Curvature of multiply warped products with an affine connection
Yong Wang 대한수학회 2013 대한수학회보 Vol.50 No.5
In this paper, westudy the Einstein multiply warped products with a semi-symmetric non-metric connection and the multiply warp\-ed products with a semi-symmetric non-metric connection with constant scalar curvature, we apply our results to generalized Robertson-Walker spacetimes with a semi-symmetric non-metric connection and generalized Kasner spacetimes with a semi-symmetric non-metric connection and find some new examples of Einstein affine manifolds and affine manifolds with constant scalar curvature. We also consider the multiply warped products with an affine connection with a zero torsion.

C-doped BiVO4 with self-heterostructure were synthesized via a facile one-step microwave-hydrothermal route at different reaction temperatures and reaction times. The crystal structure, morphology and photophysical properties of the samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field-emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) and UV-Vis techniques. The photocatalytic properties of the samples were evaluated by the decolorization of rhodamine B under ultraviolet light or simulated visible light irradiation. It was found that pure BiVO4 polyhedrons had a monoclinic structure while C-doped BiVO4 had self-heterostructure with both monoclinic and tetragonal phase. This mixed-phase structure exhibited higher activity than monoclinic structure under ultraviolet light irradiation while monoclinic C-doped BiVO4 had better photocatalytic property under simulated visible light irradiation. The selectivity of the light source with different C-doped BiVO4 self-heterostructures was also discussed in this work.
The Solution for Cooperative Beamforming Design in MIMO Multi-way Relay Networks
( Yong Wang ),( Hao Wu ),( Liyang Tang ),( Hui Li ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2015 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.9 No.3
In this paper, we study the design of network coding for the generalized transmit scheme in multiple input multiple output Y channel, where K users wish to exchange specified and shared information with each other within two slots. Signal space alignment at each user and the relay is carefully constructed to ensure that the signals from the same user pair are grouped together. The cross-pair interference can be canceled during both multiple accessing channel phase and broadcasting channel phase. The proposed signal processing scheme achieves the degrees of η(K)=K2 freedom of with fewer user antennas.
China’s Practice in Treaty Reservations since 1949: Legal and Policy Evaluation
Yong Wang 이준국제법연구원 2017 Journal of East Asia and International Law Vol.10 No.2
Since its founding in 1949, the People’s Republic of China has acceded to more than 300 multilateral treaties. Among them, China made reservations to 83 treaties, accounting for nearly 27.7 percent of the total. Evidently, for China, formulating reservations to multilateral treaties is an issue of vital importance in the process of concluding and executing multilateral treaties. This paper examines the three main reasons why China inclines to formulate reservations to the treaties, then argues that the reservations formulated by China, whether in procedure or in substance, are not only in full conformity with the 1969 Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties, but also full of Chinese characteristics. This paper also analyzes several specific reservations that China shall withdraw, and addresses the limitations of China’s existing treaty reservation system. Accordingly, this paper concludes that the Chinese government should improve and perfect its treaty reservation system with some suggestions.
Stationary Distribution for the Mobilities in Catastrophe Rescue Scenario
( Yong Wang ),( Wei Peng ),( Qiang Dou ),( Zhenghu Gong ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2013 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.7 No.2
Mobility Model has drawn more and more attentions since its critical role in Mobile Wireless Networks performance evaluation. This paper analyzes the mobility patterns in the catastrophe rescue scenario, and proposes the Random Waypoint with Base Point mobility model to model these characteristics. We mathematically analyze the speed and spatial stationary distributions of the nodes and derive explicit expressions for the one dimensional case. In order to keep the stationary distribution through the entire simulation procedure, we provide strategies to initialize the speed, location and destination of the nodes at the beginning of the simulation. The simulation results verify the derivations and the proposed methods in this paper. This work gives a deep understanding of the properties of the Random Waypoint with Base Point mobility model and such understanding is necessary to avoid misinterpretation of the simulation results. The conclusions are of practical value for performance analysis of mobile wireless networks, especially for the catastrophe rescue scenario.
High Power Continuous-Wave and Graphene Q-switched Operation of Er:YAG Ceramic Lasers at ~1.6 μm
Yong Wang,Hao Chen,Deyuan Shen,Jian Zhang,Dingyuan Tang 한국광학회 2013 Current Optics and Photonics Vol.17 No.1
We report on high-power continuous-wave operations of an Er:YAG ceramic laser in-band pumped by a cladding-pumped Er,Yb fiber laser at 1532 nm. With an output coupler of 10% transmission, the ceramic laser yielded 16.7 W of continuous-wave output at 1645 nm for 28.8 W of incident pump power, corresponding to a slope efficiency of 61.0% with respect to the incident pump power. The lasing wavelength switched to 1617 nm when output couplers of > 20% transmission were used. Up to 16.2W of 1617 nm output was generated for 33.0 W of incident pump power, corresponding to a slope efficiency of 51.8%. Graphene Q-switched operation of Er:YAG cermic laser at 1645 nm was also demonstrated with stable pulses of 30-74 kHz repetition rates and 1.5-6.4 μs pulse widths.
Image post-processed approaches for cavitating flow in orifice plate
Yong Wang,Suguo Zhuang,Houlin Liu,Zhenjiang Zhao,Matevž Dular,Jian Wang 대한기계학회 2017 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.31 No.7
A comprehensive investigation on cavitating flow and cavitation-induced erosion was performed experimentally in an orifice plate system. Three image post-processed approaches were applied to analyze the test data, in order to obtain the cavitation characteristics. The cavitating flow pattern was studied by high speed images. In one cavitation developing period, there could be three distinct cavitation clouds, whereas the second one is not fully developed. The first image post-processing approach was applied to obtain the mean value and standard deviation distribution, which indicate the erosion area may cover almost all the cavitation developing route and the most vulnerable erosion area locates near the cavitation collapse site. It is coincides with the erosion tests analyzed through the pit-count algorithm approach. The cavitation circulation frequency was invested via PSD analysis approach. It shows that the frequency linearly decreasing with decreasing cavitation number. Additionally, the cavitation intensity effect on cavitation erosion was quantitatively studied based. It is found that the damages are strongly enhanced when increasing the flow velocity. Moreover, the growth rate of eroded pits number is actually stepwise instead of linear (similar to our previous work in a venturi tube), which supports the idea that the cloud cavitation collapse is the primary reason for erosion. The present approaches applied here shows good potential ability of investigating cavitating flows and can be utilized for other apparatus.
