      • 전문대학 교수의 교수능력과 교육요구

        The purpose of this study was to identify the important teaching skill as perceived by junior college professors and to determine their performance level and educational needs in the selected teaching skills. One hundred twenty three professors from five different junior colleges were asked to indicate their ability to perform each of 40 teaching skills and also to rate the importance of each on a mailed questionnaire. The educational needs of junior college professors were analyzed by using the Hershkowitz's criticality function. The findings of this study were as follows. 1) The important teaching skills as perceived by junior college professors were those in 'instructional plan and preparation', 'instructional evaluation', and ’use of teaching method/techniques7 areas. 2) They perceived that their current performance level in most teaching skills was just beyond the ordinary level but was lower than the good level. 3) The highest needs were 'determining learning level & interests of students', 'using problem solving techniques’,and 'establishing student performance criteria’. It is recommended that the programs to enhance the teaching skills of professors should be developed based on their educational needs.

        실과교육 조사연구의 방법론 분석과 개선 방안

        The purpose of this study was to review practical arts education as a field of inquiry as well as methods of research in practical arts education and to examine the survey research in practical arts education in order to suggest a new direction for better research. This study was carried out through by reviewing the literature available and by analyzing the selected 24 articles and Masters theses in practical arts education with regard to their methodological perspectives. It was concluded that the practical arts education would be a field of inquiry and most methods of research would be applied to it as was in education. The features of the survey research were found as follows: (1)Majority of the research topics were related to the curriculum, the methods of teaching and learning and evaluation in practical arts education. (2)The population for the study was largely limited to the elementary teachers. (3)The most popular mode of data collection was the mailed questionnaire. The weaknesses of the survey research with regard to the methodological perspective were as follows: (1)The sample that was drawn from the selected area did not represent the population that was being surveyed. (2)The use of the sampling method was not appropriately employed. (3)The sample size was not appropriately decided by the researcher. (4)Some did not report information about the reliability and validity of the instruments. (5)The response rate of the mailed questionnaire was mostly less than 100 % but the collected data were analyzed without checking the nonresponse error. (6)Other appropriate procedures were not followed while conducting the survey research, especially, lack of building of a theoretical framework. The solutions to these problems and new directions for better research were suggested in the paper.

        산업인력구조 고도화 지원촉진법 제정방안 연구

        The purpose of this study was to develop alternatives to enact a promoting act to support the highly developed structure of workforce in Korea. The study was conducted through reviewing available literature, analyzing currently existing acts relating to vocational education and human resources development in both Korea and foreign countries, and also going through the expert panel`s ideas. There were three alternatives to enact a promoting act to support the highly developed structure of workforce. The first one is to restructure acts relating to vocational education for workforce development with enacting new acts about special aspects of vocational education such as career guidance, cooperation between school and industry, facility and equipments, training vocational educators, and special populations. The second one is to revise both the Promoting Act for Vocational Education and Training and the Promoting Act for Industrial Education, which are currently existing under the Ministry of Education among the acts relating to workforce development. The third one is to enact a new act substituting for the current Promoting Act for Industrial Education in order to support the highly developed structure of workforce in the future. The proposed new act consisted of five chapters and twenty five articles with two additional rules.

