This study analyzes a complex chaos disappearance generated in a Bonhoeffer-van der Pol oscillator subjected to weak periodic perturbations. We illustrate several one-parameter bifurcation diagrams, and assert that chaos disappearance occur in a complicated manner.

Domain structrues in 0:72Pb(In1=2Nb1=2)O3-0.28PbTiO3[0.72PIN-0.28PT]mixed crystal was investigated by a polarized light microscopy. It was found that the (001) plate of 0.72PIN-0.28PT single crystal near a morphotropic phase boundary (MPB) exhibits complex domain structures, which consist of both the rhombohedral and the tetragonal phase intimately mixed together. The change in domain structures, re ecting the successive rhombohedral-tetragonal-cubic phase transition with heating was observed. The temperature dependence of the birefringence in 0.72PIN-0.28PT single crystal near a MPB was also presented. The change in domain structures in the (001) plate of 0.72PIN-0.28PT with the phase transition from rhombohedral to tetragonal ind훔

Naohiko Harada,Manami Hirowatari,Eikichi Ihara,Etsuko Ishihara,Mitsuko Inoue,Tomoya Miyamura,Makoto Nakamuta 대한소화기내시경학회 2020 Clinical Endoscopy Vol.53 No.6
A 43-year-old man with rheumatic arthritis was admitted to our hospital for symptoms of cough, left chest pain, and leftelbow pain, and further examination revealed an elevated level of C-reactive protein. On day 2 after admission, he underwentesophagogastroduodenoscopy. On the morning of day 7, he developed a high fever of 39.7°C, several hours after bronchoscopy. Onday 13, he underwent colonoscopy. Five minutes after the colonoscopy, he developed a high fever of 39.9°C, accompanied by stridor, indicating a decrease in arterial oxygen saturation level. An intradermal test for peracetic acid which was used for cleaning flexibleendoscopy was positive. We suspect that he suffered from an allergic reaction to peracetic acid following the flexible endoscopy. This is the first case reported on suspicious allergic reaction to peracetic acid following a flexible endoscopy procedure.
Performance evaluation of WC-C peritectic high-temperature fixed point
Naohiko Sasajima,Yoshiro Yamada 제어로봇시스템학회 2009 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2009 No.8
WC-C peritectic fixed point (2749 oC) was investigated to evaluate their potential of serving ashigh-temperature reference points in thermometry. Four WC-C peritectic cells were constructed and the melting and freezing plateaus were evaluated by means of radiation thermometer. The repeatability of the melting temperature of onecell was 0.011 K with the melting range of 0.117 K. The melting temperatures of four different cells were agreed within0.05 K. The long term stability of WC-C cell was also evaluated by the realization of 45 melt/freeze cycles. The standard deviation of 45 melting temperatures was 0.034 K including the instability of LP3. From these results, it can be concluded that WC-C peritectic fixed point has a high potential to be used as a high temperature reference point. The microstructure analyses of WC-C peritectic cells by means of optical microscopy and electron-probe microanalysis (EPMA) showed the segregation of the graphite in the WC-C cell.
The Effect of Pressure on the Poling Condition in Lead-based Relaxor Ferroelectric Solid Solutions
Naohiko Yasuda,Naoki Miyazono,Hidehiro Ohwa,Yoshihito Tachi,Yohachi Yamashita,Kazuhiko Fujita,Makoto Iwata,Yoshihiro Ishibashi 한국물리학회 2011 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.59 No.31
Topographic images for the domain structures of etched surfaces of PMNT ceramics were observed: ① Flattened fine domain structures with domains of about 50 nm or less in size along the poling direction due to the 180 domain reversal were seen in rhombohedral (74/26), (72/28), and (69/31) ceramics. ② Stereographical fine domain structures with projected domains of about 50 nm or less in size along some directions due to non-180˚ domain reversal, as well as 180˚ domain reversal were seen in the (67/33) ceramic near a MPB composition. Pressure-induced suppression of the electromechanical response occurred at the depoling pressure p_d = 590 MPa for PMNT (67/33) and at p_d = 400 MPa for PMNT (69/31). The poling for the PMNT (72/28) ceramic under a pressure of 600 MPa above pd was done under decreasing pressure at 10 kV/cm at room temperature. The resonance frequency fr and the antiresonance frequency fa decreased to f_r = 121.74 kHz and f_a = 124.03 kHz, the electromechanical coupling coefficient k31 decreased to 20.5%, and the maximum phase angle θ_m decreased to 12˚ compared to f_r = 131.32 kHz and f_a = 135.37 kHz, k31 = 26.8% and θ_m = 52˚ for normal poling. The topographic images of the etched surface of PMNT (72/28) poled under pressure was characterized with stereographical fine domain structures with projected domains of about 100 nm or less in size along some directions due to non-180 domain switching. A poling process using depoling pressure, as well as the well-known normal poling using depoling temperature, is applicable for ferroelectric materials.

The piezoelectric properties of a Pb[(Zn1=3Nb2=3)0:91]Ti0:09O3 single crystal along the [001] direction in the rhombohedral phase were investigated under pressures of up to 500 MPa. The pressure dependence of electromechanical coupling factors in the k31 and k33 mode, k31 and k33, the resonance frequency fr and the antiresonance frequency fa, elastic compliances s11 E and s33 E, and the mechanical quality factor Qm are presented. The k31 decreases greatly with pressure, while the k33 decreases slightly.
A New Logic Circuit Design Methodology with UML
Naohiko Shimizu,Masami Ikura,Warangrat Wiriya,Sorawat Chivapreecha 대한전자공학회 2009 ITC-CSCC :International Technical Conference on Ci Vol.2009 No.7
In this paper we propose a new digital system design methodology which applies UML class diagrams on hardware design. We will use UML tools to model hierarchical hardware modules. We defined some attributes and visibilities for this purpose. In this paper, we also propose an automatic skeleton generator for hardware description language from UML. It utilizes XMI (XML Meta data Interchange format) as the input which is the standard interchange format for UML from OMG. Therefore, we can use any UML draw tools to design our hardware which can export the diagram as an XMI. This process consists of two tools one will convert XMI to extended SFL (we call it NSL), and the other will convert the NSL to SystemC or VerilogHDL or VHDL. Therefore, we can use SystemC for verification, and VerilogHDL for FPGA implementation.
