      • 3차원 접촉식 측정기구의 네트웍을 통한 형상 복원에 관한 연구

        The authors have realized reconstruction of 3D shape using contacting method with pins and TCP/IP communication. In this paper, the working principal of the mechanism is proposed and tested. A special sensor system is designed as 148 matrix form to measure 3D shape. When contact occurs between pin and the plate of the sensor matrix, the position information of pins is sent to computer and raised height data of the pin is obtained by counter which accumlates encoder signal. So, all datum which contain 3-dimensional coordinate, is transferred using TCP/IP communication. Finally, 3D shape is reconstructured by Web browser of remote computer. The measuring result shows that the proposed mechanism is reliable and promising as a remote measuring device through Internet.

        酸棗仁이 CT105에 의한 신경세포 상해 및 白鼠의 기억에 미치는 영향

        Objective: This study was designed to research whether demonstrate neuroprotective and memory enhancing effects of Z1BU, suggesting its beneficial actions for the treatment of AD. Methods: The present study investigated effects of the dichloromethane extract of Semen Zizyphi Spinosae(ZIBU) on neurotoxicity and reactive oxygen species(ROS) and nitric oxide(NO) formation in PC 12 cell line overexpressed with carboxyl-terminal 105 amino acid peptide fragment of amyloid precursor protein(CT105). In addition, the present study evaluated its radical scavenging activity and effects on acetylcholinesterase(AChE) activity. Furthermore, effects on neuronal loss in CAl area and cognitive deficits induced by scopolamine treatment were also evaluated in rats. Result: we found in this study that ZIBU significantly inhibited apoptotic neuronal death induced by CT105 overexpression in PC12 cells, with the IC_(50) value of 23 ㎍/ml. Based on phase-contrast and fluorescence microscopic examinations, ZIBU reversed morphological changes of CT105-expressed PC-12 cells. It was also found that Z1BU significantly induced neurite outgrowth and inhibited formation of ROS and NO.Z1BU scavenged DPPH radicals and inhibited AChE activity. Furthermore, it attenuated memory impairment induced by the injection of scopolamine in rats, based on passive avoidance test. Crystal violet staining of rat brain slices exhibited increase in the viability of pyramidal neurons in hippocampal CAI area. Conclusion: these results demonstrate neuroprotective and memory enhancing effects of ZIBU, suggesting its beneficial actions for the treatment of AD.

        본 논문은 혼돈함수의 동역학적 성질을 연구하는 데 필요한 혼돈의 4가지 개념들을 소개하고 그와 관련하여 연속함수 공간 상에서 자취, 궤도 주기점, Omega 극한 집합 등을 이용하여 위상적 전이성, 초기조건들에 대한 민감한 의존성, 주기점의 조밀성을 정의하고, Devaney, Li와 Yorke, Block과 Coppel, 그리고 Bruckner와 Ceder가 도입한 혼돈들 사이의 관계를 연구하였으며 그 실제적인 예도 조사하였다.

      • Screening of lethal genes for feeding RNAi by leaf disc-mediated systematic delivery in Tetranychus urticae

        The screening of effective lethal genes was conducted via the systemic delivery of dsRNA for the RNAi-based management of Tetranychus urticae. Six candidate genes (COPI coatmer, T_COPI; ESCRT III_Snf7, T_SNF7; Ribosomal protein S4, T_RPS4; v-ATPase A subunit 2, T_V-ATPase; Aminopeptidase N, T_APN3; Acetylcholinesterase, T_AChE) and two reference genes (EGFP and T_AChEintron) were tested for the experiment. The permeated dsRNA to the leaf disc (ca. 30 mm diameter) was detected at 6 h after treatment, indicating that dsRNA could move through veins on the leaf. In the reference gene selection, the T_AChEintron was chosen for its low mortality compared with EGFP gene. In the evaluation of mortality, the T_COPI, T_V-ATPase and T_RPS4 exerted higher toxicities at 24 hour after treatment among six genes tested. Interestingly, T_APN3 showed toxicity after 72 hour. In summary, the dsRNA delivery via leaf disc was effective in screening lethal genes and some genes, such as COPI, V-ATPase and RPS4, can be applicable for establishing a RNAi-based control system against T. urticae.

      • Dispersion of beliefs, Macroeconomic uncertainty, and the Cross-section of stock returns

        This paper empirically finds that dispersion of beliefs about the business cycle matters in asset pricing. We construct dispersion of beliefs as the log of cross-sectional dispersion of real GDP forecasts. This measure positively predicts macroeconomic volatility and the investment opportunity set, and lowers down asset prices. In the cross-section, we show that macroeconomic uncertainty is negatively priced. Additionally, the portfolio sorting approach yields 5.2% of the return spread annually, and in turn reveals that stocks less correlated with dispersion of beliefs earns higher returns. Overall evidence highlights the importance of the uncertainty underlying the fluctuation of the economy in asset pricing.

