외배엽 이형성증 환자의 임상적 치험례

Ectodermal dysplasia(외배엽 이형성증)은 외배엽성 기관에 한가지 이상의 선천적 이상소견을 특징으로 하는 질환이다. Ectodermal dysplasia는 약 120종류 이상이 보고되고 있고, 이 중 Hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia가 가장 잘 알려져 있으며 이는 성염색체 열성인자에 의해 유전되며 남성에서 호발한다고 한다. 임상증상으로는 무한증, 감모증, 무치증 혹은 핍지증이 가장 특징적이다. 이외에도 무피지증, 손톱이형성증, 가늘고 성긴 머리카락, 두드러진 이마, 안장코, 돌출된 안와상부, 입술의 돌출과 함께 피부가 건조하고 땀샘이 결핍되어 있어서 더위를 참지 못하고 발열이 일어나기 쉽다. 본 증례의 환자는 단국대학교 치과병원 소아치과에 내원한 6세 6개월된 남아로써 무치증을 보이는 Hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia로 진단되었고 환자의 심미적, 기능적 결함을 해소하기 위해 총의치로 치료를 시행하는 동안 다소의 지견을 얻어 이를 보고하는 바이다. 주요어 : 외배엽 이형성증, 무치증, 총의치

Complex法에 의한 配水管網의 最適管徑 決定에 관한 硏究

Box-complex 알고리즘을 적용하여 배수관망의 관 포설경비를 목적함수로, 유속과 관경을 제약조건으로 고려하여 관경을 최적화 하였으며, 본 연구에 적용된 알고리즘의 적용가능성, 안정성 및 효율성등을 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. Box-Complex 알고리즘은 배수관망의 설계에 매우 적합한 최적화 기법이다. 2. 지반고가 일정한 배수관망의 관경을 최적화하여 최적관경을 얻었으므로 지반고가 일정하지 않은 배수관망이나 대형의 관망 최적화에도 용이하게 적용할 수 있을 것이다. 3. 도송배수관로와 배수관망을 연결하여 최적관경을 구하면 배수관망 자체만의 최적화에서 구한 관경보다 경제적인 관경을 얻을 수 있다고 사료된다. 4. 본 연구에서 적용한 알고리즘은 초기치를 달리하여도 목적함수값이 변하지 않고 짧은 시간내에 일정한 값에 수렴하므로 적용성이 있고 효율적이며 안정성이 있는 알고리즘으로 사료된다. This study deals with the optimization of pipe diameter applying the Box-Complex algorithm and considering the velocity of flow and pipe diameter as constraints with the pipe paving cost of water pipe networks as their objective function. Then this study obtains the results as follows, analyzing the applicational possibility, stability and efficiency of algorithm which are applied to this study. 1. A Box-Complex algorithm is a very suitable optimization technique for the optimal design of the water pipe networks. 2. The optimal pipe diameter will be applied easily for the optimization of the large scale water pipe networks or the water pipe networks that the ground height inclines because the optimal pipe diameter is attained through the optimization of pipe diameter of water pipe networks that the ground height is horizontal. 3. If the optimal pipe diameter is attained through the linking of a water pipe channel with pipe networks, then it will be more economical pipe diameter than the one which is attained from the optimization of pipe networks itself. 4. The algorithm applied to this study is applicable, efficient and stable algorithm because it converges to a constant value within a shore time and does not change its objective function value through the initial value of the design valuables is different.

말티즈견에서 발생한 승모판폐쇄부전 1례

A 10 years old, intact male, Maltese dog with clinical signs of labored respiration, exercise intolerance and increasing of coughing was referred to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital of Chungnam National University. Physical examination revealed tachycardia, panting and mild cyanosis. This case was diagnosed as mitral valve insufficiency by clinical signs, ascultation, blood chemistry, radiography and electrocardiography. This dog was treated with ACE inhibitor (enalapril), diuretics (furosemide) and bronchodilator (aminophylline) for 14 days. After treatment, clnical signs were disappeared and also this dog was needed to be continuous monitoring and sodium restricted diet.

