In this thesis, I tried to consider how Kim's life-recognition melts in his poetry, arranging his viewpoints of nature, human and thought. First, he did not recognize nature only as an object of intimacy or amusement of life. To him nature is an pragmatic object in a practical life. Nature is a definite object of persueing spiritual beauty and expressing Taoism. Second, through his poetry he realized Taoistic humanity which helps loyalty and integrity in the practical norm. He said that a poem starts from man's nature and aims at man's nuture. So he aims at ethical poetry, rather than literary beauty expression. Third, his poetry expressed spiritual world which cultivates man's character and keeping man's heart on the base of Taoism. So to him poem is the realistic expression which helps a man to fulfill morality and carry out his duty. So the law of life in his poetry is the spiritual expression of Taoism.

<48 Poems of Sosaewon> is a poetry of Kim In-hu, Haseo. Sosaewon is an artificial garden and is possessed by Yang San-bo at Jigokli, Nammyun, Damyangkun, Chunnam. He wrote this poetry to admire the scenery of the garden while he stayed there. Most of his poems are confucian or educational. However, this poetry is rather analyzed to be ideologic and to be a nature poem of the season, so we can say that his poetry is a meditative nature poem of the garden.

His poetries utilize realistic and specific languages to successfully deliver the emotional aspects of events and things. 2. Use of historical facts. His poetries contain many historical facts, events, and persons that tend to set the emotional tone. 3. Free style. His poetries are not bound by the traditional format of Korean poems. His use of suggestive and abstract poetry language assists him to freely express his thoughts. 4. Abundance of emotions. Contrary to an impression of him as an intellectual person, his poetries show rich emotions expressed through a liberal use of language and candid thinking. 5. Variety of techniques. The world of his poetries shows a depth in complexity, which is in part possible through employing such techniques as paradoxes and contractions. 6. Mature attitude toward life.
