        Objectives : The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship among sociability and self-esteem of nursing students. Methods : Using a structured questionnaire, data were collected from 253 nursing students. Frequency, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Scheffe´ test, and Pearson correlation coefficient with SPSS package were used to data analysis. Results : 1. The mean score of sociability was 3.54±.303(min 1, max 5), And the mean score of self esteem 3.48±.405(min 1, max 5). 2. As result of analyzing general aspects of the sociability, statistically significant differences were found in character(F=10.038, p<.001), adaptation to situation or environmental change(F=13.683, p<.001), satisfaction of clinical practices(F=4.778, p<.01), motivation of choosing to nursing department(F=3.461, p<.01). As result of analyzing general aspects of the self esteem, statistically significant differences were found in character(F=13.236, p<.001), adaptation to situation or environmental change(F=12.718, p<.001), satisfaction of lecture(F=5.425, p<.01), satisfaction of clinical practices(F=3.549, p<.05), motivation of choosing to nursing department(F=3.651, p<.01) 3. As result of analysis of correlation between the sociability and self esteem were statically significant relationships(r=.760, p<.001). Conclusions : Through this results, the educational program for improvement of sociability and self esteem is needed for nursing students.

      • 간호대학생의 간호전문직관, 간호사 이미지 및 셀프리더십 간의 관계

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify relationship between nursing professionalism, nurse image and self-leadership among nursing students. Methods: This research was cross sectional survey design. Participants were 214 nursing students and recruited from 3 or 4-grade nursing students from two university in B metropolitan. Data was collected by structured questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise regression analysis with SPSS/WIN 24.0 program. Results: First, The average score of the participants nursing professionalism was 3.71±0.496 out of 5, nurse image was 5.55±0.749 out of 7 and self-leadership was 3.85± 0.487 out of 5. Second, As result of analyzing general aspects of the nursing professionalism, statistically significant differences were found in age (F=7.929, p<.001), grade (t=4.616, p<.001), satisfaction of major (F=4.134, p<.01), satisfaction of clinical practices (F=9.431, p<.001), one s own efforts in class (F=3.942, p<.05), adapt to college life (F=4.725, p<.05), one s own health status (F=4.843, p<.01). Third, as result of analysis of correlations between nursing professionalism and nurse image (r=.417, p<.001), nursing professionalism and self-leadership (r=.502, p<.001) and nurse image and self-leadership (r=.380, p<.001) of the nursing students were statistically significant relationships. Forth, Factors significantly affecting nursing professionalism were self-leadership (β=.401, p <.001) and nurse image (β=.265, p<.001). Explanatory power of the model was 30.5%. Conclusion: It is necessary to develop a program for continuous teaching and education that will help self-leadership and nurse image.

      • 간호취업역량강화프로그램이 간호대학생의 진로성숙도, 자아존중감, 진로장벽인식정도 및 진로결정자기효능감에 미치는 효과

        Purpose : The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of nursing employment capability reinforcement program on the career maturity, self-esteem, perceived career barriers and career decision–making self-efficacy of nursing students. Methods : This study was pre-experimental research designed to compare the differences between pre-and post-program. The subjects in this study were 86 selected students at a university located in B Metropolitan City. The nursing employment capability reinforcement program was given August, 17th, 2016. The program consisted of two steps in total. The participants completed a battery of paper-and-pencil measures, including the career maturity, self-esteem, perceived career barriers and career decision-making self-efficacy scale before and after the program. The collected data was analyzed using t-test, x2-test, Fisher’s exact test with the SPSS WIN 18.0 program. Results : The findings of the study are summarized as follows: Mean value for career maturity was from 3.23 to 3.27(t=.500, p=.619), self-esteem was from 3.48 to 3.54(t=.714, p=.477), perceived career barriers was from 3.12 to 2.82(t=-5.081, p<.001) and career decision-making self-efficacy from score 4.38 to 4.61(t=3.312, p<.001). Conclusion : Nursing employment capability reinforcement program was an effective program on career maturity, self-esteem, perceived career barriers and career decision–making self- efficacy of nursing students.

      • 간호대학생의 온라인수업 관련 인지된 학업성취도 영향요인

        Purpose: This study was to identify the factors affecting the perceived achievement of nursing students who experienced online-class due to COVID-19. Methods: This research was descriptive survey design. Participants were nursing students who had experienced online-class due to COVID-19 for one semester at a university in B metropolitan. Data were collected by structured questionnaire via google format. Data were collected through online surveys from June 1 to 10, 2020. Data were analyzed using descriptive, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise regression analysis with SPSS/WIN 24.0 program. Results: First, the average score of teaching presence was 4.20±0.68, learner participation 3.84±0.64, learner satisfaction 4.21±0.70, and perceived achievements was 4.19±0.63. Second, factors significantly affecting perceived achievement were leaner satisfaction (β=471, p<.001), teaching presesnce (β=.305, p<.001) and learner participation (β=.181, p=.002). These factors affecting the perceived learner’s achievements of the subjects were with an explanatory power of 80.3%. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to improve online learner’s perceived achievement. Instructors should develop learning strategies that can enhance learners self-directed learning in online classes for nursing students.