In order to utilize the ubiquitous sensor network technology, it is necessary to identify the communication characteristics of the sensor node. The purpose of this study is to investigate the wireless performance to be related the environment (i.e. humidity) which can cause data loss in the greenhouse environment. The performance of wireless communication was conducted in the constant temperature and humidity device. The results of performance for Zigbee communication were not affected by the humidity. The Zigbee communication without the data loss would be more effective to control the environment in the greenhouse.

A two years old intact female Minature Schnauzer was referred to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital of Chungnam National University with an intermittent seizure by traffic accident. No specific finding was found by radiography and computer tomography (CT). Hematologic and blood chemical examination revealed that PCV (62.5%), BUN (72.6 mg/dl), CK (1769 U/l), ALT (169 U/l) and ALP (353 U/l) were increased. This dog was recovered by medical treatment.

The Effects of Peri-Urethral Thrombin Instillation on Post-Operative Hematuria and Voiding Function in Patients with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) Undergoing Trans-Urethral Prostate Surgery

Background: To evaluate the efficacy of peri-urethral thrombin instillation at the surgical site after trans-urethral prostate surgery in benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), with the objective of reducing post-operative hematuria and preserving voiding function. Methods: The study was retrospectively analyzed a total of 122 patients who had trans-urethral prostate surgery between January 2019 and March 2023. Among these, 33 received thrombin instillation, while 89 did not receive it. In the test group, a mixture of 5 cc of saline solution and 5,000 IU of thrombin was instilled below the balloon, targeting the surgical site by inserting a 5 Fr feeding tube along with the Foley catheter. We compared hematologic data and uroflowmetry (UFM) between pre and post-operative periods, the duration of continuous bladder irrigation (CBI) and Foley catheter indwelling period. Results: The mean age and prostate size in the test group were 71.52±7.15 years and 54.05±24.73 g, while 71.38±8.22 years and 64.52±28.43 g in the control group. The prostate resected weight was 24.97±15.77 g and 27.58±17.00 g respectively. The hemoglobin and platelet levels were −1.05±0.81 g/dL and −42.79±35.59×103/L in the test group, and −1.08±0.97 g/dL and −27.93±40.49×103/L, in the control group. The test group showed better outcomes in CBI application time (21.31±12.15 hours) and Foley catheter indwelling time (50.97±14.63 hours) compared to the control group (34.42±22.68 hours and 70.33±33.95 hours) (P<0.001). Conclusion: After trans-urethral prostate surgery, thrombin agent instillation can prevent post-operative hematuria and facilitate quicker recovery to daily activities.

