Objective: Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is often associated with transient hypertension and tachycardia. Acute hemodynamic change may produce serious complications. Remifentanil is a potent ultra short acting opioid and has been found to reduce blood pressure and heart rate. The goal of this study was to evaluate effects of remifentanil on seizure duration, recovery parameters and hemodynamic changes during ECT. Methods: Ten ASA Ⅰ, Ⅱ patients enrolled in this prospective, randomized trial, each receiving more than four electroconvulsive therapy. Patients were randomized to receive placebo, group P (propofol 1mg/kg+0.9% normal saline 1ml, n=10), and propofol with remifentanil, group R (propofol 1mg/kg+remifentanil 1ug/Kg n=10). Supplemental dose of propofol was given as required to achieve loss of consciousness. We recorded hemodynamic parameters, seizure duration, and recovery parameters. Results: Seizure duration and recovery parameters were similar in group R and group P. Blood pressure and Hear rate after ECT were significantly lower in group R. Conclusions: Remifentanil(1ug/kg) attenuated the acute hemodynamic response to ECT under propofol anesthesia without adversely affecting the duration of seizure activity and recovery profile. Adjunctive use of remifentanil may be good alternative regimens for ECT.

The explosive growth of the internet-based transactions requires not only a secure payment system but also an appropriate trust measuring methodology and secure transaction protocols to guarantee the minimal risk for the transacting entities involved in specific transaction. Especially, in internet auction systems where either buyers or sellers or both can be more than one in one transaction, providing those system that make sure no one transacting entity takes a major risk becomes critical. In this paper, an improved trust measuring method using a relationship-based internet community for an auction system is proposed. The proposed system incorporates fuzzy set and calculation concepts to help build trust matrices and models, which is used to measure the level of risk involved in a specific auction trade concerned. Also, to optimize the auction trade process in terms of cost and time, the proposed system recommends a differentiated trade protocol according to the risk level involved in each auction trade. To test the appropriateness of the proposed trusted auction system, a prototype system has been developed under a Widows-NT environment.

肉牛에 있어서 호르몬 劑製處理가 繁殖障碍牛 治療效果에 미치는 影響

This experiment was carried out to investigate effect of hormone analogues treatment on the ovarian response and fertility in reproductive disorder heifers. The experimental animals were Charolais and Hereford breed which did not show the estrus symptom at the optimum age for first breeding. Distribution rates of reproductive disorder were ovarian atrphy 32%, persistens C.L 18%, Lutein eyst 21.3%, Follicular cyst 27.9% respectively. The induction rate of estrus by use hormone analogue was 78.8% and conception rate was 70.8% among the heifer which show the estrus symptom after treatment of hormone analogues. In the repeat breeder, the conception rate was 36.8% and was higher in the heifer which have short period of anestrus than that of long period heifer.

전신마취 후 발생한 악성고열증 환자의 치료 경험

Malignant hyperthermia is the disorder of calcium regulation within skeletal muscle associated predominantly with anesthesia. It is triggered by volatile anesthetics and depolarizing neuromuscular blocking agents. We experienced a case of malignant hyperthermia. 50 years old female patient was transferred to our emergency room that she was developed tachyarrhythmia and high fever. She was taken arthroscopic examination under the general anesthesia with enflurane and succinylcholine. We suspected malignant hyperthermia and promptly treated her with dantrolene sodium. She was developed disseminated intravascular coagulopathy and acute renal failure then we were intensive care to her. She was discharged without sequela. We experienced successful management of malignant hyperthermia.

Electric ballast is widely used to turn on the fluorescent. Electric ballast measures occurrence of harmonic through the actual measurement and it is simulated by modeling equivalent circuit for harmonic analysis. The purpose of this paper is to give an equivalent circuit modeling methodology for the harmonic currents generated by single-phase loads to evaluate a commercially available series resonant filter for the harmonic currents compensation based on the IEC std 61000-3-2 and IEEE 519-1992 standards for limiting harmonic distortion.

B2C 전자상거래상의 사기범죄에 관한 탐색적 연구 : An Exploratory Study

This study aims to present a framework for the analysis of various instances of frauds regarding on the B2C electronic commerce, one of the cyber crimes from among the phenomena of diverse adverse effects of the Internet. The framework arranges these fraud instances on a simple cross- tabulation that consists of four distinctive types: Consumers-Goods, Consumers-Services, Business-Goods, and Business-Services. The characteristics of the types were investigated by making a comprehensive examination of the instances by the types. The ways to prevent the frauds that belong to both consumers-goods and consumers-services were discussed in the normative aspect, while those to obviate the frauds of associated with the business-goods and business-services were discussed in the legal aspect.

This study aims to estimate the efficiency of soybean production using Data Envelopment Analysis, analyze the characteristics of efficient soybean agriculture using Tobit model, and calculate the efficient input-output levels of inefficient farmers using a frontier isoquant curve on the technical efficiency measures. The main results of this study are as follows: first, the technical and scale efficiency measures of the soybean farming were 0.832, 0.919, respectively; second, the average excessive levels of input cost are 9.1 hundred thousand won in 25 inefficient farmers.

경막 천자 후 두통 치료 목적의 자가 혈액 봉합술 시행 중 발생한 기뇌증

A 57-year-old woman who was suffered from chronic back pain and radiating pain to left leg visited the local pain clinic. An accidental dural puncture happened at the L4-5 intervertebral space during the procedure with the loss of resistance technique using air. The epidural needle was removed, and a new insertion was done at the L3-4 intervertebral space with administration of the 0.5% lidocaine 8 ml mixed triamcinolone 40 mg. On the next day, she visited again the local pain clinic with complaining of headache. During an epidural autologuous blood patch procedure, she complained of a severe headache, nausea, vomiting, and developed generalized tremor of abrupt onset. There was no evidence of a dural puncture during the procedure. She was referred to our hospital at once. A brain CT scan showed air-filled cavities in basal cistern. She was given conservative treatment during 14 days. After 10 days, follow up brain CT scan showed no air-filled cavity in basal cistern. She was discharged from our hospital without complications.

한국ㆍ대만ㆍ중국ㆍ조선 재무제표의 비교 연구

This study is a comparative study of four different nations-Korea, Taiwan, China, DPRK-financial statements. It consists of financial statements preparing criteria and those forms and systems. This study found as follows. ①There are distinctive differences in financial statements between two different economic systems so called market economic system and planning economic system. ②Those differences include financial statements preparing criteria and those forms and systems along with elements and account classification of financial statements. ③There is also distinctive differences in elements and account classification of financial statements along with the difference of expense classification and revenue determination method between Chinese financial statements and DPRK's financial statements even if those nations have same socialist economic system as an accounting environment.