        간호대학생의 임상실습시 경험하는 폭력, 폭력경험 후 반응, 회복탄력성이 학업소진에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 간호대학생의 임상실습시 경험하는 폭력, 폭력경험 후 반응, 회복탄력성 및 학업소진을 확인하고, 학업소진에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 B광역시와 G도에 소재한 4개 대학교의 간호학과 4학년에 재학중인 간호대학생 318명에게 설문조사를 실시하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS Windows 24.0프로그램을 활용하여 기술통계, 독립표본t검정, 일원배치분산분석, 쉐페 사후검정, 피어슨상관계수, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구결과, 학업소진은 4점만점에 2.58점이었고, 학업소진은 폭력경험후 반응(r=-.393, p <.001), 회복탄력성(r=.176, p <.001)과 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 회귀모형은 적합하였으며(F=130.045, p <.001) 학업소진에 영향을 미치는 요인은 임상실습만족도(β=-.393, p <.001), 전공만족도(β=-.188, p <.001), 폭력경험후 반응(β=.176, p <.001), 주관적 건강상태(β=-.156, p <.001), 가해자(β=.135, p =.002), 회복탄력성(β=-.118, p =.016)순이었으며, 학업소진을 45.9%설명하였다. 결론적으로 학업소진에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인이 임상실습만족과 전공만족이므로 다양한 교육전략과 폭력경험 후 부정적인 반응을 감소시키고 회복탄력성 향상을 위한 학생상담프로그램을 개발해야할 것이다. 또한 간호대학생의 임상실습시 경험하는 폭력 및 폭력경험후 반응, 학업소진에 대한 질적연구가 필요하다. This study was a descriptive research to investigate clinical violence experience, response to violence experience, resilience and academic burnout and to identify the factors affecting the academic burnout among nursing students. The participants were 318 nursing students. who were recruited from the 2 Department of Nursing in B Metropolitan and 2 Department of Nursing in Gyeongsangnam-do. The structured questionnaire was self-administered from November 1 to 30, 2019. Data were analyzed through the SPSS/WIN 24.0 program using descriptive statistics, Independent t-test와 one-way ANOVA, Scheffé test, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression. According to the results of this study, Mean score for academic burnout in nursing student was 2.58 out of 4 point. The factors of satisfaction with clinical practice(β=-.393, p <.001), satisfaction with nursing major(β=-.188, p <.001), responses to violence experience(β=.176, p <.001), perceived health status(β=-.156, p <.001) attacker(β=.135, p =.002), resilience(β=-.118, p =.016)were impact on the academic burnout level of nursing students. The total explanatory power accounted for 45.9%. In conclusion, since clinical practice satisfaction and major satisfaction are the factors that have the greatest influence on academic burnout, it is necessary to develop various educational strategies and a student counseling program to reduce negative reactions after experiencing violence and improve resilience. In addition, a qualitative study on the clinical violence experience, response to violence experience and academic burnout of nursing students is needed.

      • 간호학입문과 생명윤리 교과목이 간호대학 신입생의 간호이미지와 간호전문직관에 미치는 효과

        Purpose. This study was performed to evaluate the effects of a introduction of nursing and bioethics subject on nurse image and nursing professionalism of freshmen nursing students. Methods. Participants were 104 freshmen nursing students. The period of data collection was from March 3 to June 17, 2016. The research was done in a one group pretet-posttest for a quasi-experimental study. The data ware analyzed by frequencies and paired t-test using the SPSS 21.0 program. Results. The results are as followed : There were statistically significant differences among pre and post in the nurse image(t=-6.15, p<.001) and nursing professionalism(t=53.92, p<.001). Conclusions. We strongly recommend using introduction of nursing and bioethics subject to nurse image and nursing professionalism of freshmen nursing students. And, in future study, it is necessary to develop the curriculum and teaching strategies for improving nurse image and nursing professionalism.