지방자치단체의 외국인근로자 지원 현황과 문제점에 관한 연구

이 연구는 한국 지방자치단체의 외국인근로자 기관의 운영과 프로그램 운영현황에 대해서 분석하고 여기에 나타나는 문제점이 무엇인지 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 안산시외국인주민센터, 안산외국인노동자의 집, 안산이주민센터, 국경없는마을 등 4개 기관의 관계자와 안산시에 거주하는 외국인 근로자를 대상으로 2010년 12월 24일부터 2011년 1월 28일에 심층면접을 실시하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 운영지원과 관련해서 안산시외국인 주민센터는 안산시 설립당시 국비, 시비의 지원을 받았으며, 현재도 국비, 도비, 시비로 운영한다. 안산외국인노동자집은 기독교라는 종교를 배경으로 설립되어 현재 국비와 후원금의 지원으로 운영되고 있다. 안산이주민센터도 기독교 종교의 배경을 갖고 있으며 후원금으로만 재원을 충당하고 있다. 국경없는마을은 2006년 안산이주민센터를 기반으로 설립되어 다문화의 이론화 연구와 문화컨텐츠 개발을 위한 목적으로 설립되었다. 따라서 개발수익사업을 통해 운영한다. 둘째, 각 기관의 사업 진행방식을 살펴보면 안산시외국인주민센터는 시민단체의 교육 분야에 위탁 및 문화적 행사를 지원하고, 안산외국인노동자의 집은 컨소시엄 형태로 이주민통역센터를 운영하고 있다. 안산이주민센터와 국경없는마을은 함께 연계하여 사업을 진행하고 있다. 그러나 관주도형 사업과 민간기관의 위탁 방식에 관한 각 기관의 입장차이가 크다. 셋째, 프로그램 개발은 외국인근로자 기관들의 자체 개발, 타기관의 프로그램 도입, 정부 계획 사업 등으로 이루어진다. 넷째, 안산시외국인주민센터는 한국어교육과 외국인관련 주요 행사 안산외국인노동자의 집은 상담과 다문화 어학원이 주요 프로그램이다, 안산이주민센터는 이주여성상담, 노동자상담을 중심으로 활동을 하고, 국경없는마을은 주로 연구, 출판, 컨텐츠개발 활동을 한다. 또한 안산시외국인주민센터는 공간이 부족하며, 민간기관은 하나 같이 인력과 재정이 모두 부족한 상황이다. 다섯째 안산시에 거주하는 외국인 근로자는 관련 기관에서 운영하는 한국어 교육, 문화활동 프로그램 참여가 적다. 외국인 근로자는 돈을 벌기 위해 한국에 왔기 때문에 시간적인 여유가 없고, 프로그램의 필요성을 느끼지 못하며, 실제로 거의 이러한 정보를 잘 모르고 있다. 안산시외국인주민센터는 결혼이민자들이 많이 이용하며, 안산이주민센터는 다문화가정 자녀들이 많이 이용하고 있다. 외국인 근로자들은 언어문제에 따른 자녀교육에 대한 고민과 걱정을 갖고 있다. 이 연구의 정책적 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지자체와 민간기관 사이의 밀접한 연계를 통해서 업무를 진행해야 한다. 둘째, 홍보방법 개선 등 외국인 근로자들의 기관 프로그램 참여를 증진시키는 방안이 마련되어야 한다. 그들이 몇년 동안만 머무르더라도, 한국에서 생활하는 동안에는 문화생활을 할 수 있도록 지원해야 한다. This study analyzes the current status of the migrant workers" support and its programs in which finding problems at the level of a local government in Korea. To achieve this study, the method was conducted in-depth interview to whom it may concern from 4 centers (Migrant Community Service Center, Ansan Migrant Workers Home, Ansan Migrant Center, The Borderless Village) and migrant workers who are taking residence in Anasan from Dec. 24,2010 to Jan. 28,2011. The results of the study can be summarized as follows. First, Migrant Community Service Center is an exclusive support center for migrants operated by Ansan City. Ansan Migrant Workers Home was established with Christian religion and operated by national expenditure and donation. Ansan Migrant Center has also Christian religion background and appropriate by only donation for a source of revenue. The Borderless Village was established to theorize about multi-cultural, develop cultural contents and make the profitable projects so it is operated by this. Second, to look at the process method, Migrant Community Service Center is working on the operation of a private migrant support organizations in the field of education and events. Ansan Migrant Workers Home is operating Immigrants Interpretation Center by a consortium. Ansan Migrant Center and The Borderless Village are performing projects mutually. All the centers have different angles for operating system leading by government organization. Third, each center develops programs by itself, introduction of other centers, or plan for government project. Fourth, the essential programs of: Migrant Community Service Center is Korean class and events such as multi-cultural festivals, Ansan Migrant Workers Home are consultation and Multi-cultural School, Ansan Migrant Center is counseling activities for marriage immigrant women, The Borderless Village are research, publication and contents development. In addition, Migrant Community Service Center has not enough space and other all private organizations has limited human resources and finances. Fifth, migrant workers who are staying in Ansan participate a little in those centers" program because they don"t: have enough time to participate, see the necessity and know the project well. Most of marriage immigrant women use the Migrant Community Service Center and many multi-cultural children use the Ansan Migrant Center. Migrant workers have problems and worry about the education of children according to the Korean. Consequently, the outcomes of the study suggest as follows. First, when the centers carry out the programs for migrant workers, close cooperation between Ansan City and NGOs is necessary. Second, it should be made new method of public relations to raise migrant workers" participation rate. Last but not least, although migrant workers are staying only a few years, local government and NGOs should support migrant workers for cultural life.
