        In this paper, we propose a bidirectional mobile Ad Hoc routing protocol based on AODV(ad-hoc on-demand distance vector routing) with QoS(quality of service) support. At presence, wireless mobile communication focuses on how to efficiently support mobility of users more than QoS guarantee. However, in order to satisfy requirement of various applications which have been or will be served, QoS guarantee between end points is a very important issue. The existing AODV routing protocol is implemented to use only BE (Best Effort) service. However, actual wireless mobile environment requires to reduce a waste of communication resources and meet with the real-time change of data paths by setting up routes with QoS support, considering available communication resources at each node in advance. Therefore, in this thesis, we propose an adaptive QoS support method using hello message in order to rapidly meet with the change of available communication resources and to smoothly perform route maintenance. For performance evaluation, we analyzed the average data reception rate. At that time, we used evaluation parameters such as node's mobility-stop time, hello message period, and packet priority, considering the node's mobility and the number of best effort/QoS data flows. As results, we found that with our proposed method the average data reception rate was increased 16.293%, 15.914%, 17.238% for 300 mobility-stop second case and 4.809%, 4.264%, 2.956% for 300 mobility-stop second case.

        Acute myocarditis complicating coronary vasospasm after smallpox vaccination is very rare complication that can be generally developed within less than 30 days after vaccination. Clinically and biochemically, this disorder is often mimic and highly suggestive of acute myocardial infarction. We report 21 years old man that had a history of a smallpox vaccination 3 weeks ago and prodromal symptoms(fever, malaise etc) a few days ago. hIe visited to our hospital because of abrupt onset of severe substernal chest pain, dyspnea and diaphoresis. At admission, electrocardiography was ST elevation in lead Ⅰ, aVL, V4, V5, and V6. The CK-MB level was 68 U/L, LDH level was 760 U/L, Troponin-Ⅰ was 24.64 ng/㎖, and Troponin-T was positive. 2D-echocardiograpy was normal left ventricular function, Clinically we presumed this disorder as acute myocardial infarction and we promptly performed the coronary angiography and revealed focal spasm in distal left coronary artery territory without critical stenosis in both coronary arteries. We diagnosed this disorder as coronary vasospam complicating acute myocarditis that is different with acute myocardial infarction, and we prescribed nitroglycerin and nifedipine. After discharge, he is now well without any symptoms and has been following up monthly at our outward department for 6 months.

      • Effects of herbicide tolerance rice on microbial community in paddy soil

        Rice (Oryza sativa) is the most important staple food of over half the world’s population. This study was conducted to evaluate the possible impact of transgenic rice cultivation on the soil microbial community. Microorganisms were isolated from the rhizosphere of GM and non-GM rice cultivation soils. Microbial community was identified based on the culture-dependent and molecular biology methods. The total numbers of bacteria, fungi, and actinomycete in the rhizosphere soils cultivated with GM and non-GM rice were similar to each other, and there was no significant difference between GM and non-GM rice. Dominant bacterial phyla in the rhizosphere soils cultivated with GM and non-GM rice were Actinobacteria, Firmicutes, and Proteobacteria. The microbial communities in GM and non-GM rice cultivated soils were characterized using the denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE). The DGGE profiles showed similar patterns, but didn’t show significant difference to each other. DNAs were isolated from soils cultivating GM and non-GM rice and analyzed for persistence of inserted gene in the soil by using PCR. The PCR analysis revealed that there were no amplified protox gene in soil DNA. These data suggest that transgenic rice does not have a significant impact on soil microbial communities, although continued research may be necessary.

