribute toward reducing the experimental efforts for measuring physical properties.

RAW 264.7 대식세포에서 LPS로 유도된 NF-κB signaling pathway 내 Causonis japonica (Thunb.) Raf. 추출물의 항염증 효능 평가

한국생명공학연구원으로부터 분양받은 해외생물소재의 항염증 활성을 탐색 후 항염증 효능이 탁월한 CJE를 시료로 선별하였다. CJE는 세포 독성이 나타나지 않는 농도에서 LPS에 의한 iNOS의 발현과 NO의 생성을 유의적으로 억제하였으나, COX-2의 발현에는 영향을 미치지 못했다. CJE는 LPS에 의해 활성화된 IKK, p65 및 MAPKs (p38, ERK, JNK)의 인산화를 억제하였으며, 세포질에서 핵으로의 p65 전위를 억제하였다. 연구 결과를 통해 in vitro 내 CJE가 LPS 유도 iNOS/NO 생성과 NF-κB 및 MAPKs 신호전달경로의 예방을 통해 잠재적인 항염증 효능을 보였으며, 해당 결과를 바탕으로 CJE를 활용한 건강기능식품 개발을 위해서는 추가적인 지표성분의 동정 및 정량화 연구가 필요할 것으로 판단된다. We evaluated the anti-inflammatory effects of Causonis japonica (Thunb.) Raf. extract (CJE) in mouse RAW264.7 macrophage cells. The CJE significantly suppressed lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS)/nitric oxide (NO) production. It also suppressed LPS-induced phosphorylation of IkB kinase (IKK), p65, the translocation of p65 from the cytosol to the nucleus, and the phosphorylation of mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs). Overall, our results suggested that the CJE suppresses LPS-induced inflammatory responses by regulating the NF-κB and MAPK signaling pathways.

K-MOOC 튜터의 역할과 역량 - 한국어 강좌를 중심으로 -

The purpose of this study is to identify the role that the tutor should play for the effective operation of Korean language courses for K-MOOC foreigners and what competencies are needed for them. I first took a deductive approach and derived a tutor's role and competency model for the operation of tentative K-MOOC Korean language courses through literature analysis. To validate the validity of the draft model and refine the model, I recruited experts and conducted three times of Delphi surveys. Through three Delphi surveys, the final model was derived by repeatedly conducting the process of modification and supplementation. The model consisted of four roles of the tutor and twenty-five competencies required in this regard. (Kyung Hee University)

사용자 경험 디자인에서 퍼소나는 다양하게 활용되고 있다. 퍼소나의 기본 구성 요소인 사진, 이름, 나이, 사용자의 목표, 직업 등에 관해서는 국내외에서 연구가 이루어지고 있지만, 각 요소들을 심층적으로 조사한 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 퍼소나의 주요 요소인 퍼소나 사진유형과 효과에 대해 2차에 걸쳐 조사한다. [연구 1]에서는 퍼소나의 사례들을 수집하여 7가지 유형(이미지 콜라주 형, 배경이 묘사된 유형, 전신사진 유형, 연예인/유명인 유형, Stuff in Bag유형, 일러스트/삽화 유형, 텍스트 형)으로 나누었고 각 유형의 선호도를 조사하였다. [연구 2]에서는 [연구 1]에서 가장 높은 결과가 나온 이미지 콜라주 유형을 5가지로 나누어 다시 선호도 조사를 하였다. 결과적으로 퍼소나를 제작할 시 ‘이미지 콜라주 형’을 활용하고, 이 때 이미지 콜라주에 활용되는 보조이미지는 퍼소나의 관심사를 잘 보여주는 소품, 행동을 결합한 사진을 사용하는 것이 효과적이었다. While analyses and experiments have been consistently conducted on the importance and framework often components of persona, studies on persona photo has been unsystematic and incomplete. By focusing on ‘photo’ among the existing elements of persona, this study seeks to examine the preference on types and characteristics and propose a proper usage of photos when using persona in UX design and service design. The research method was divided into 2 steps to examine the preference on the types of persona photo, the core of this paper. Step 1 collected the examples of persona and divided them into 7 types and examined the preference of the 7 types. Step 2 divided image collages with the highest results from Step 1 into 5 and conducted another preference investigation. The study concluded that it is efficient to use an image collage when applying a persona to a project, especially a photo that combines items and behaviors clearly showing the persona’s interests assistive image used in the image collage. This study will help the proper persona's photo and able to provide positive experience.
