The Purpose of this study was to survey the geographical distribution of the scenery and form of scenery-word in japan. Analysis data was used 2,000 scenery by collected 236 places. The results were as follows; The use of the scenery-word was 1,400 scenery of 1,945 scenery and a similarity type of So-Sang Pal-Kyung of them showed 1,046 scenery(74.7%). The scenery-word of a scenic spot relate to the name of a places showed 545 scenery(28.0%) of them. Scenery composition elements showed natural(76.3%), artificial(l9.7%), human(2.5%) in the order. In the natural elements showed change(40.4%), fixed(24.6%), moving(l1.3%). In the artificial elements showed fixed(l3.6%), moving(6.1 %). The scenery-word by season showed winter(48.5%), fall(43.0%), spring(6.7%), summer(1.8%). By time, night(95.1 %) ranked the highest position. The scenery-word of the daylight was not showed. Classified by the five senses, sight(66.9%) ranked the highest position, and hearing(27.0%), touch(2.9%), taste(1.1 %), smell(0.5%) in the order.
