The Investigation and 3D Numerical Simulation of Herb Roots in Reinforcing Soil and Stabilizing Slope

        Yang Yang,Jinxia Wang,Qingsong Duan,Chao Su,Mingjiao Yan,Yijia Dong 대한토목학회 2018 KSCE JOURNAL OF CIVIL ENGINEERING Vol.22 No.12

This paper investigated and simulated the mechanical effect of root reinforcing soil and stabilizing slope. The unconfined compression test was used to investigate the reinforcement soil behavior of herb roots. This paper used the 3D finite element to quantify the mechanical effect of the herb root for slope’s stability in terms of the safety factor. The soil was simulated by an elasticplastic model, and the root was simulated by a linear elastic model. Results show that using the Root Content (RC) to estimate the additional cohesion cr of Setaria sphacelata and Orchardgrass was a simple and reliable method. Lateral fine roots can play a more significant role in reinforcing soils and slopes. Compared to various slope angles, the steep slope was less stable. The slope existed a slope angle threshold αthr. When the slope angle α was smaller than αthr, the herb root system can improve the stability of slope. The α existed an optimal angle αopt for the root system. When α = αopt and α < αthr, the herb roots can exert its maximum stabilization capacity. Moreover, we can select herb species with lateral fine roots and more roots in deeper soil layer. Results can better estimate the cr for the herb of lateral fine roots and select the herb and the slope’s geometry in the engineering.

Defense Strategy of Network Security based on Dynamic Classification

( Jinxia Wei ),( Ru Zhang ),( Jianyi Liu ),( Xinxin Niu ),( Yixian Yang ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2015 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.9 No.12

In this paper, due to the network security defense is mainly static defense, a dynamic classification network security defense strategy model is proposed by analyzing the security situation of complex computer network. According to the network security impact parameters, eight security elements and classification standard are obtained. At the same time, the dynamic classification algorithm based on fuzzy theory is also presented. The experimental analysis results show that the proposed model and algorithm are feasible and effective. The model is a good way to solve a safety problem that the static defense cannot cope with tactics and lack of dynamic change.

Interleukin-22 Attenuates Acute Pancreatitis-Associated Intestinal Mucosa Injury in Mice via STAT3 Activation

        ( Jinxia Bai ),( Jinyun Bai ),( Meng Yang ) 대한소화기기능성질환·운동학회 2021 Gut and Liver Vol.15 No.5

Background/Aims: Interleukin-22 (IL-22) is an important cytokine maintaining homeostasis at barrier surfaces. In this study, the role of IL-22 in acute pancreatitis-associated intestinal injury was further explored. Methods: Severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) was induced by administration of L-arginine in Balb/c mice at different time gradients. Histopathological examinations were made in both the pancreas and small intestine. Furthermore, recombinant murine IL-22 (rIL-22) was administrated to L-arginine-induced SAP mice by intraperitoneal injection. The mRNA levels of IL-22R1, Reg-IIIβ, Reg-IIIγ, Bcl-2, and Bcl-xL were detected in the small intestine by real-time polymerase chain reaction, and protein levels of total and phosphorylated STAT3 were assessed via Western blot. Results: Compared with normal control group, 72 hours of L-arginine exposure induced the most characteristic histopathological changes of SAP, evidenced by pathological changes and serum amylase levels. Meanwhile, significant pancreatitis-associated intestinal mucosa injury was also observed. The gene expression levels of antimicrobial proteins Reg-IIIβ, Reg-IIIγ and anti-apoptosis proteins Bcl-2, Bcl-xL were downregulated in small intestine. Furthermore, Larginine- induced SAP was attenuated by rIL-22 treatment. Importantly, pancreatitis-associated intestinal mucosa injury was also ameliorated, reflected by improved pathological changes and significant increase in gene expression levels of Reg-IIIβ, Reg-IIIγ, Bcl-2 and Bcl-xL. Consistently, serum amylase levels and mortality were decreased in mice treated with rIL-22. Mechanistically, the upregulated expressions of these protective genes were achieved by activating STAT3. Conclusions: Exogenous rIL-22 attenuates L-arginine-induced acute pancreatitis and intestinal mucosa injury in mice, via activating STAT3 signaling pathway and enhancing the expression of antimicrobial peptides and antiapoptotic genes. Deep Learning-Based Modulation Detection for NOMA Systems

