The main argument of this study is that in the study of language it is important to study how the word functions in communication and sentence. The author argues that, to study such functions of language, we must look how a word is combined with other words in sentences. In the past the study of language was primarily focused on the analysis of meanings in particle, に (ni). However, in this article, the author has, first of all, classified the words by their meanings based upon the usage of meanings, and has separated all the verbs in meaning context, surveying the meanings of nouns which come in front of particle, に(ni). In this article the author has classified the structural relations of the basic Japanese language, and also made it possible to classify the words by their usages, in order to gather the data of basic phrases.

Generally, foreign language education in Korea for the time being is beginning to teach English from the first grade at Middle Schools and parallelly teaches second foreign language at High Schools. It is not usually easy to teach foreign language to those students who have passed their period of language formation. For finding some effective methods, it is therefore various methods have been attempted and also studied. However, still among these methods whether it is in the East or West, the most traditional one is the interlinear method and the opposite to this is said to be the direct method. In this study, therefore, the contents of these two methods and merits and demerits of them including some advocacies were investigated in order to seek future improvements.

There has been an intimate relation between Korea and Japan due to the geographical proximity, Both countries share similar cultures teased on the confucianism and Buddhism transmitted from the mainland China, thus the languages of these two countries based on the culture of Chinese character. Furthermore, Japanese language is characterized as an agglutinative language, sharing a similar gramatical system, thus being the easiest foreign language to learn for Koreans. However such similarity of language may for Koreans be an obstacle to learn the Japanese language and thus the language learners may fall into the error of learning. Therefore, in an attempt to give same assistance for Japanese language learners, some important points were suggeste4 particularly in terms of phoneme, grammar, expression, and chinese characters.
日本語의 條件表現의 差異 : 接續助詞를 중심으로 Focusing on Conjunctive Auxiliary Verbs

When expressing two concepts by connection, the conjunctive function can be undertaken with various expression styles to the conjunctive word that is being used according to the speaker's subjective view point. Among these, particularly, there are many similarities to the conditional expression that shows the cause and effect relationship. So, in some cases it is all right to use any of them. Sometimes, however, that certain case should be used. In addition, it is not easy to use them through discrimination with emotional differences. In this paper, it was to contribute to the Japanese language education by discussing the writer's own observation of difference with reference of other scholor's theories regarding Ⅰ.TO and BA Ⅱ.NARA and TARA Ⅲ.KARA and NODE IV.KEREDO and GA To the Japanese language education, these are fundamentally important elements among conjunctive auxilliary verbs that contain the function of conditional expression.

Chinese characters were first transmitted to Japan through Dr. wang-In of Pai-kche Dynasty around the 4th Century. The Japanese people then introduced the modern Conveniences of characters had tried to inscribe Japanese languageon the face of chinese characters, and as results of such attempts, they could finally Create Manyou-Gana Corresponding to the sounds of those chinese characters. On the basic of the Manyou-Gana, Hira-Gana and Kata-kana were made as their authentic characters. Presently the Japanese language is being used as a muxture of chinese characters and kana, but the chinese character reveals the conceptual aspects of the words, while Hira-Gana inscribes auxiliary aspects and Kata-kana is used for special cases. The chinese character has been dominantly used along with Hira-Gana as the means of inscription of Japanese language and is also expected to play consistently an important role in the Japanese language, unseparable with Japanese language.

일본어(日本語)의 Variety 체계(體系) 내(內)의 한국어(韓國語) -재일교포(在日僑胞)를 중심으로-

Discussing variety system of Japanese language social linguist J.V. Neustupuny observed that "the language of Korean minority residing in Japan will play a great role in the Japanese language system in the future." This is interpreted due to the foot that the number of Korean residents will rise gradually by the natural increase of population, the influence of Korean language will become a great one. However the present reality of Korean resident society on the contrary, the Korean language in Japan has been gradually disapearing because while the number of first generation who can speak his mother-tung will slowly diminishing, the number of second generation who does not know his mother-tung will gradually increase. There can be many factor, however it was considered that the important factors are attributed by the aspect of mental structure of Korean residents by themselves, by the various social factors that urge the Korean residents to the assimilated into the Japanese society. Considering these points in the paper, it was searched in the one aspect the reason that is given by the population using the mother-tung of Korean residents in Japan and on the other aspect what is the position of Korean language in the variety system of Japanese language.
