      • A Study on the Development Plan of Chinese Manufacturing Industry under RCEP

        The signing and implementation of RCEP mark the birth of a highly promising free trade zone. This agreement not only promotes the liberalization of regional trade and investment, creating an integrated regional market but also drives regional economic growth, supporting the stability and prosperity of the East Asian economic sphere. Simultaneously, it contributes to global economic recovery.The implementation of RCEP brings new development opportunities to China’s manufacturing industry but also imposes higher standards, stricter rules, and intensified competition. Chinese manufacturing will face more challenges. This article analyzes the opportunities and challenges brought by RCEP to China and proposes policy suggestions to promote the development of China’s manufacturing industry, including strengthening cooperation with RCEP countries, enhancing technological innovation capabilities, and prioritizing the development of the workforce.

        Improving the charge transfer performance of Si nanomaterial through C surface modification: A first-principles study

        Models of oxidized Si (111) surface under different C coverage were established to study the charge transfer ability of Si nanomaterial from strategy of C surface modification using first-principles calculation. The calculated formation energies show that structures of C surface-modified oxidized Si (111) surface are stable. The electronic properties present that the interaction between C and Si atoms is mainly contributed by the hybridization of C-2p and Si-3p states. And the interaction between C and Si atoms increases firstly and then decreases with the increasing C coverage rate. The transfer charge between C and Si reaches a maximum when C coverage rate is 0.5. We speculate that the conductivity of experimentally prepared Si nanomaterial does not monotonously enhance with the increasing C concentration, which would reach a maximum at a certain C concentration, and then decreases.

        Microwave-Assisted Fabrication of Recyclable CdS/Fe3O4/rGO Photocatalysts to Improve the Photocatalytic Performance Under Visible Light

        A unique CdS/Fe3O4/rGO composite photocatalyst is successfully synthesized by the microwave method. It displays promising photocatalytic activity towards the photo-degrading of tetracycline (TC) in aqueous solution, the degradation rate of TC is 69% with adding 0.1 g CdS/Fe3O4/rGO photocatalyst into 20 mg/L tetracycline for 2 h under visible light irradiation. Furthermore, the mechanism was systematically investigated by active species trapping experiment. It can be known that e? was the major active species in the photodegradation process and the possible process of charge transfer for CdS/Fe3O4/rGO was proposed based on the experimental results. The as-prepared samples were carefully evaluated by XRD, TEM, XPS, VSM, PL spectra, Raman spectrometer.

        Electronic structure and optical properties of V-doped Bi<sub>4</sub>Ti<sub>3</sub>O<sub>12</sub> nanoparticles

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Pure and V<SUP>5+</SUP>-doped Bi<SUB>4</SUB>Ti<SUB>3</SUB>O<SUB>12</SUB> (BTO) photocatalysts were prepared by sol–gel routine and subsequent hydrothermal synthesis. The samples were developed into the platelike microparticles with the exposed (001) facets. The crystalline phases were verified via the XRD measurement. The surface characteristics of the photocatalysts were studied by TEM, SEM, BET, EDX and XPS measurements. The UV–vis optical absorption spectra showed that the V-doped photocatalysts exhibit an obvious red shift in the visible light absorption band compared with the pure BTO. Rhodamine B (RhB) dye solution was used as the model organic pollutants to verify the influence of V-doping on the photocatalytic activity. The 10 mol % V-doped BTO showed efficient photocatalytic ability. The photocatalytic activities and mechanisms were discussed on the crystal structure characteristics and the measurements such as EES and XPS results.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> V-doped Bi<SUB>4</SUB>Ti<SUB>3</SUB>O<SUB>12</SUB> has been synthesized by sol-gel hydrothermal process. </LI> <LI> Single-crystal micro-plates with exposed {001} facets are reached. </LI> <LI> Visible light absorption in Bi<SUB>4</SUB>Ti<SUB>3</SUB>O<SUB>12</SUB> can be greatly improved by V-doping. </LI> <LI> V-doped Bi<SUB>4</SUB>Ti<SUB>3</SUB>O<SUB>12</SUB> gives better visible light photoactivity. </LI> </UL> </P>

        Adaptive Packet Scheduling Scheme to Support Real-time Traffic in WLAN Mesh Networks

        Due to multiple hops, mobility and time-varying channel, supporting delay sensitive real-time traffic in wireless local area network-based (WLAN) mesh networks is a challenging task. In particular for real-time traffic subject to medium access control (MAC) layer control overhead, such as preamble, carrier sense waiting time and the random backoff period, the performance of real-time flows will be degraded greatly. In order to support real-time traffic, an efficient adaptive packet scheduling (APS) scheme is proposed, which aims to improve the system performance by guaranteeing inter-class, intra-class service differentiation and adaptively adjusting the packet length. APS classifies incoming packets by the IEEE 802.11e access class and then queued into a suitable buffer queue. APS employs strict priority service discipline for resource allocation among different service classes to achieve inter-class fairness. By estimating the received signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) per bit and current link condition, APS is able to calculate the optimized packet length with bi-dimensional markov MAC model to improve system performance. To achieve the fairness of intra-class, APS also takes maximum tolerable packet delay, transmission requests, and average allocation transmission into consideration to allocate transmission opportunity to the corresponding traffic. Detailed simulation results and comparison with IEEE 802.11e enhanced distributed channel access (EDCA) scheme show that the proposed APS scheme is able to effectively provide inter-class and intra-class differentiate services and improve QoS for real-time traffic in terms of throughput, end-to-end delay, packet loss rate and fairness.

      • Photochemical and magnetic activities of FeTiO<sub>3</sub> nanoparticles by electro-spinning synthesis

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Ilmenite FeTiO<SUB>3</SUB> nanoparticles were prepared by electrospinning synthesis using the sol–gel precursors, followed by the sintering at 650°C. The pure crystalline phase was verified by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) measurements together with Rietveld refinements. The surface properties of the nanoparticles were studied by TEM, SEM, BET and XPS measurements. The optical absorption of FeTiO<SUB>3</SUB> nanoparticles is in the visible wavelength region. The indirect allowed band gap (2.6eV) of FeTiO<SUB>3</SUB> shows the characteristic charge-transfer (CT) transitions of O-2p→(Ti/Fe)-3d in visible light wavelength region. The photochemical properties were investigated by the methylene blue (MB) degradation under the irradiation of visible-light. FeTiO<SUB>3</SUB> nanoparticles were efficient in the photo-degradation of MB dye solutions. The photocatalysis activities and mechanisms were discussed on the crystal structure characteristics such as multivalent elements of Ti<SUP>3+</SUP>, Fe<SUP>3+</SUP>/Fe<SUP>2+</SUP> redox couples.       • Study on credit risk prediction of listed companies in China

        This paper used mixed logit model to predict crdit risk of listed companies in China. In order to reduce the difficulty in dealing with the facts of correlation and multi-dimension of the financial indexes and meanwhile to ensure that the information is not lost, we introduced factor analysis to the mixed logit equation and thereby constructed a Factor Analysis Mixed Logit Model. Fifteen factors were extracted from original financial indexes, and four main factors which affect dramatically were selected to substitute the original financial indexes as explanatory variables. The empirical results showed that though prediction accuracy of the new method is a little lower than mixed logit model"s, it can reach more than 80%. The new approach presented in this paper is more reliable because it eliminates correlation of explanatory variables and reduces information loss effectively.