        전문대 학생의 진로포부와 개인 및 대학 변인의 위계적 관계

        이 연구의 목적은 전문대 학생의 진로포부와 개인 및 대학 변인의 위계적 관계를 구명하는데 있었다. 연구대상은 전문대학에 재학 중인 학생으로, 총 28개 전문대학교에서 수집한 734부의 자료를 분석에 활용 하였으며, 위계적 선형모형(HLM)의 무선효과 일원변량분석, 무선효과 회귀계수분석, 절편-기울기 결과모형 분석, 상호작용 효과 분석을 실시하였다. 이 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전문대 학생의 진로포부는 소속 대학 간 차이에 의해 설명되는 비율보다는 학생 간 차이에 의해 설명되는 비율이 상대적으로 높았다. 둘째, 개인 변인 중 성취동기, 진로결정 자기효능감은 전문대 학생의 진로포부에 정적 상관을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 전문대 학생의 성별, 학년, 취업관련 경험, 성취동기, 진로결정 자기효능감, 진로장벽은 전문대 학생의 진로포부에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 셋째, 대학 변인에서는 대학 학과 만족도가 진로포부에 정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 대학위치, 학과계열, 대학의 진로지원, 교수지지 등은 진로포부에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 넷째, 전문대 학생의 개인 변인 중 성취동기는 자연과학 의학 계열, 공학계열, 교수지지와의 상호작용을 통해, 진로결정 자기효능감은 대학의 진로지원을 통해 진로포부에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 후속연구를 위한 제언은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전문대학의 유형을 구분하거나, 대학 내에서도 특성화 분야와 비특성화 분야를 구분하여 연구를 진행할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 진로포부와 성취동기, 진로결정 자기효능감, 대학의 진로지원, 교수지지 등의 변인들의 구조적 관계를 구명할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 전문대 학생의 진로포부의 대학 간 변량을 설명할 수 있는 추가적인 변인에 대한 탐색 및 위계적 수준을 다양화하여 연구를 수행할 필요가 있다. The purpose of this study was to identify the hierarchical linear relationship among career Aspiration, student variables and college variables for the junior college students in Korea. A total of 734 of 28 junior colleges data were analyzed by both descriptive statistics and One-Way ANOVA with Random Effects, Random-Coefficients Regression Model, Intercepts and Slopes-as-Outcomes Model, and Cross-Level interaction Model of hierarchical linear model(HLM). Based on the findings of the study, the major conclusions of this study were as follows: First, in the case of individual level variables, achievement motivation, career decision-making self-efficacy have positive effects on career aspiration. Second, in the case of college level variables, college and major satisfaction has positive effect on career aspiration. Third, achievement motivation and career decision-making self-efficacy, individual variables, affected the career aspiration of junior college students by interacting with college variables. Some recommendations for future researches were suggested: Firstly, it is needed for future studies to conduct by junior college type or by dividing a college into a specialized area and a non-specialized area. Secondly, it is required to study the structural relationship among career aspiration, achievement motivation, career decision-making self-efficacy, the career support of college, and professor support. Thirdly, it is required to identify additional variables explaining the career aspiration of junior college students and between-group variate and conduct studies with more diverse hierarchical levels.

        한국과 미국 기술교사의 인적배경, 교직환경, 행동 및 심리적 특성 비교 : TALIS 2018 자료를 활용하여

        이 연구의 목적은 한국과 미국 기술교사의 인적배경 및 환경과 행동 및 심리적 특성을 비교하는 데 있었다. 분석대상은 TALIS 2018 조사에 참여한 한국 214명, 미국 675명의 기술교사이다. 주요 연구결과는 첫째, 한국과 미국 기술교사는 전체 중학교 교사와 성별, 최종학력, 고용형태 및 교직경력의 분포에 있어서 유사한 경향을 보인다. 둘째, 한국 기술교사의 연간 업무시간은 미국보다 적으나, 행정업무를 수행하는 시간은 많고, 수업과 전문성 개발에 할당하는 시간은 비교적 부족한 편이다. 셋째, 한국의 기술교사는 전문성 개발을 위해 학위 취득 등 전문적 노력이 비교적 부족한 편이며, 교과내용 및 교수법 등을 개발하기 위한 활동은 활발한 편이나 다문화, ICT 활용 등 혁신과 관련된 노력은 부족한 편이다. 넷째, 한국 기술교사는 고차원적인 교수활동이 부족한 편이며, 학생지도에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 다섯째, 한국 기술교사는 동료 교사 간의 수업협력 활동이 적은 편이다. 여섯째, 교직 선택의 동기로 한국 기술교사는 미국 기술교사에 비해 직업의 안정성, 시간적 여유 등과 같은 개인적 유용성은 높았으나, 학생의 발전, 사회 기여 등의 사회적 유용성은 낮았다. 일곱째, 한국 기술교사는 미국 기술교사 보다 교사효능감이 비교적 낮은 편이며, 특히 학급관리에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 직무만족도도 미국의 기술교사보다 낮은 편으로 특히 근무환경에 대한 만족도가 낮다. The purpose of this study was to compare the human background and environment and behavioral and psychological characteristics of Korean and American technical teachers. Subject to analysis are 214 South Korean and 675 U.S. technology teachers who participated in TALIS 2018 survey. Major research results show that Korean and American technology teachers tend to be similar to middle school teachers. Second, the annual working hours of Korean technical teachers are less than those of the United States, but there is a lot of administrative time, and there is a relatively little time to allocate to classes and professional development. Third, Korean technical teachers are relatively lacking in professional efforts such as obtaining degrees to develop expertise, and activities to develop curriculum contents and teaching methods are active, but efforts related to innovation such as multiculturalism and ICT utilization are lacking. Fourth, Korean technical teachers lack high-dimensional teaching activities and are having difficulty guiding students. Fifth, Korean technical teachers have less class cooperation activities among fellow teachers. Sixth, Korean technical teachers choose teaching as motivation for personal usefulness, such as job stability and time-lapse. Seventh, Korean technical teachers have a relatively lower sense of effectiveness than the United States, especially having difficulty in class management, and low job satisfaction, which makes them less satisfied with their working environment.

