The purpose of this study was to analyze the low extremity joints movement during walking between normal and intellectual disability adults. The subjects of 30 males were participated in this study. Five video camera were collected to 30frame/s for obtain the kinematic data. Three dimensional motion analysis with 5 cameras which sampling frequency was 60Hz, were performed. Kwon 3D version 3.1 and Matlab version 6.5 program were used to data collection and joint angle calculation, respectively. This study was to analysis one stride phase: Each gait cycle was taken from initial right heel contact to the next right heel contact. All data were analyzed by the ((SD/Mean)×100) variability and independent t-test Measure was used to the statistic significance between and within groups for all parameters determined with SPSS 11.0 significance was defined at p < 0.05. The results were as follows; In motion of the hip joint appeared that flexion/extension(swing deceleration phase), adduction and abduction(support phase), and internal/external rotation(landing phase) were statistically difference in between groups. ROM of the hip joint showed statistically difference in internal/external rotation between groups. In motion of the knee joint appeared that flexion/extension(swing deceleration phase), adduction and abduction(swing acceleration phase), and internal/external rotation(support phase) were statistically difference in between groups. ROM of the knee joint showed statistically difference in varus/valgus between groups. In motion of the ankle joint appeared that inversion/eversion(support phase, swing acceleration phase) were statistically difference in between groups. ROM of the knee joint showed statistically difference in dorsiflexion/plantarflexion and inversion/eversion between groups. Especially, in characters of the variability, the intellectual disability group showed a bigger variability values than the consistence normal adult group.

The purpose of this study were to evaluate the strength and performance ability and to provide the guideline to improve their performance ability for new weight-lifters with disabilities. Four weight-lifters with disabilities participated in this project and were tested pre-test before starting the experiment and were collected post-test after eight weeks training program. They practiced three different weight(25%, 50%, and 100%) and their exercise motion were analyzed their using Dartfish System. The result in biomechanical data were as follows: elbow angle of K.H.S was not changed both pre and post-test and pushing time at post-test took less, in push phase P.Y.H not fully extended and left shoulder was adducted during both tests, in push phase C.N.Y moved their legs to upward at pre-test, but he did not used his legs and the range of COG was decreased at post-test, and in pulling phase right shoulder of L.S.G was adducted at pre-test and the trajectory of barbell moved vertically at post-test. The result in basic physical fitness data were as follows: Cardiopulmonary function of K.H.S decreased but the other functions(muscular strength, muscle endurance, power, flexibility) of her increased at post-test than pre-test, cardiopulmonary function of P.Y.H was low but muscular strength of P.Y.H was measured more stronger than others, basic physical fitness of C.N.Y was not changed both pre and post-test, cardiopulmonary function, muscular strength, and flexibility of L.S.G were decreased but the other functions(muscle endurance, power) were increased.

This study investigates how Korean traditional family consciousness interacts with Korean industrialization in the 1970s. In Our Children, Lee Sun depicts a family's struggle within the turmoil brought about by rapid industrialization to escape from the ranks of the working class. It is well known that one of the consequences of industrialization was the breakup of the larger family structure into nuclear families, but Lee Sun presents Korea's industrialization in the 1970s in the light of the traditional Korean family culture before the breakup. In other words, he gives us a portrayal of Gemeinschaft in Gesellschaft in his description of the extended family's struggle to overcome the day-to-day pressures of modernization and urbanization. The novel presents three generations of a traditional extended family. The eldest son is portrayed as a knife, strong and sharp. His wife has a temporary job that she hopes to give up once they own a house, which symbolizes the family's escape from the working class. The relationship among the family members reveals the core aspects of the ideology governing traditional extended families: the husband is the despotic monarch of the household, solely responsible for the family's economy; the husband is the sky and the wife the earth; and children (the more the better) are expected to lead to stability, welfare, and prosperity. One curious aspect of this family relationship as portrayed by Lee Sun is the expectation that being the eldest son, who already is or will become the patriarch of the family, is the fastest way of reaching middle-class status. And, despite a slight reversal, the novel has a happy ending wherein the family's expectations are fulfilled without much suffering. This aspect should be considered in light of the revolutionary romantic idealism of the novels of the 1930s. The lack of suffering and the easy happy ending may be attributed to the fact that Korea's industrialization came about rapidly and radically, and therefore it is likely that Lee Sun was not able fully to appreciate the full costs of industrialization. This limitation calls for a deeper investigation into the social structure and class consciousness of the 1970s, and also a study of the intertextual relationship of Our Children with other novels of the time.
