Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the clinical and radiological outcomes of the S.E.R.I. (simple, effective, rapid, inexpensive) operation for the bunionette deformity. Materials and Methods: Between March 2005 and February 2009, 22 patients (26 feet) who had been treated for the bunionette deformity with minimally invasive osteotomy were reviewed retrospectively. Clinically, Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) score, shoes selectivity, disappearance of callus and patient's satisfaction level by Coughlin scoring system were evaluated. Radiologically, the bunionette was classified as four types according to the Fallat classification. The 4-5$^{th}$ intermetatarsal angle (4-5$^{th}$ IMA), the 5$^{th}$ metatarsophalangeal angle (5$^{th}$ MPA) and the length of 5th metatarsal bone (5$^{th}$ MTL) were analyzed at preoperatively and at final follow up visit. Results: VAS improved from $6.8{\pm}1.8$ points to $2.2{\pm}1.8$ points (p<0.05). AOFAS score improved from $54.0{\pm}14.2$ points to $90.0{\pm}4.8$ points (p<0.05). There was no change in shoes selectivity. 9 feet (34.6%) were satisfied with excellent results, 16 feet (61.5%) with good results and 1 foot (3.9%) with fair results. The average 4-5$^{th}$ IMA was corrected from $10.1{\pm}2.3^{\circ}$ to $4.4{\pm}1.7^{\circ}$ (p<0.05). The average 5$^{th}$ MPA was corrected from $11.5{\pm}8.6^{\circ}$ to $-0.1{\pm}4.1^{\circ}$ (p<0.05). The average 5$^{th}$ MTL was changed from $66.1{\pm}4.3$ millimeters to $64.1{\pm}4.4$ millimeters (p=0.069). There was no malunion, nonunion or delayed union and other perioperative complications. Conclusion: S.E.R.I. operation is less invasive and easy technique. This procedure is recommendable for the treatment of the bunionette deformity.

Two major salivary glands, submandibular duct, lingual nerve, and vessels are situated beneath the mouth floor. Among these, passing through the pterygomandibular space, lingual nerve is innervated to the lingual gingiva and the mucosa of mouth floor, and is responsible for the general sensation of the anterior two thirds of the tongue. So, the injury of the lingual nerve during an anesthesia or surgery in the retromolar area may cause complications such as a numbness, a loss of taste of the tongue and the other dysfunctions. Therefore, to find out the morphology and the course of lingual nerve and to clarify the topographical relationships of lingual nerve at the infratemporal fossa and paralingual space area, 32 Korean hemi-sectioned heads were dissected macroscopically and microscopically with a viewpoint of clinical aspect in this study. This study demonstrated various anatomical characteristics with relation to the course and topography of the lingual nerve in Koreans. And clinical significances based on the anatomical variations through the topography of the courses and communications between the mandibular nerve branches were described in details.

All the facility, the structure and the rolling stock have limited life so after starting use, we must decide disuse or use when it exeeds the lifetime. Currently the subway which exeeds the lifetime appeared in our country. Structural members of rolling stock structures were occurred corrosion after passage of time and It gives a many effect in the structure strength. In this study, it accomplished a structural analysis which use FEM for the No.2 subway line which operated currently, and it investigated the structural strength change which it follows with dimension change of structural members due to corrosion.
3점 굽힘 하중 해석을 통한 금속 판재형 도어 임팩트 단면형상 최적설계

금속 일체형 판재 도어 임팩트 빔 개발을 위해 단면 형상의 최적설계를 진행하였다. 기존의 도어 임팩트는 충격을 흡수하는 강관과 양쪽에 브라켓을 용접하여 자동차에 설치하는 구조로 이루어졌다. 하지만, 브라켓을 설치하기 위한 용접작업은 생산성을 떨어뜨리고 생산단가를 증가시키는 과정이다. 이러한 단점을 극복하기 위해 일체형 판재 도어 임팩트 빔의 개발은 반드시 필요한 공정이다. 본 논문에서는 일체형 판재 도어 임팩트의 단면 형상을 수치해석의 방법으로 제안하는 연구를 진행하였다. 외부 충격에 대한 반력 하중 및 생산성을 고려하여 엔지니어의 직관적인 설계 형상 6가지에 대하여 수치해석을 진행하였다. 객관적인 비교를 위해 3점 굽힘 하중 실험을 모사하는 유한요소해석을 진행하였다. 형상과 치수가 상이한 6가지의 단면 형상 중 최적의 형상을 선정하고, 상세 설계를 위해 단면형상의 높이와 폭의 치수를 변화시키며 해석을 진행하였다. 이를 통해, 일체형 판재 도어 임팩트의 최적의 단면 형상을 제안하였다. A case study was performed in order to develop well-designed of thin plate door impact beam. The conventional impact beam was consisted of steel-pipe welded two brackets on the both side, which causes low productivity and high cost. In order to overcome those disadvantage, it is necessary to develop a new type of door impact; thin plate impact beam. The thin plate impact beam was not needed a welding procedure, which can lead low cost and high productivity. In order to maximally resist from an external force, the cross-section design should be well designed. 6 different cross-section design were proposed based on engineer’s experience. Three point bending test was simulated those 6 different impact beam and compared the reaction forces. Among them, one case was chosen and redesigned for detail design.
