      • Data Aggregation in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSs)- A review

Sukhdeep Kaur,Abhinav Hans 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Future Generation Communi Vol.9 No.8

This paper present a review on the data aggregation techniques in WSNs. Data aggregation techniques have become an major part of WSNs to overcome the problem of flooding at the base station. Also data aggregation techniques reduce the communication cost of WSNs; because it reduces the redundant data by aggregation. Various data aggregation techniques have been considered in this paper. The data aggregation results in reduction of redundant data therefore reduce the amount of data transmission packets size which will reduce the energy consumption in each round. This paper ends with the shortcoming of data aggregation techniques.

      • An Overview to Internet of Things (IOT)

Sukhdeep Kaur,Abhinav Hans,Navdeep Singh 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Future Generation Communi Vol.9 No.9

Web and its applications have turned into an essential piece of today's human way of life. Because of the colossal interest and need, analysts went past associating only PCs into the web. These inquires about prompted the introduction of an astounding thingamabob, Internet of Things (IoT). Correspondence over the web has developed from client - client cooperation to gadget – gadget collaborations nowadays. The fundamental target of this paper is to give a review of Internet of Things, structures, key innovations and their utilizations in our day by day life. In any case, this composition will give great appreciation for the new scientists, who need to do look into in this field of Internet of Things and encourage learning collection in effectively.

Nonlinear Propagation of a Short-Pulse Laser in a Plasma with Density Ripple

        Sukhdeep Kaur,A. K. Sharma,C. M. Ryu 한국물리학회 2008 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.53 No.6

In recent experiments, density ripples have been used to achieve phase-matched harmonic generation from plasmas. We report a numerical study of nonlinear propagation of an intense short-pulse laser in a plasma containing a large-amplitude density ripple. The laser with a Gaussian distribution of the intensity along its wavefront undergoes periodic self focusing due to relativistic and ponderomotive nonlinearity. In the region of high plasma density, the self-focusing effect dominates over the diffraction effect and the laser converges. As the beam enters the low-density region, the diffraction effect supercedes the self-focusing effect and diverges the beam. For ripple periods shorter than the Rayleigh diffraction length, the beam width parameter has a minor wiggle as a function of the distance of propagation. When the ripple period is long, the wiggle in the beam width parameter becomes large.

      • Cloud Based Data Mining Model for Asthma Diagnosis

Abhinav Hans,Sukhdeep Kaur,Navdeep Singh 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Grid and Distributed Comp Vol.9 No.9

The potential of cloud computing for overriding the needs for deploying various infrastructures for running a server based services brought up a revolutionary change in the way the traditional demands of the people use to be handled. Cloud computing provides the software’s on pay per use option which make it easier for the people who are not able to meet the economic requirements. Since the whole scenario is beneficial to big industries like facebook, google, orkut etc , various order fields are also getting dependent on cloud computing. Since tons of data is uploading every second to the cloud server does needs to be mined properly for efficient data storage.in this paper we try to integrate the data preprocessing technique with data classification technique to mine big data’s of asthma based patients.

Correlation between Epidurographic Contrast Flow Patterns and Clinical Effectiveness in Chronic Lumbar Discogenic Radicular Pain Treated with Epidural Steroid Injections Via Different Approaches

Gupta, Ruchi,Singh, Saru,Kaur, Sukhdeep,Singh, Kulvinder,Aujla, Kuljeet The Korean Pain Society 2014 The Korean Journal of Pain Vol.27 No.4

Background: Epidural steroid injections are an accepted procedure for the conservative management of chronic backache caused by lumbar disc pathology. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the epidurographic findings for the midline, transforaminal and parasagittal approaches in lumbar epidural steroid injections, and correlating them with the clinical improvement. Methods: Sixty chronic lower back pain patients with unilateral radiculitis from a herniated/degenerated disc were enrolled. After screening the patients according to the exclusion criteria and randomly allocating them to 3 groups of 20 patients, fluoroscopic contrast enhanced epidural steroids were injected via midline (group 1), transforaminal (group 2) and parasagittal interlaminar (group 3) approaches at the level of the pathology. The fluoroscopic patterns of the three groups were studied and correlated with the clinical improvement measured by the VAS over the next 3 months; any incidences of complications were recorded. Results: The transforaminal group presented better results in terms of VAS reduction than the midline and parasagittal approach groups (P < 0.05). The epidurography showed a better ventral spread for both the transforaminal (P < 0.001) and the paramedian approaches (P < 0.05), as compared to the midline approach. The nerve root filling was greater in the transforaminal group (P < 0.001) than in the other two groups. The ventral spread of the contrast agent was associated with improvement in the VAS score and this difference was statistically significant in group 1 (P < 0.05), and highly significant in groups 2 and 3 (P < 0.001). In all the groups, any complications observed were transient and minor. Conclusions: The midline and paramedian approaches are technically easier and statistically comparable, but clinically less efficacious than the transforaminal approach. The incidence of ventral spread and nerve root delineation show a definite correlation with clinical improvement. However, an longer follow-up period is advisable for a better evaluation of the actual outcom.

      • Layer and RFID Based Security Issues of Internet of Things

Navdeep Singh,Abhinav Hans,Sukhdeep Kaur 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Grid and Distributed Comp Vol.9 No.10

In spite of the fact that it has been with us in some structure and under various names for a long time, the Internet of Things (IoT) is all of a sudden a thing. The capacity to associate, speak with, what's more, remotely deal with an endless number of arranged, mechanized gadgets through the Web is getting to be pervasive, from the manufacturing plant floor to the doctor's facility working space to the private storm cellar. The move from shut systems to big business IT systems to people in general Internet is quickening at a disturbing pace—and legitimately raising alerts about security. As we get to be progressively dependent on clever, interconnected gadgets in each part of our lives, how do we shield possibly billions of them from interruptions and obstruction that could trade off individual protection or undermine open security? There are numerous issues in security of Internet of Things (IOT) shouting out for arrangements, for example, RFID label security, remote security, system transmission security, protection assurance, data handling security. So in this paper we are covering the various security concerns that are cursing the IoT in different ways.
