In the conventionally formed thin films, it is difficult to solve many of the problems created by the columnar structure. The IAD (Ion Assisted Deposition) is a technique for improving the properties of thin films by ion bombardment. The objective of this study is to analyze the properties of thin films prepared by the IAD method. The ion beam energy extracted from the Kaufman type ion source can vary from 100 to 3000 eV. To minimize the deterioration of film by sputtering, it was maintained below 500 eV. In this experiment, the SiO₂is deposited by the resistance evaporator on the glass or silicon wafer substrate. To investigate the properties of thin films, various test methods such as scotch tape test, pull-off test (for adhesive test), 3% NaCl test (for corrosive test), XRD test (for the understanding of crystal structures) and RBS test (for the examination of density) have been carried out. From the results of these tests, it is found that the film made by IAD method is superior to one by conventional method.

This paper describes a new approach to the control problem based on the use of inverter-2 phase servomotor drives in which complementary pairs of power MOSFET's are used to implemem the inverters interfaced to the Z-80 microprocessor. An attempt have been made to eleminate harmonics by using PWM techniquse and to reduce control system by phase control method. The position control of the 2 phase servomotor operated by PWM system and phase control method is applied. As controller, the PI algorithm is adapted. The transient respones of the motor position are simulated by digital computer and verified by laboratory experiment.

It is complex to realize the reference voltage vector by the space vector PWM method in three-leg two-phase inverter. In this paper a new PWM technique for three-leg two-phase inverter fed two-phase induction motor is poroposed assuming that three-leg two-phase inverter is equivalent circuit for "four-leg two-phase inverter with the connected two windings". From assumption, six sectors are decreased to four sectors, and simple sinusoidal PWM method instead of SVPWM is applied to three-leg two-phase inverter. Also, the switching pattern to determine the switching periods at each sector is proposed. Practical verification of theoretical predictions is presented to confirm the capabilities of the new techniques. 본 논문에서는 3-레그 2상 인버터의 새로운 PWM방식을 제안하였다. 기존의 3-레그 인버터의 PWM방식은 전형적인 SVPWM 방식을 적용하여 PWM 방식이 복잡하다. 3-레그 2상 인버터를 “중성점이 있는 4-레그 인버터”의 등가회로라고 할 때 3-레그 인버터에서 형성되는 6개의 섹터는 4개의 섹터로 축소되며, 각 영역에서는 SVPWM 방식 대신 단순화된 정현파형 PWM방식을 적용할 수 있다. 각 레그의 스위치마다 스위칭 시간을 계산하는 스위칭 패턴을 제시하였다. 제안된 3-레그 인버터의 PWM방식에 대한 타당성을 확인하기 위해 모의 실험과 실험이 실행되었다.
