The purpose of this research was to analyze the correlation of the characteristics of dwellers and residential satisfaction in apartment housing. The contents of this research is to identify characteristics of dwellers, which might have an influence on residential satisfaction in apartment housing. In conclusion, the number of a family, the floor level, the size of housing unit and tenure had statistically significant correlations with the residential satisfaction in apartment housing.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the relations between the evaluation of users and the characteristics of site planning patterns of commercial facilities in apartment housing estates through the case study of 75 samples which were built from 1997 to 1998 in Korea. The contents of this research consist of two main parts. The first part is to classify the site planning patterns of commercial facilities into four types, based on the number of building units, collectivity, locations and unit plan of commercial facilities. The second part is to analyze the correlations between these types and the satisfaction of users in the distance, the variety of stores, collectivity, locations of commercial facilities, while characterizing the evaluation of users in apartment housing estates. In conclusion, this research will contribute to establish the planning methods of commercial facilities in apartment housing estates and to promote the quality of residential environment in Korea.

In this study, the potential energy and limitation of the facility of Chungju national university are analyzed in the respect of human knowledge, nature, and visual environment. In addition, the effctiveness and problem of the existing master plan are evaluated through the investigation on the main hart and development procedure of the previous master plan of CJU. These results are compared and reflected to the plan of Vision 2003, e-STRR2010 and effective campus development plans of CJU are presented.

Purpose-The smart growth principle is proposed as a way to cope with the disorderly spread of the sea port city. The purpose is to derive planning elements for the sea port city regeneration that apply the smart growth principle. Research design- In the case of Jeju City, the Old Downtown surrounding Jeju Port showed a hollowing out of the city center. The competitiveness of the Old Downtown has weakened, losing its status as an economic center and deriving various urban problems. Therefore, this study uses smart growth principles to derive elements of the sea port city regeneration planning. data and methodology- 179 elements were finally selected through FGI techniques from planning elements obtained through prior research. A panel of 43 experts was selected and Delphi was used. Result-The results of the first Delphi survey showed that 179 planning elements were refined into 97 planning elements. The second Delphi survey also confirmed 97 planning elements as final 53 planning elements. The large class was finally selected for environmental, infrastructure and institutional, social and economic aspects. The Middle class was classified as smart environment, protection of ecological environment, harmony of environment and landscape in environmental aspect, open space. In infrastructure and institutional aspects, urban design, compressive and complex land use, support system, regenerative integration system hick and practice, social aspect is Amenity, safety, pedestrian-oriented space, and economic aspect is industrial infrastructure, marine tourism city, smith port, and utilization of historical space. The Subclass was confirmed to be 53. Conclusion -The number of planning elements for the the sea port city regeneration has been finalized at 53. In this process, some similar items have not been refined in classifying into The large class, The Middle class and The Subclass. Also, the fact that the Delphi open survey did not collect various views on Jeju Island s characteristics is a limitation of this study. In particular, there are academic limitations from various perspectives that there is a strong tendency to rely on the Delphi survey.
Predicting Moment Carrying Capacity of the "sagae" Connection Using the Finite Element Method

The goal of this study is to analyze the effects of geometries of mortise and tenon on moment carrying capacity of the “sagae” connection. Effects of different tenon widths, mortise depths of connection from the top and bottom beams on stress distribution were investigated using the finite element method (FEM). Critical normal and shear stresses occurred at the reentrant corner from the mortise of the bottom beam. The maximum moment carrying capacity of the sagae connection from the FEM was validated from the results of experimental test. Maximizing moment carrying capacity of the sagae connection was found when the tenon width and mortise depth from the two beams were 40 mm and 60 mm, respectively.

LCD Backlight 구동 응용을 위한 새로운 인버터 회로 Topology인 Dual Active Clamp Forward (ACF) Inverter를 제안한다. 제안된 회로는 LCD의 광원 역할을 하는 냉음극 형광 램프(Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp, CCFL) 구동을 위한 회로로서, 넓은 입력 범위 및 부하 범위에서도 영 전압 스위칭 동작을 보장하며, 출력 AC 전류의 대칭성을 보장한다. 더욱이 기존 Symmetric Phase Shift Full Bridge방식은 특허 우선순위가 있는 방법으로써, Dual ACF Inverter를 사용할 경우 특허 Royalty 부담을 줄일 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 제안된 회로의 동작원리에 대한 타당성을 이론적 분석 및 모의실험을 통하여 검증한다.
Bending Strength of Korean Softwood Species for 120 × 180 mm Structural Members

The goal of this study is to investigate bending properties of domestic timber. Three representative structural timber from Larix kaempferi, Pinus koraiensis, and Pinus densiflora, in the northeastern South Korea were selected. Visual grading for the timber was conducted based on KFRI notification 2009-01 and the bending strength for the timber was evaluated based on ASTM D 198 bending. The high percentage of grade 1 and 2 for Larix kaempferi shows that the KFRI notification was optimized for this species. The bending strength distributions from Pinus koraiensis and Pinus densflora were very similar. It could be possible to specify the allowable bending properties of these two Specification using a united species group similar to spruce-pine-fir. Lastly, the bending strength of 120 × 180 mm structural members was higher than both existing values in KBC 2009 and design values for timber of imported species described in the NDS. Thus, 120 mm thick domestic sofiwoods could replace the commercial imported species and the KBC should be modified to provide design values for both timber and dimensional lumber, respectively, like NDS.
