The adsorption mechanism of Chromium(VI) uptake in silk fibroin fibers was discussed. The adsorption equilibrium of Chromium(Vl) is significantly influenced by the initial adsorption rate and it showed 52% of the equilibrium uptake. The Chromium(Vl) uptake by silk fibroinis increased with the acidic range of pH, which react upon Chromium(VI) oxidations. The enthalpy change in the Chromium(Vl) on the temperatures, △H, was found to be 39.7 KJ ·mol-1. It means that the Chromium(Vl) adsorption proceeds via a certain complex chemical reaction and the Chromium complex was found to be coordinated with carbonyl group of amides from the result of infrared spectra. The chroming of silk fibroin fibers is moderated in the conditions of 50°C, pH 2.4, and 3 hours, which prevent from the loss of physical properties. The equilibrium adsorption is attained at 5×10-3M of Chromium(Vl) solutions.

폴리에틸렌과 파라핀의 混合比가 다른 film 試料와 더불어 파라핀만을 有機溶液으로 溶解 除去한 試料의 表面觀察 및 폴리에틸렌 球晶間의 構造를 檢討한 結果는 다음과 같다. 폴리에틸렌의 比率을 어느 정도까지는 적게 하는 것에 따라서 球晶間의 衝突이 적게 되어 球晶成長이 增加하였다. 그러나, 보다 적게 하면 파라핀의 比率이 增加해 이번에는 파라핀 分子가 球晶으로서 形成하는 lamella의 伸長 및 回傳을 沮害하여 球晶이 成長하지 못하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 球晶間 構造의 觀察에 있어서는 파라핀이 除去된 폴리에틸렌의 honeycomb構造를 가진 球晶의 側面으로부터 fibril이 다리와 같은 形態로 球晶間이 連結되어져 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. This study was analysed and discussed to identify the structure of spherulites in the mixtures of Polyethylene film and Paraffin, which was blended in the ratio control and Paraffin was solvolysised. In the investigation of spherulitic morphologies, SEM and polarizing microscopy was used. An effect was occured in spherulites grown to some extent when the ratios of Polyethylene are in the small and little collisions between spherulites, whereas it was observed that the growth can also not occur as the increase of Paraffin and the hinderance in extending and turning lamellae. It was shown by revealing that the spherulites are connected with fibrils like a bridge between them from the side views of Polyethylene spherulitic morphologies when Paraffin are cleared out and presented the honeycomb form.

Lineament density maps can be used for the quan-titative evaluation of relationships between lineaments and theoccurrence of groundwater. This paper reports the usefulness ofthe representative elementary area (REA) concept for lineamentanalysis. This concept refers to the area of the unit circle neededto calculate the lineament density factors distributed within thecircle: length, counts and cross-points counts. The circle is a unitcircle where one calculates the sum of the lineament length, lin-eament counts and the number of cross-points within it. The REAis needed to obtain the best representative lineament density mapprior to the analysis of relation between lineaments and ground-water well yield or other groundwater characteristics. A lineamentmap for the Yongsangang-Seomjingang watershed of Korea wasused for demonstrating the concept. It is shown that the REA con-cept can be efficiently applied to lineament density analysis andmapping. In the demonstration case, the lineament densities areinversely proportional to the size of the REA, and the REA can becalculated with this inversely linear regression model. If the aver-age lineament density values for the whole study area are known,the most accurate density maps can be drawn using the REAsobtained from each linear regression model.

The improved method proposed for dyeing on silk with vat dyes gives high degree of fastness from alkaline conditions. In the proposed dyeing process the optimum condition for tensile strength and elongation are sodium hydroxide(NaOH) 10g/ℓ, sodium hydrosulfite(Na_2S_20_4) 20~22g/ℓ, for 30min at 50℃. The color yield of silk fabrics were increased by increasing NaOH and Na2S2O4 concentration, but decreased NaOH 10g/ℓ and Na_2S_2O_4 22g/l or more. The dyeings give excellent wash fastness, better than that achieved by the conventional dyeing method.
사상 자연집단내 노랑초파리 제3염색채의 유전적 변이에 관한 연구

Genetic analysis of the variabilities of deleterious genes of Drosophila melanogaster in Sasang natural population was undertaken. Drosophila melanogaster used in this experiment was collected randomly for this analysis. The results of the experiment concerning the genetic variabilities of viability and sterility of the third chromosomes were as follows: 1) The frequency of phenotypic sterility was 7.0 percent for males in 200 lines from the natural population. 2) Variations on the viability of homozygotes for the third chromosomes were estimated to be 14.0 percent for lethals, 6.5 percent for semilethals, and 13.4 percent and 66.1 percent, respectively, for subvitals and normal chromosomes including supervital ones. 3) Allelic rate between lethal genes extracted from the natural population was 1.84 percent. 4) The frequencies of sterile chromosome were 0.9 percent in females and 1.8 percent in males. 5) Elimination frequency caused by deleterious genes in homozygotes for the third chromosome was estimated to be 0.0008. This frequency is similar to the frequency of the second chromosome.
