        From january 1.1976 to December 30. 1976, the migration and growth of the Eriocher sinensis at the 6 stations from upstream habitat to spawning area of Man Kyong River were examined. 1.As the Eriocher sisnensis traveled along the upstream duration showed from March till August and lowstream duration did from August till December. a) Feeding period: early Mar - - late Aug.(spawningArea - - Fresh water) b) Prespawning period: late Aug - - Sept. (Fresh water - - Half sea water) C) Spawning period: late Sept -- late Dec.(Half sea water - - Sea water) 2.The estimated growth of the Eriocher sinensis showed sigmoid curve and Matinal growth after one year on the carapace of Eriocher sinensis from mininum 0.7 mm to miximum 65mm. 3.Composition of average carapace length during one year was from 35 mm to 65 mm miximum carapace length of female is 66 mm and male 68 mm. 4.Relation between the carapace length and width on the growth before and after moulting showed as fallows. a) Before moulting of regression coeficient is 0.92. b) After moulting of regression coeficient is 0.8.

        This paper deals with results of investigations on the species composition caught by long bag net around Seonyu Island of Gogunsan Area, during the period from April to November in 1979, and results are as follows : 1.A total of 85 species in 54 families was found. It was composed of 71 species (or 83.5% ) of finfishes in 46 families, 8 species (or 9.4%) of Crustaceans in 5 families and 6 species (or 7.1% ) of Cephalopods in 3 families. 2.Each fish can be classified in to followings five in each season groups being change in quantity appearance of the species caught by Long Bag Net. 1).Species caught of small quantity in the whole year round(Subfamparalichthinae, Verasper variegatus, Hexagrammos otakii ) 2).Species caught of Large quantity in the period from April to November(Engraulis japonica, Spepiella japonica Acetes japonicus) 3).Peak time of catches In the period from April to June and finishes in the summer (Pholis taczanowskii(Larva), Ammodytes personatus, Hemiramphus Kurumeus) 4).Peak time of catches in the period September and Octerber, beginning in about August (Trichiurus lepturus, Collichthys fragils, Crustae Larva) 5).The catchies in spring and in autumn season(Engraulidae, Loliginidae Shrimp) 3.Species caught of the Sounyu Island were observed to change three times a year, in April, August and November, in another words, there are three seasonal species caught; the species caught in the period of rise in water temperature from April to July, those in the period of fall in water temperature from August to September and those in the period of low water temperature from December to February or March. 4.Judging from the amount of catchies for fishery at Seonyu Island Gogunsan sea were small ancovy(Engraulis japonica 24.9%), small Northern sand ladn = Ammodytes personatus 6.7%, Acetes japonica 4.89%, Pholis taczanowskii 4.77%, Loligo japonica 4.47%, Penaeus joyneri 3.2%, Trichiurus lepturus 2.8%. 5.Composition of body length of appearing species reaches is at 31.5%(0.5-3cm) Juvenile stage, 55.4%(3.1-7cm) in Yong stage, above 13.1%(7.1-30cm) in Adult stage. 6.Long Bag Net bring about loss in usual Larval stage of marine biologist, it's death means a serious loss to the to the world of science and selfgoverment industry.

      • 養漁飼料의 添加物로서 라이신 效果에 關한 硏究

        To investigate the effect of lysine as a additive to fishfeed, a series of studies on Israeli carp(Cyprinus carpio) and eel(Anguilla japonica) were carried out during the cultivation period of 124 days. During the cultivation periods, the daily growth and growth rate were appeard 0.55g and 6.7times for elver, 1.11g and 4.0 times for young eel, 40.97g and 2.8 times for preadult eel, 1.96g and 3.8 times for fingerling carp, 14.94g and 6.1 times for preadult early, and 161.31g and 2.0 times for adult Israeli carp, respectively. The effect of lysine as a additive to fishfeed were respectively showed superior results in 0.3% for elver, in 0.1% for young eel, and in 0.5% for Israeli carp. But not shown the effect of lysine in preadult of eel. As a results, it was considered that a amounts of lysine added recommend to fishfeed 0.1% of lysine for elver and 0.5% for Israeli carp.

        Boleophthalmus chinensis and B. sp have not classified yet, and left in confusion. so I have here classified. them by the available data of scale structure and a lot of speciments. Being based on the research of KOBAYASI, H(1937) and MATSUBARA,K(1957). The taxonomy of them has been done by distribution of scale(table2), the number of lateral line scale (Table3), relation of longitudinal diameter and transverse diameter(Fig 3), and the number of groove(Table4). By above traits, the following two forms may be splited as shown ill the next key. A1 Number of lateral line scale is 100-230, the relation of longitudinal diameter and transverse diameter ill body surface makes intersection. b1 The Number of lateral lisle scale is 100-150(140±0.021 on average). Relation of longitudinal diameter and transverse diameter makes intersection at caudal peduncle‥‥‥B . chinensis. b2 The Number of lateral line scale is 180-230(203.8±0.032 on average). Relation of longitudinal diameter and transverse diameter makes intersection at anterior trunk ‥‥ B. sp. Above two species have not any trait for the assertion of them simultaneously from each scale structure, However, they not only have intersectional relation of longitudinal diameter and transverse diameter in body surface but also make clear difference in the number of leteral line scale. Therefore it goes without saying that each of them is independent species.