        초등 실과의 수행평가 도구 개발 연구

        The purpose of this study was to develop the performance assessment instruments in elementary Practical Arts Subject. Before developing the instruments, the researchers formulated a model for performance assessment in practical arts education based upon a review of extensive literatures, and set the performance standards for practical arts education, which they were divided into Subject Standards and Content Standards. Based upon the Model a total of 64 performance assessment instruments were finally developed after 54 instruments were tested with several elementary schools in six metropolitan and provinces across the country. Eight types to assess the learned knowledge and skills of learners in practical arts education were used for the instruments. Every instrument had a rubric with 1, 2, 3 numbers indicating the performance level.

        중소기업 직무교육훈련 참가자의 현업적용도와 개인 및 조직성과와의 영향관계

        이 연구의 목적은 중소기업 직무교육훈련 참가자의 현업적용도와 개인성과 및 조직성과와의 영향관계를 구명하는데 있었다. 조사대상은 최소 5인 이상이 중소기업 컨소시엄 재직자 훈련에 참가한 중소기업의 근로자와 교육을 파견한 관리자를 대상으로 하였다. 조사도구는 현업적용도와 개인성과, 조직성과 및 개인, 프로그램, 조직특성을 측정하는 문항으로 구성된 질문지를 활용하였다. 분석에 사용된 설문지는 총 213부로서 유효자료율은 42.6%였다. 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중소기업 직무교육훈련 참가자의 현업적용도와 관련변인 간의 위계적 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 개인특성 중에서 인지된 유용성이 현업적용도에 미치는 영향력이 통계적으로 가장 큰 변인으로 나타났으며, 자기효능감과 경력계획도 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 프로그램 특성 중에서는 교육훈련 내용만이 유의한 영향을 미치는 변인으로 나타났는데, 영향력의 크기는 가장 컸다. 조직특성을 추가로 투입한 모형에서는 설명력이 58.8%로 나타나 전체 모형은 매우 큰 설명력을 보였다. 조직특성에서는 동료지원이 유의한 영향을 미치는 변인으로 나타났다. 둘째, 중소기업 컨소시엄 직무교육훈련의 현업적용도는 개인성과와 조직성과에 직접적으로 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 개인성과와 조직성과의 관계에서 개인성과는 조직성과에 직접적인 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 후속연구 수행을 위한 시사점과 제도개선 방안을 제시하였다. The purpose of this research is to study the relationships among the transfer of training and individual and organizational performance of participants in job training program for small and medium-sized enterprises. The target population was workers and managers of small and medium sized companies who sent at least 5 employees to the vocational training consortium program. The questionnaires composed of the transfer of training, individual performance and organizational performance and individual, program and organizational characteristics were used as the survey tool. A total of 213 questionnaires were collected for analysis and effective collection rate was 42.6%. The main results of this research are summarized as follows. First, the hierarchical regression analysis between the transfer of training and selected variables of job training participants of SMEs showed that the most influential variables to the transfer of training statistically were found to be the recognized utility of individual characteristics and self-efficacy and career development also had significant influence. Second, the transfer of job training of SME consortium has a direct and positive effect on personal performance and organizational performance. Third, in the relationship between personal performance and organizational performance, personal performance has a direct and positive effect on organizational performance. Based on the results of this study, the proposals for the follow-up researches and the institutional improvement were suggested.

        The purpose of this study was to suggest the education plan of key competencies development needed for college students. For accomplishing it, this study conducted various research methods. Extensive literature was collected and reviewed. A panel of expert committee was held in order to discuss and search the education plan which were made by researchers. Concretely, this study was intended to suggest the strategies for educating key competencies and for supporting the education of key competencies in college education. The results of this study were as follows: 1) we proposed the educational objectives, contents, methods of instruction and learning, and evaluation methods for educating key competencies in each area of competencies. Also, The results of this study indicated that the various approaches should be necessary for developing key competencies, including classroom instruction, cooperative education, internship, extracurricular activities, and so on. 2) this study suggested that various support from government, college, community, and related institutions is needed for development of college students' key competencies.