      • Bioinsecticidal potential of culture extract from Serratia sp. EML-SE1 against diamondback moth

        Diamondback moth (Plutella xylostella L.) belonging to genus Lepidoptera is a notorious pest of cruciferous crops worldwide. We evaluated the bioinsecticidal activity of the liquid cultures (LB and NB) of a bacterial strain, Serratia sp. EML-SE1, isolated from a diseased diamondback moth. The pathogenicity of a bacterial strain to diamondback moth was confirmed by the following procedures: treatment of liquid culture on cabbage leaves, ingestion of inoculated cabbage and mortality response. For the test, twenty 3rd instar larvae of diamondback moth were placed on the Chinese cabbage leaf in a round plastic cage (Ø 10 × 6 cm) and sprayed with the liquid cultures. After 72 hours, insecticidal activity of LB and NB cultures of Serratia sp. against P. xylostella larvae showed 91.7% and 88.3%, respectively. In addition, the bioinsecticidal activity on potted cabbage with 14 leaves in a growth cage (165 × 83 × 124 cm) also was similar to that of plastic cage experiment. Summarized, the Serratia sp. EML-SE1 may be a potent candidate as a bioinsecticidal agent to control diamondbac kmoth.

        토복령이 IL-1β 와 TNF-α로 유발된 Inflammatory Cytokines의 발현 및 생성에 미치는 영향

        목적 : 土茯령의 메탄올 抽出이 培養된 인간 synovial 細胞內에서 Interleukin-1β와 Tumor necrosis factor-α로 誘發된 다양한 inflammatory cytokine의 mRNA 發顯과 生成에 미치는 影響을 알아보기 위해 이루어졌다. 방법 : 먼저 정상세포에 대한 세포독성을 평가한 후 RT-PCR, FACS 및 ELISA LEADER 등을 이용해 인간 synovial 細胞內 pro-inflammatory cytokine인 TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1β, iNOS와 COX-2 등의 발현 및 생성에 대한 억제효과를 측정하였다. 결과 : 土茯령의 메탄올 抽出物은 mouse의 lung fibroblast 細胞와 사람 fibroblast -like synoviocytes 細胞에 對해서 毒性을 나타내지 않았다. IL-1β, iNOS와 COX-2의 발현이 낮은 dosage(1㎍/ml)에서 억제되었으며, IL-1β와 IL-6의 생성양 역시 대조군에 비하여 유의성있게 억제되었다. 결론 : 土茯령이 관절염의 병기로 작용하는 다양한 inflammatory cytokine들에 對한 抗炎證 效果를 나타냄으로써 Rheumatoid arthritis 등의 염증성 질환의 豫防과 治療에 有用하게 應用될 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 또한 이 같은 결과에 준하여 향 후 유기 용매 분획을 통하여 효과적인 단일 물질 탐색에 대한 연구가 지속되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.       • 백워드 설계에 기반한 교육과정 매핑의 사례와 시사점 탐구: 사례 연구를 중심으로

        본 연구는 학생의 학습 경험의 계획과 실제의 차이를 줄이기 위한 교육과정설계의 방법으로 백워드 설계와 교육과정 매핑의 개념과 절차를 소개하고, 백워드 설계에 기반하여 교육과정 매핑을 적용하고 있는 미국의 교육과정 매핑 시스템인 Atlas 시스템을 살펴보고 그 시사점을 탐구하는 데 초점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 문헌연구를 통해 교육과정 매핑의 개념과 방법 및 절차, 백워드 설계의 특징과 절차를 각각 살펴보고, 이를 토대로 Atlas 시스템에서 사용되고 있는 백워드 기반의 교육과정 지도 템플릿의 형식과 기존의 교육과정 매핑에서 제안한 교육과정 지도의 형식을 비교하였다. 이를 통해 학교중심 교육과정 운영에 핵심적인 요소인 교사의 교육과정 설계와 운영의 전문성을 높일 수 있는 방법과 절차에 관해 시사점을 도출하였다. This research focuses on introducing the curriculum mapping based on backward design. Curriculum mapping is an ongoing, calendar-based process involving teacher designed operational and planned learning curriculum, collaborative inquiry, and data-driven decision making. There are four types, diary map, projedted map, consensus map, essential map in curriculum mapping. While curriculum mapping is recognized as a highly effective method for serving studednts' instructional needs and creating systemic change, the means for putting this data-based decision-making process into practice is nor always clearly understood. Wiggins and McTighe refer to planning the outcome assessments first as application of backward design. We propose the method of curriculum mapping based on backward for effective student's learning and teachers' teaching. This research tries to explain the method of mixing curriculum mapping and backward design in case of Atals system. Korean teacher minding curriculum mapping and backward design may apply to curriculum design and reconstruction.