        농산물 직거래 유통채널별 저해요인 분석과 활성화 방안

        Purpose – This paper is for the Analysis on the Hindrance Factors and Activation Scheme by the Type of Distribution Channel in Direct transaction of Agricultural Products. As the distribution structure of agricultural products has become changable, farmers seem to use the type of direct distribution in order to enhance the receiving price. This study aims to explore the hindrance factors and income variation rate in direct transaction of agricultural produces, specifically focusing on the 167 farmers. Research design, data, and methodology - To ascertain the hindrance factors exactly by the type of distribution channel, the managements were classified by four subcategories, that is high sales percentage with shopping malls, SNS, shopping malls and SNS, and off-line direct transaction. Results – As a result of the hypothesis test, hinderance factors in online direct deal activation were found to be in the order of the difficulty in continuous content production, the difficulty in shopping mall operation and maintenance, and the difficulty in card commission problems, and in the order of the difficulties in continuous content production, the difficulty in continuous content production, the difficulty in shopping mall operation and maintenance, and the difficulty in branding for the SNS group. Thus, it can be seen that the difficulty in continuous content production, shopping mall operation and maintenance were found to be the biggest obstacles. In addition, hindering factors in online direct deal activation were found to be in the order of the difficulty in credit card settlement, the difficulty in publicity, and the difficulty in dealing with unsold goods. The group with high sales rate in shopping mall was found to be increased by 23.9% in the gross income compared to the previous year, the group with high SNS sales ratio increased by 56.5%, the group with direct offline transaction increased by 37.1%, among which the group with the highest increase rate of SNS sales ratio was found to be the highest from the rate of increase/decrease of the income, which was statistically significant. Conclusions – It can be suggested that government and local government may provide agricultural management with supporting plan which in turn can activate direct transaction in any possible ways.

      • Abnormal Trading Volume and the Cross-Section of Stock Returns

        Stocks with high trading volume outperform otherwise stocks for one week, but subsequently underperform at the longer horizon. We show that such time-varying predictability of trading volume is attributed to abnormal trading activity, which is not explained by past volume. Specifically, we find that the return forecasting power of abnormal trading activity is strongly positive up to five weeks ahead. In contrast, the predictive power of the expected trading activity is negative, and lasts for longer horizons. We further argue that behavioral biases and investors’ attention induces abnormal trading activity, but its price impact is primarily related to behavioral biases. Overall evidence emphasizes the role of behavioral biases and investors’ attention to explain trading volume.

        Pillar Type Silicon-Oxide-Nitride-Oxide-Silicon Flash Memory Cells with Modulated Tunneling Oxide

        In this paper, we fabricated 3D pillar type silicon-oxide-nitride-oxide-silicon (SONOS) devices for high density flash applications. To solve the limitation between erase speed and data retention of the conventional SONOS devices, bandgap-engineered (BE) tunneling oxide of oxide-nitride-oxide configuration is integrated with the 3D structure. In addition, the tunneling oxide is modulated by another method of $N_2$ ion implantation ($N_2$ I/I). The measured data shows that the BE-SONOS device has better electrical characteristics, such as a lower threshold voltage ($V_{\tau}$) of 0.13 V, and a higher $g_{m.max}$ of 18.6 ${\mu}A/V$ and mobility of 27.02 $cm^2/Vs$ than the conventional and $N_2$ I/I SONOS devices. Memory characteristics show that the modulated tunneling oxide devices have fast erase speed. Among the devices, the BE-SONOS device has faster program/erase (P/E) speed, and more stable endurance characteristics, than conventional and $N_2$ I/I devices. From the flicker noise analysis, however, the BE-SONOS device seems to have more interface traps between the tunneling oxide and silicon substrate, which should be considered in designing the process conditions. Finally, 3D structures, such as the pillar type BE-SONOS device, are more suitable for next generation memory devices than other modulated tunneling oxide devices.

      • Monitoring of carbamate and organophosphate resistance levels based on bioassay and quantitative sequencing in Nilaparvata lugens

        The resistance levels against carbamates (CB) and organophosphates (OP) were determined through bioassay and quantitative sequencing (QS) methods in 16 field populations of Nilaparvata lugens. The resistance levels to CB and OP by bioassay were 1.3~47.5-fold and 1.4~14.4-fold higher than a susceptible strain, respectively. The QS protocol was established to determine the allele frequencies of eight point mutations on acetylcholinesterase putatively associated CB and OP resistance. The allele frequencies of four mutations in local populations (G119A, F/S330Y, F331H and I332L) ranged from ca. 0.0~51.7%, 1.0~44.3%, 8.5~57.3% and 7.12~56.6%, respectively. The average prediction limits were –9.6±5.1~7.7±2.9%. The F330Y, F331H and I332L were tightly linked each other, suggesting these mutations may occur simultaneously. In the correlation analysis, G119A was not well correlated with both insecticides (r2= less 0.25), whereas F/S330Y, F331H and I332L showed better correlation with the resistance levels of carbamate (r2=0.590) than organophosphate (r2=0.235). This finding indicates that F/S330Y, F331H and I332L mutation frequencies are suitable for detecting carbamate resistance in N. lugens. QS will be applicable for the rapid monitoring of resistance levels to CB insecticides in N. lugens.