( Wenwu Xie ),( Jian Xiao ),( Jinxia Yang ),( Ji Wang ),( Xin Peng ),( Chao Yu ),( Peng Zhu ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2021 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.15 No.2

Since the signal with strong power need be demodulated first for successive interference cancellation (SIC) receiver in non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) systems, the base station (BS) need inform the near user terminal (UT), which has allocated higher power, of the far UT’s modulation mode. To avoid unnecessary signaling overhead of control channel, a blind detection algorithm of NOMA signal modulation mode is designed in this paper. Taking the joint constellation density diagrams of NOMA signal as the detection features, the deep residual network is built for classification, so as to detect the modulation mode of NOMA signal. In view of the fact that the joint constellation diagrams are easily polluted by high intensity noise and lose their real distribution pattern, the wavelet denoising method is adopted to improve the quality of constellations. The simulation results represent that the proposed algorithm can achieve satisfactory detection accuracy in NOMA systems. In addition, the factors affecting the recognition performance are also verified and analyzed.

      • Effect of sulfate activators on mechanical property of high replacement low-calcium ultrafine fly ash blended cement paste

        Liu, Baoju,Tan, Jinxia,Shi, Jinyan,Liang, Hui,Jiang, Junyi,Yang, Yuanxia Techno-Press 2021 Advances in concrete construction Vol.11 No.3

Due to economic and environmental benefits, increasing the substitution ratio of ordinary cement by industry by-products like fly ash (FA) is one of the best approaches to reduce the impact of the concrete industry on the environment. However, as the substitution rate of FA increases, it will have an adverse impact on the performance of cement-based materials, so the actual substitution rate of FA is limited to around 10-30%. Therefore, in order to increase the early-age strength of high replacement (30-70%) low-calcium ultrafine FA blended cement paste, sodium sulfate and calcium sulfate dihydrate were used to improve the reactivity of FA. The results show that sodium sulfate has a significant enhancement effect on the strength of the composite pastes in the early and late ages, while calcium sulfate dihydrate has only a slight effect in the late ages. The addition of sodium sulfate in the cement-FA blended system can enhance the gain rate of non-evaporation water, and can decrease the Ca(OH)2 content. In addition, when the sulfate chemical activators are added, the ettringite content increases, and the surface of the FA is dissolved and hydrated.

Ozone infusiblization and curing mechanism of polysilazane ceramic precursor fibers

        Li Xiaohong,Luo Xiaoyu,Li Jing,Li Jinxia,Yang Jiahao,Ahmad Zahoor,Bao Zhihao,Zhang Xiao,Chen Jianjun 한국세라믹학회 2023 한국세라믹학회지 Vol.60 No.5

An appropriate infusible method plays a vital role as one of the key processes of the fabrication of polymer-derived ceramic fibers. In this work, ozone curing, a novel room temperature controllable curing strategy was used to prepare SiCN ceramic fibers. Some circular pores were observed on the surface of the obtained SiCN ceramic fibers. The tensile strength of the fibers was also investigated. To reveal the ozone-curing mechanisms of the PSZ fibers and the formation process of the circular pores, the FT-IR, SEM, OM, XRD and TG were characterized. The results showed that the Si–H bonds and Si-CH3 groups in the PSZ molecule were oxidized gradually to form oxygen-containing groups such as Si–OH, Si–O-Si and C = O in the ozone curing process, which contributed to the curing and weight gain of the PSZ fibers. Moreover, a hydrolysis reaction between Si-NH-Si and H2O might further accelerate the curing of the PSZ fibers. An unexpected result of the hydrolysis reaction is the formation of some circular pores on the surface layer of the PSZ fibers. This strategy provides a method to design, adjust and control the microstructure and composition of silicon-based ceramic fibers, and the obtained SiCN fibers may be used as catalyst support, bacterial culture and other fields.
