‘2000년 국어의 로마자 표기법’ 표기 방식에 관한 소론 1

This study aims to present solutions to the controversial issues on Korean Romanization Rule enacted in 2000. The findings of a survey study with 84 undergraduates led to the following suggestions for the current Romanization Rule. First, Korean Romanization needs to be based on the electromagnatic method. Second, no symbols other than the Roman alphabets should be used. Third, the Korean vowels ‘ㅓ e’, ‘ㅡ u’, and ‘ㅢ uy’ need to be transcribed as ‘eo’, ‘eu’, and ‘eui.’ Fourth, the initial and final sound difference in Korean lax consonants of plosives should be clarified in writing. That is, for a Korean alphabet ‘ㄱ k’, its initial sound should be romanized as ‘g’, and its final one as ‘k.’ Fifth, the Korean fortis consonant ‘ㄱ k’ needs to be romanized as ‘gg.’ Finally, when there occurs a sound shift, its consequence should not be reflected. The unified Romanization Rule should reflect the public’s opinions so that they can easily learn and widely use the Rule. The findings of this study have significant implications for enacting a new easy-to-use Romanization Rule.

본 연구에서는 내용 기반의 텍스타일 이미지 검색 시스템을 구축하였다. 텍스타일 이미지에 대한 색상, 질감, 모양 특성 추출 조합을 각각 혹은 가중치를 이용한 방법으로 검색한다. 검색은 사용자 인터페이스에서 오라클 데이터베이스 시스템에서 제공되는 이미지의 색상, 질감 특성 값에 대한 검색과 결과 피드백을 보면서 진행된다. 또 검색 대상 이미지들을 유사도에 따라 다차원 비례법에 의하여 2차원 화면에 클러스터링하여 전체 이미지의 군집화 특성을 쉽게 파악할 수 있는 기능을 구현하였다.