        금강하구산 말뚝망둥어(Periophthalmus cantonensis) 의 하기 생활양식에 대하여

        1. 말뚝망둥어(Periophthalmus cantonensis)의 匍匐跳躍하는 生活群의 生態를 究明하는 一環으로 1978年 7月에서 8月까지 錦江을 中心으로 夏期의 生活樣式을 調査한바 다음과 같은 結果를 얻었다. 1. 分布는 七山里(St.1)에서 烏食島(St. 7) 까지의 約 25㎞ 沿岸線이다. 2. 棲息密度는 平均 1.5尾/㎡이고 高潮亞帶에서 平均 2.6尾/㎡(56%), 中潮亞帶에서 平均 1.5尾/㎡(32%) 低潮亞帶에서 平均 0.5尾/㎡(12%)였다. 3. 定住勢力比는 : 86%이며 定住勢力의 平均體長은 57㎜, 生活圈은 10m, 步行速度는 2.16㎜/sec였다. 4. 말뚝망둥어는 成長함에따라 分離, 獨立하여 一定區域을 占領確保하며, 또 이를 擴張시켜가는 傾向이 있다. 5. 獨立生活을 하던 것이 다시 모여 群集을 形成하는 경우는 특히 定住勢力이 强한 高潮亞帶에서 볼 수 있었으나 이들 單位群集內에서는 體長差異를 볼 수 없었다. An ecological survey on the crawling activity of the Periophthalmus cantonensis in the Gum River was carried out during the period from July to October 1978. The results obtained are as follows. Distribution: From Chilsanri to Osikdo Density of population (Number/m²) : 1. 5/m² High ebb zone: 2.6/m²=56% Mid ebb zone: 1.5/m²=32% Low ebb zone: 0.5/m²=12% The percentage of the fish having established territory: 86% Mean body length of the fish having established territory: 57㎜ Mean body length of the transfering population: 2. 16㎜/sec Activity area: 10m As the fish grow there is a tendency that the individual occupy a certain area, the territory, then gradually increasing the area. When they re-aggregate, especially in high ebb zone, size difference between individuals in a group is not observed.

        The auther has studied the number vertebral, vertebral length rate, relative growth etc. of the Boleophthalmus chinensis for about 54 individuals taken around the coast of Gum river and Yeong Kwang, Beol Gyo during the breeding season from 1978 to 1980. (1) Number centrum and growth centrum haven't any variation concerning with locality, the position of fins for variations has concerning with locality. (2) In the relative growth of each centrum to total length of vertebral column, Anterior shows positive allometry and Middle shows isometry Posterior allometry each, or in the relative growth of each transverse centrum to total length of vertebral column, Anterior shows isometry, Middle positive allometry and Posterior negative allometry each. (3) Vertebral length rate and vertebral tranceverse length rate of B, Ch is assumed to have characteristic pattern, or the relationship between vertebral length and position of each centrum is as follows. from Gum river Anterior : y= 3.14+0.025X Middle : y = 3.684-0.037X Posterior : y= 3.903-0.051X from Yeong Kwang Anterior : y= 0.384+0.041X Middle : y=4.682-0.047X Posterior : y= 4.297-0.029 X from Beol Kyo Anterior : y=3.508+0.032X Middle : y= 4.176-0.039X Posterior : y=4.443-0.053X (4) The biggest transverse diameter of centrum is seen in the 2nd, 12th, 13th at which jumping and working are plentyful or the biggest longitudinal diameter of centrum is seen in the 6h, 7th at which they are rare. (5) The vertebras column of ch, B is consisted of 11 abdominal and 14 caudal vertebrae excluding Urostyle. (6) The significance of vertebral length curve and vertebral transverce length curve refered later.

        Anisakis 류에 관한 연구 (I) 각종 해산어에 있어서의 Anisakis류 유충의 분포

        Formerly T. Nishimura, T. Oshima and M. Otsuru studied on Anisakis-like larvae in the various marine fishes from the Japan Sea and the Pacific Ocean. In the present observation, many kinds of marine fishes from the Yellow Sea and the southern coast of Korea were. studied, with the samples from the islands: Eocheng-do, Sohuksan-do, Chuja-do and Keomun-do. The authors examined 313 samples from the adjacent waters of Korea and the distribution of the Anisakis-like larvae in the fish body was found to be 9,219 larvae of Anisakis-like larvae found in the mesentery and coelomic cavity of all samples. Of them, 8,112 Anisakis-like larvae were found from 187 samples from the southern coast of Korea, 1,107 Anisakis-like larvae were found in 126 samples from the Yellow sea (Tables 1 & 2). The fish from the southern coast of Korea are much more infected than the fish from. the Yellow Sea. The larger the fish length, the heavier infection of Anisakis-like larvae were observed.

      • 古群山群島 멸치囊長網漁業의 漁場環境과 漁獲量에 관하여

        I have researched the formation of the Fishing ground, environment and catches of anchovy's long bag net fishery in 1978-1980 at Go Gun San Ir. middle west coast of Republic of Korea. The results are as follows. 1.The fishing ground environment during the fishing period, so to speak, the water surface temperature is 8-26˚.5c salinity is 28.4-32.9%o transparency 0.5-11m. There is a few difference between costal region and outward region. 2.It shows a tendency decreasing on the catches of Anchovy's long bag net fishery year by year. The monthly catches during the fishing period is May in spring July-Oct. in summer and autumn otherwise, it requires a survey of reserve resources in any other season. 3.On the appearance of anchovy at GoGunSan Ir. The small anchovy is formed a fish school at near coast during spring and autumn. It is connected with the spawning school. 4.The region "C" which the salinity density is lower as better catches, after July. The region "B" is better catches than any other place. 5. The transparency of fishing ground is 11m below. It is better catches is low transparency than the transparency is high.