        간호대학생의 직업존중감 및 영향요인

        본 연구는 간호대학생의 직업가치관, 간호전문직 자아개념 및 직업존중감을 확인하고, 직업존중감에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 B광역시와 G도에 소재한 4개 대학교의 간호학과에 재학 중인 간호대학생 329명에게 설문조사를 실시하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS Windows 21.0프로그램을 활용하여 기술통계, 독립표본t검정, 일원배치분산분석, 쉐페 사후검정, 피어슨상관계수, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 직업존중감은 5점 만점에 3.88점이었고, 직업존중감에 영향을 미치는 요인은 직업가치관(β=.557), 간호전문직 자아개념(β=.235), 연간봉사활동횟수(β=.135), 봉사교과목을 이수여부(β=.114), 성별(β=-.072)순으로 나타났으며, 직업존중감을 66.3%설명하였다. 결론적으로 직업존중감에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인이 직업가치관이므로 가장 우선적으로 직업가치관 향상을 위한 다양한 교육전략을 개발하고 봉사교과목, 봉사활동 등을 포함하는 교과외 교육과정을 개발하고 적용할 때 성별 간 차이를 고려해야 할 것이다. This study was a descriptive research to investigate work value, nursing professional self-concept and job-esteem and to identify the factors affecting the job-esteem among undergraduate nursing students. The participants were 329 undergraduate nursing students. who were recruited from the 2 Department of Nursing in B Metropolitan and 2 Department of Nursing in Gyeongsangnam-do. The structured questionnaire was self-administered from November 29 to December 5, 2018. Data were analyzed through the SPSS/WIN 21.0 program using descriptive statistics, Independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffé test, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression. According to the results of this study, Mean score for job-esteem in nursing student was 3.88 out of 5 point. The factors of work value(β=.557), professional self-concept(β=.235), annual number of volunteers(β=.135) and take a service course(β=.114) were the positive impact and gender(β=-.072) were the negative impact on the job-esteem level of nursing students. The total explanatory power accounted for 66.3%. In conclusion, It is necessary to develop program a work value and nursing professional self-concept, annual number of volunteers, take a service course according to gender use specific strategies to improve job-esteem. In order to enhance the positive job-esteem of nursing students, there is a need to develop educational intervention that improves the work value and professional self-concept. and the need to plan ways to increase participation and provide information and opportunities is to invigorate the function of the volunteering service which is also considered as one of the functions of the university.

      • 간호대학생의 노인에 대한 태도에 영향을 미치는 요인

        Purpose : The purpose of this study was to identify influencing factors of attitude toward the elderly in nursing students. Methods : Participants were 284 nursing students from one college and two department of nursing in B metropolitan. Data was collected by structured questionnaire on subjects’ characteristics, knowledge and attitude toward the elderly. Data were analyzed using descriptive, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression analysis with SPSS/WIN 24.0 program. Results : First, The average score of the participants knowledge was 0.45±0.10 out of 1 and attitude was 4.10±0.55 out of 7. Second, As result of analyzing general aspects of the knowledge, statistically significant differences were not found. As result of analyzing general aspects of the attitudes, statistically significant differences were found in gender(t=-2.543, p<.05), grade(t=-8.080, p<.001), grandparents survival(t=-2.925, p<.01), living with the elderly past(t=-3.217, p<.01), whether to have a elderly friend(t=-3.832, p<.001), experience of voluntary service related with the elderly(t=-5.667, p<.001), intention to do gerontoloical nursing(F=44.828, p<.001), interest in the elderly(F=30.276, p<.001). Third, As result of analysis of correlation between the knowledge and attitude were statistically significant relationships(r=.191, p<.01). Forth, Factors significantly affecting attitude toward the elderly were intention to do gerontological nursing(β=.256, p<.001), grade(β=.280, p<.001), interest in the elderly(β=.156, p<.01), gender(β=.127, p<.01), knowledge toward the elderly(β=.103, p<.05), living with the elderly(past)(β =.110, p<.05), whether to have a elderly friend(β=.103, p<.05). Explanatory power of the model was 38.7%. Conclusions : It is necessary to develop a program for continuous teaching and education that will help increase nursing student’s knowledge and thereby positively change attitude toward the elderly.

      • 부산시내 일부 간호대학생의 자기효능감 영향요인

        Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate influencing factors in self-efficacy among nursing students. Methods : The subjects of this study were 195 nursing students in B city. Self-report questionnaires were used to measure the variables. In data analysis, PASW Statistics 18.0 program was utilized for frequency, percentage, means, t-test, ANOVA, and Scheffe´ test, Pearson correlation coefficient and Regression analysis. Results : The mean score for self-efficacy was 3.74(SD=.565). Self-Efficacy was significantly different according to satisfaction to the major(F=21.119, p<.001), satisfaction to the recognition(F=18.588, p<.001), adaptation to the college life(F=14.995, p<.001), perceived health status(F=5.948, p<.01) and one of families(t=-2.600, p<.05). The most important variables affected self-efficacy could explain a total 35.2%, were accounted for 20.1% in the satisfaction to the major and 8.3% in the adaptation to the college life by the stepwise multiple regression analysis. Conclusions : As a result, self-efficacy was correlated with satisfaction to the major in nursing students. Therefore we need to develop various self-efficacy program for nursing students.
