      • Social Network Partition Method based on Concentricity-Controllable Routing

        Huang Jian-Heng,Yu Jun-Qi,Zhao Min-Hua 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Future Generation Communi Vol.9 No.4

In allusion to issues that partitioning algorithm of traditional social network community is generally lacking in comprehensive consideration of node and link attributes as well as full expression of model and mechanism using attributes of node and link. This paper presents a social network community partitioning algorithm fusing node and link attributes. The algorithm has blended similarity of node properties, link weights between nodes and link attribute information, making definition of the similar weights, and on this basis, social networking community division is realized combined with condensation algorithms. Experiments show that the algorithm has remarkable effects on community partition with obvious attributes in social network.

The potential role of COX-2 in cancer stem cell-mediated canine mammary tumor initiation: an immunohistochemical study

        Jian Huang,Di Zhang,Fuqiang Xie,Degui Lin 대한수의학회 2015 Journal of Veterinary Science Vol.16 No.2

Increasing evidence suggests that cancer stem cells (CSCs) are responsible for tumor initiation and maintenance. Additionally, it is becoming apparent that cyclooxygenase (COX) signaling is associated with canine mammary tumor development. The goals of the present study were to investigate COX-2 expression patterns and their effect on CSC-mediated tumor initiation in primary canine mammary tissues and tumorsphere models using immunohistochemistry. Patterns of COX-2, CD44, octamer-binding transcription factor (Oct)-3/4, and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) expression were examined in malignant mammary tumor (MMT) samples and analyzed in terms of clinicopathological characteristics. COX-2 and Oct-3/4 expression was higher in MMTs compared to other histological samples with heterogeneous patterns. In MMTs, COX-2 expression correlated with tumor malignancy features. Significant associations between COX-2, CD44, and EGFR were observed in low-differentiated MMTs. Comparative analysis showed that the levels of COX-2, CD44, and Oct-3/4 expression varied significantly among TSs of three histological grades. Enhanced COX-2 staining was consistently observed in TSs. Similar levels of staining intensity were found for CD44 and Oct-3/4, but EGFR expression was weak. Our findings indicate the potential role of COX-2 in CSC-mediated tumor initiation, and suggest that COX-2 inhibition may help treat canine mammary tumors by targeting CSCs.

Proton Conducting Behavior of a Novel Composite Based on Phosphosilicate/Poly(Vinyl Alcohol)

        Huang, Sheng-Jian,Lee, Hoi-Kwan,Kang, Won-Ho The Korean Ceramic Society 2005 한국세라믹학회지 Vol.42 No.2

A series of proton conductive composite membranes based on poly(vinyl alcohol) and phosphosilicate gels powders were successfully prepared. The proton conductivity of these composite was attributed to the phosphosilicate gel, which derived from tetraethoxysilane and phosphoric acid by sol-gel process at a molar ratio of P/Si = 1.5. The proton conductivity increased with increasing both the content of phosphosilicate gel and relative humidity. Temperature dependence of conductivity showed a Vogel-Tamman-Fulcher type behavior, indicating that proton was transferred through a liquidlike phase formed in micropores of phosphosilicate gel. The high conductivity of 0.065 S/cm with a membrane containing 60 wt$\%$ of the gel was obtained at $60^{\circ}C$ at $90\%$ relative humidity.

Substituent Effects of Accelerator on Nitroxide-Mediated Radical Polymerization

        Jian-ying Huang,Jia-ming Zhuang,You-si Zou 한국고분자학회 2011 Macromolecular Research Vol.19 No.8

The acceleration effect of various agents on the rate of styrene bulk polymerization in 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidinyloxy (TEMPO) mediated polymerization was investigated, including dimethyl malonate (DMM), diethyl methyl malonate (DEMM), diethyl tert-butylmalonate (DEBM), diethyl diethylmalonate (DEDEM), 3-methyl-2,4-pentanedione (MPD), acetyl malononitrile (Ac-MN), and dimethyl malononitrile (DM-MN). Polymerization with the additive proceeded in a living manner, as indicated by keeping a low polydispersity and increasing the molecular weight with the reaction time and conversion. The structure of the styrene polymerization did not change in the presence of these additives. The monomer conversion efficiency was approximately 99% and maintained a relatively narrow polydispersity of 1.29 with the optimal [Ac-MN]/[TEMPO] molar ratios of 4 in 1.5 h. With the accelerator,dipole/dipole interactions led to a weakening of the C-ON bond and an acceleration of the reaction. There is a trend for a higher polymerization rate with more electron-withdrawing substituents.

Preparation and Properties of Modified Silicon-containing Arylacetylene Resin with Bispropargyl Ether

        Jian Zhang,Jianxiang Huang,Xiaojiao Yu,Canfeng Wang,Farong Huang,Lei Du 대한화학회 2012 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.33 No.11

A novel silicon-containing arylacetylene resin (MSAR) modified by dipropargyl ether of bisphenol A (DPBPA) and dipropargyl ether of perfluorobisphenol A (DPPFBPA) was prepared separately. The curing behaviors of modified resins, DPBPA/MSAR and DPPFBPA/MSAR, were characterized with differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). The kinetic parameters of modified resins were obtained by the Kissinger and Ozawa methods. The results of dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) revealed that the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the cured DPBPA/MSAR reached 486 °C. According to the thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), the decomposition temperature (Td5) of the cured resins and char yield (Yc, 800 °C) decreased as the dipropargyl ether loadings increased, especially in air. With the same weight loading, thermal stability of DPBPA/MSAR was better than that of DPPFBPA/MSAR. The carbon fiber (T300) reinforced composites exhibited excellent flexural properties at room temperature with a high property retention at 300 °C.

Phenotypic and genomic characteristics of Brevibacterium zhoupengii sp. nov., a novel halotolerant actinomycete isolated from bat feces

        Huang Yuyuan,Dong Lingzhi,Gong Jian,Yang Jing,Lu Shan,Lai Xin-He,Jin Dong,Huang Qianni,Pu Ji,Liu Liyun,Xu Jianguo 한국미생물학회 2022 The journal of microbiology Vol.60 No.10

Two strictly aerobic, Gram-staining-positive, non-spore-forming, regular rod-shaped (approximately 0.7 × 1.9 mm) bacteria (HY170T and HY001) were isolated from bat feces collected from Chongzuo city, Guangxi province (22°20 54 N, 106°49 20 E, July 2011) and Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan province (25°09 10 N, 102°04 39 E, October 2013) of South China, respectively. Optimal growth is obtained at 25–28°C (range, 4–32°C) on BHI-5% sheep blood plate with pH 7.5 (range, 5.0–10.0) in the presence of 0.5– 1.0% NaCl (w/v) (range, 0–15% NaCl [w/v]). The phylogenetic and phylogenomic trees based respectively on the 16S rRNA gene and 845 core gene sequences revealed that the two strains formed a distinct lineage within the genus Brevibacterium, most closely related to B. aurantiacum NCDO 739T (16S rRNA similarity, both 98.5%; dDDH, 46.7–46.8%; ANI, 91.9–92.1%). Strain HY170T contained MK-8(H2), diphosphatidylglycerol (DPG) and phosphatidylglycerol (PG), galactose and ribose as the predominant menaquinone, major polar lipids, and main sugars in the cell wall teichoic acids, respectively. The meso-diaminopimelic acid (meso-DAP) was the diagnostic diamino acid of the peptidoglycan found in strain HY170T. Anteiso-C15:0 and anteiso-C17:0 were the major fatty acids (> 10%) of strains HY170T and HY001, with anteiso-C17:1A predominant in strain HY170T but absent in strain HY001. Mining the genomes revealed the presence of secondary metabolite biosynthesis gene clusters encoding for non-alpha poly-amino acids (NAPAA), ectoine, siderophore, and terpene. Based on results from the phylogenetic, chemotaxonomic and phenotypic analyses, the two strains could be classified as a novel species of the genus Brevibacterium, for which the name Brevibacterium zhoupengii sp. nov. is proposed (type strain HY170T = CGMCC 1.18600T = JCM 34230T).

Detection of Bearing/Rail Defects for Linear Motion Stage Using Acoustic Emission

Huang Jian,안중환,이효렬 한국정밀공학회 2013 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol. No.

This paper is about development of an AE signal-based monitoring system for detecting defects on the bearings and rails of an LMS which is widely used in the automated production lines. It is examined whether the defects really contribute to generation of the AE signal and what frequency components of the AE signal are closely related to the defects. The cepstrum analysis is adopted to get a time interval of the purely defect-driven AE wavelets, which is compared with the theoretical interval based on the kinematic modeling of LM rail and bearing of an LMS. From the defect-driven AE wavelet picked up from a series of AE signal, the frequency features very unique to each defect of Bearing/Rail are extracted. The features are grouped three bands, that is, 100-150, 150-200,400-450 kHz. Three-band power spectrum shows different patterns each other for normal, rail defect, small bearing defect and worse bearing defect. Through these experiments, it is verified that AE signal is useful to detect the bearing/rail defect and a couple of bands around the AE frequency features can be used as a real-time monitoring device for the status monitoring of LMS.

Preparation and Characterization of Composite Membrane for Low Temperature Direct Methanol Fuel Cells

        Huang Sheng-Jian,Lee Hoi-Kwan,Kang Won-Ho,Wu Qing The Korean Microelectronics and Packaging Society 2004 마이크로전자 및 패키징학회지 Vol.11 No.4

A series of $H_3PO_4$-doped composite membranes based on poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA) and silica have been prepared by sol-gel process. The proton conductivity, as well as properties of swelling, methanol permeation, was measured in this study. The proton conductivity increased with the molar ratio of $H_3PO_4$ to silica. With the silica content increasing, swelling degree decreased and methanol permeability showed a slight increase. It suggested that the former was mainly determined by hydrophilicity of the membrane, while the latter was dominated by the interconnectivity of matrix. According to the value of on, the optimal conformations of these composite membranes were 60, 70, 80 wt.$\%$ of PS-x in membranes, where x were 1.5, 1.0, and 0.5, respectively. These composite membranes were thermal stability up to $200^{\circ}C$.
